Amazon Freevee: Movies/Live TV Reviews

I absolutely love AmazonFreevee! Yes u have to watch ad’s but u can’t expect nothing for a free app. It does need some improvements such as- being able to have a saved watchlist so u can watch ur saved stuff later. Right now u have to look up each thing u want to watch every time u open AmazonFreevee . Fast forwarding & rewinding is a bit of a pain even with the 10 sec buttons & moving the bar. The English captions that u can set has to be re set every time u watch something even if u already had it on previously. It doesn’t stay on which is a bit of a pain. Lastly it would be nice to show when shows/movies are going to be taken off AmazonFreevee . Would love to see a list of all the things that will be leaving & how much time u have left to watch them. If all 4 things was added, AmazonFreevee would be 5 stars. Please add these features!?!?!?

There seems to be a lot of movies to choose from. There are may different categories to pick from. The problem is, if you’re looking for a specific title, there’s no way to search it. You just have to scroll through all of the listings to try and find the movie you’re looking for. I also couldn’t figure out how to add a title to watch later by adding it to a watch list. Don’t use AmazonFreevee thinking you’re going to easily find a movie; that’s not going to happen. You just have to keep scrolling and scrolling and scrolling, until you finally give up an choose something else to watch, or move on to another app.

Finally an app that allows the user to throw away every intuitive or logical thought learned in the digital age. Imagine being able to carry on a conversation with friends and family while scrolling endlessly though a list of movie choices that doesn’t stoop to organizing titles using that archaic alphabetical gimmick. I like my life sorted randomly. And the money we save not having to stream the movie to my big screen TV. Come on kids, gather around my big screen smart phone and watch a great action movie with full dynamic sound from the phone’s speaker. Trust me, your digital life won’t be complete until you download AmazonFreevee.

Good selection of shows and movies and they added a search feature to ios app except after you type in what your searching for, there is no way to execute the search, making it useless. Once they fix the search feature, it should be excellent on ios. I watch mostly on my television with AmazonFreevee on the TV and the search feature works fine there.

It's fine. Free movies and tv. There are ads, but just one at a time which is manageable. I'm just not tolerable of not having a Picture in Picture functionality. Like please let me use my phone while also watching stuff. I will never use AmazonFreevee if i can't also do other things on my phone. At this point, I will literally find a sketchy free streaming website that I can use pip with rather than use any app that I can't use pip with. I don't care what other features AmazonFreevee has. If I can't multitask, it seriously lowers how much I will use AmazonFreevee.

Overall I’m pleased with what I’ve seen. I’m currently binge watching a show and I had to turn the subtitles on for every episode. It would be nice if they stayed on. Also the categories don’t match in my opinion. I hope as AmazonFreevee goes on it will as great as it has the potential to be.!

When I first opened AmazonFreevee it would not go to landscape mode. Only when I started watching a show would it go to landscape mode. But when I stopped watching the show it went back to portrait mode. I use my iPad to stream shows and I like to not only watch the shows in landscape mode but also make selections in landscape mode. What I don't like is to continuously rotate my iPad while I use an app. Who was stupid enough to make AmazonFreevee portrait mode only until you start a selected show?!? Fix this and I’ll give you more stars!

I’m trying to watch a series and everything is jumbled on the screen. Descriptions overlap, words are cut off, when you click on “continue watching” it dosent play that episode, it takes you to a list of every episode then you have to scroll down to find the right episode. You can’t just move the bar forward at all to jump to a time. Only option is the 10 seconds forward which dosent work half the time. If your going to force people to use AmazonFreevee make sure it works on a phone.

There seriously needs to be an internal search feature. There also needs to be a list like ‘Continue Watching’, or ‘Previously Viewed’. Also, a feature or section that says ‘Suggestions For You’ as well. But not having the search capability in AmazonFreevee really runs people off to watch a competitor’s app. I believe these suggestions will gain respect and credibility quickly, and you’ll gain more positive, 5-Star feedback.

1. If you want a film with subtitles , you need to turn it on every time you open the movie. It doesn’t remember your last preference for a particular movie.
2. Too much ads: yes the movies are free but every time you open the movie you have to watch 4 ads. Sometimes you see ads and then watch for 10 mins and then close AmazonFreevee for later vieweing. When you revisit the same movie it again starts with 4 ads which is quite annoying and it should be removed l.

It’s free, for goodness sake, and it has good movies and TV. I almost didn’t try it out because so many of the reviews were bad, but I’m really happy I did. This isn’t just the dregs, like some of the apps (movies and TV that you’d never want to watch), they have some good stuff here. I love AmazonFreevee!

So not only did I have to download this separate app to be able to watch streaming content on IMDb, there's also no search function?? Titles aren't alphabetized when scrolling? Not even an drop-down option to alphabetize? Is hoping for app improvements worthwhile, or futile? Considering the parent developer is a certain A-to-Z conglomerate, I'm leaning toward futile. There are other streaming-free-with-ads apps which have a search function. I'll be spending more time with them.

We really like watching and throwing to devices with AmazonFreevee. So many of our favorite shows that we don't see on other apps. Super snappy and quick to play shows, easy move around into what we want to watch.

AmazonFreevee has a lot of good shows, but no Way of saving it to a list. It would be nice to search for shows and if you find one you like, then you could add to a watch later list, so it would be easier to find the shows you want to watch.

What a bunch of whiners. I am old and I figured out how to use AmazonFreevee . Download AmazonFreevee and sign in. Go to the IMDB app and search for a movie that says it’s available on IMDB and then click “Watch free on IMDB.” Opens up the movie immediately in AmazonFreevee .

It’s good except for the no search bar it’s easy to use and to be able to search you just need to get the free app “IMDb reviews” you can search on it and see what movies are on “IMDb tv and movie’s“ and just need to click watch movie and boom you found the movie you wanted

So far I only use AmazonFreevee for two shows. Judy Justice, Which just started in late October 2021. And one of my favorite documentaries, air disasters or Mayday air disasters. It is,a very basic streaming site, but like I said, it works for the two shows that I watch on there, and it’s free.

I don’t know who added the search feature but you are definitely not paying that person enough. So much better!!!!!

I have all of my apps set to stream on my data plan since I don’t have internet. When I downloaded this, it would freeze every few minutes, but at least it played for the most part. But then it started doing a spinning circle, followed by either “oops, we are having trouble loading your content” or “you have no internet connection”. When I hit the refresh button, it does absolutely nothing.

I love IMDB!! Possibly my favorite streaming app! I love my Judy Justice and that awesome variety!! I love the ability to browse the shows and movies! I love the older shows and the IMDB shows!! I HIGHLY recommend it!! Nice and easy on your device or Roku. I love it and I Love that it is “always free”!! Thank you!!!

You cannot browse in landscape mode. It is a pain when using on a docked iPad.

As a paying prime member this should not include ads. It is an unusable personal data siphoning nightmare in its current state.

Always loved IMDB! Now IMDB TV is out with awesome films and shows for FREE! Love it!
