Not cute anymore

I hold off on the update till yesterday I accidentally updated it. It is no longer cute anymore. It’s too plain and buggy. Not only app not cute anymore the other setting do not work: Color and font do not change no mater the setting. I’ve read many have same issue after update. Some had reached out to customer support to get it fixed. My question is why did it happen in the first place after update? Is there a bug in the app? I deleted the app and am sticking to iOS default widget for now since this app no longer serves its original purpose which is being “cute.” Just feel sad and a little schemed for purchasing an app that doesn’t last a few months.

I paid a dollar for this; it was pretty basic, you couldn’t see multiple locations at a time like with the apple weather app, and it was sometimes wrong, but it was a cute weather widget, which is what I wanted for my Home Screen. However, now, after updating, it no longer shows the “cute weather” widget, but rather, a really basic one with the wrong location. I went in to the app to fix it, and it seems that you now have to pay at least $3 a week if not more for this to work. Please don’t bother with this one.

The app asked me for my location so I said yes and after that it Kept on asking for it even though I already pressed “allow” that was very annoying. And every time I open the app it asks me like 5 times to make a purchase to unlock more things. Also it wasn’t even getting the weather right. It said it’s 10 degrees outside when it’s really 55 degrees and it’s spring Why would it be 10 degrees??
