CuteWeather: weather widget Reviews

I don’t normally leave reviews, but CuteWeather had too few for its high quality. “Cute Weather” was honestly an impulse buy but I’m totally glad that I got it. It’s very cute and it lets you choose the colors of the widget Home Screen. Its color schemes are cute and simplistic. The drawings are also very cute. I haven’t crashed while using CuteWeather , and I really like it. I’d definitely recommend it for a friend.

I also appreciate the developer commenting on each review and then seeing them try to fix any complaints. It shows that the developer really cares about its audience.

At first I didn’t want to spend the money, but it’s rly worth it.

First, cheers to the developer. I did not expect a response at all, let alone an update but both were received and, for the record, the developer is super professional. Thank you.

As for CuteWeather , I am happy to say that I was able to enjoy it. The interface is clean and again the graphics are really well done — even the cloudy days make you feel sunny on the inside.

Dear developer, CuteWeather looks like a lot of fun. I downloaded it to try, but on launching CuteWeather I could not get past the request for my location. After agreeing, it just stays on the same screen without advancing. The option to put in the weather manually didn’t work either. I tried to delete CuteWeather (so I could try and reinstall) and CuteWeather itself would not be removed from my phone (seemed like it was isolated to just CuteWeather as I was able to delete other apps normally.). I’m running iOS 14 if that helps with trying to figure out any bugs.

The graphics really look great and again, I would really like to try this once operational.

CuteWeather is very cute and aesthetically pleasing. I love the minimal look to it and ease of use and the widget is great. A couple updates I’d love to see would be to see high and low for the day of the week view as well, and the ability to search different locations from within CuteWeather (maybe via a magnifying glass icon in the top left) or swipe screens between two or more favorite locations (in anticipation of when we can travel again)!

I find CuteWeather really cute. However, I don’t think it’s necessary to have to pay for nearly everything in CuteWeather . I normally don’t write reviews but I figured that I would hop in for a second.
Sure the weather widget is cute but I can’t use anything else unless I pay. Instead make it to where you can use some widgets, but in order to use special ones you have to pay. I don’t think subscription is necessary for this one. And sadly this is the only cute widget app I could find for Apple product. If you could make it to where there were more options for those who simply can’t do that kind of subscription maybe you would have more positive responses...

I’ve never written an app review before, but the recent update to CuteWeather has annoyed me enough that I have to. When I first downloaded this I added the widget to my ipad and it worked fine. Then I updated it and I was no longer able to get the widget to work or use the old cute weather images in the widget. The new widget doesn’t have an option to show the temperature in Fahrenheit, and shows time in the European way, so it is no longer convenient to me. Basically, CuteWeather no longer has any of the functionality that made me get it in the first place. 2 stars only because you can still open CuteWeather to see the cute weather icons and American time and temperature.

I hold off on the update till yesterday I accidentally updated it. It is no longer cute anymore. It’s too plain and buggy. Not only app not cute anymore the other setting do not work: Color and font do not change no mater the setting. I’ve read many have same issue after update. Some had reached out to customer support to get it fixed. My question is why did it happen in the first place after update? Is there a bug in CuteWeather ? I deleted CuteWeather and am sticking to iOS default widget for now since CuteWeather no longer serves its original purpose which is being “cute.” Just feel sad and a little schemed for purchasing an app that doesn’t last a few months.

I love CuteWeather ! I originally purchased it before it switched to subscription based model, and I was confused about accessing the old features. I emailed the developers and received super fast replies and got everything sorted out within hours. Very impressed with the feedback AND CuteWeather ! I prefer over any other weather app, it’s so adorable and now with even more functions!

I already paid for CuteWeather and NOW you changed it to a subscription plan and I can’t even use the “cute” weather labels I specifically PAID FOR? Not cool. You just took what I purchased and said I can’t use it now. If u wanted to create a subscription app you should have made a different account!

Super cute graphics! Was excited to use CuteWeather and set up the widgets too. Used for a while now and the weather location would fluctuate back and forth between the US and New Zealand. Anyway, I wanted to create custom widgets and paid for the yearly subscription. Since then, my weather widgets haven’t updated in days and I’m not able to load any content on new ones I’d like to add to the screen. I’m just disappointed that after I paid, it doesn’t seem to work anymore.

I bought this weather app for the functionality of the widgets, and I have not been disappointed by the looks or by the information displayed. I have had previous concerns with the developer and have reached out to them and they were very kind in addressing my concerns.

Omg! I LOVE CuteWeather. It’s very creative with the color scheme and how it interacts with my existing apps. It simplifies things for me while also allowing me to customize my screen for exactly what I feel reflects how I feel. I love being able to express myself creatively with the cute designs. 🎊🥰✨🌟

I paid a dollar for this; it was pretty basic, you couldn’t see multiple locations at a time like with the apple weather app, and it was sometimes wrong, but it was a cute weather widget, which is what I wanted for my Home Screen. However, now, after updating, it no longer shows the “cute weather” widget, but rather, a really basic one with the wrong location. I went in to CuteWeather to fix it, and it seems that you now have to pay at least $3 a week if not more for this to work. Please don’t bother with this one.

I downloaded CuteWeather expecting to download some cute weather widgets to put on my iPhone home screen, but unfortunately I did not see that option at all. When I first download and open CuteWeather , it just prompts me to share my location and shows me the weather for each day and time of the day. Where is the option to add widgets to home screen??

CuteWeather icons are really cute though, but I wish I just knew how to add the widgets/ the option is available to users.

CuteWeather is quite eye candy i love the look and graphics. To the developer i would love to see you add this and thats a dark background. I prefer 100% of the time have my phone on dark mode with dark colored wallpapers. Think you can do a dark mode of the widget that would be the bomb!!

I can’t seem to get other weather apps to work but this is just what I need! Not only is it too cute but it also works really well!

CuteWeather asked me for my location so I said yes and after that it Kept on asking for it even though I already pressed “allow” that was very annoying. And every time I open CuteWeather it asks me like 5 times to make a purchase to unlock more things. Also it wasn’t even getting the weather right. It said it’s 10 degrees outside when it’s really 55 degrees and it’s spring Why would it be 10 degrees??

CuteWeather is the cutest! Very practical for my iPad as it doesn’t have a built in weather app. Would definitely recommend to any one looking for a weather app widget 😄

This is a very cute weather app it would be nice to see in the future to have a little more info and be able to customize it more.

Loved all the options until I realized you had to pay for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING CUTE for the widget features. The only free option is the plain weather widget which defeated the purpose of downloading in the first place. Would have been nice to have one simple kawaii template that was free and then keep your customization and alternative kawaii options for paying customers.

It also help if you like having cute apps on your phone i totally recommend

Super cute widget - needs a cleaner font or the option to customize it. My eyes are too old for the ornamental 1 & 7. Please change the font or make it customizable.

Haven’t used it a ton yet. Like the design. Wish I knew the source for the weather data. Can’t find that anywhere.

Allowing one to "change" between a few colors is a welcome update. A couple of font options for a cleaner look would also be much appreciated.

CuteWeather MIGHT SEEM CUTE BUT ONCE YOU DOWNLOAD IT IT JUST CRASHES OVER AND OVER AGAIN. NOT WORTH IT EVEN IT IT WOULD BE FREE
