Can make it but can’t save, only delete works

I’ve been trying for a couple days. I’ve spent too much time on this already but ResumeBuilder doesn’t seem to work I’ve used the website before and got the same results so I don’t know why I trusted the reviews on here but all that happens is you make your account, and it’s need to save the resume, then you make you resume and they say to sigh in or make an account to save it. Alternatively you can skip the account creation and make the resume anyway and still be asked to sign in. Either way when you hit either one of the two buttons it stops on a white screen and keeps you there. I changed the setting on my phone so the screen wouldn’t turn off and it still never loaded. Literally the only button that worked at the end of it all was “delete guest data”. I suggest if you really want to use this you make it then screen shot it and copy paste everything to a text document. Resumes are easy enough to do on your own so I don’t think there are any real free services to do it for you. The resumes you can make though are really good and perfect to copy.

Job searches aren’t frustrating enough??

The user interface of ResumeBuilder is really terribly awkward. It actually would not allow me to enter my job descriptions last night, even though it loves to point out I’ve got “missing information”. Today I went in, it was working but… not at all helpful when I’m trying to get my resume in for an “urgently hiring” position!! ALSO, everytime you leave ResumeBuilder it closes w/o saving (ex: opening Indeed app). In some cases I’ve lost entire paragraphs. Yes, I do click “Save” every time I do ANYTHING on ResumeBuilder. Even so it caused me to lose & rewrite a paragraph 3 times!! I’m invested right now, but I’ll be looking for another resume app. Or maybe have my graphic designing brother do it 😁

Worst, most buggy app. Had me login over and over again.

Absolutely horrible experience using ResumeBuilder. After all the hard work of building, my résumé, it insisted that I link it with indeed. That’s the only way they’ll give you your résumé, since they are linked with indeed. This wouldn’t be a problem as I have an account on indeed, but ResumeBuilder is so buggy. It made me login 5000 times, and kept taking me back to the privacy policy page. It will make you make a résumé, and then it will not let you log back in. I am so angry, I need to start applying today and now I have to build an entire new résumé. Save yourself the trouble and do not download ResumeBuilder.

Progress not saved

I had to start over in every section each time I needs to open another option on my phone, this included incoming phone calls. I would be partially through writing in a section, when I needed to look up an address or use online dictionary, etc or any incoming communication, and all the writing I had done was erased when I returned to ResumeBuilder . There is an option to save your work along the way, however, that ability to save does not come up until you are entirely finished with that section. Therefore, the parts where you need to actually write something about yourself, do not get saved, unless you have finished writing and moved onto the next part which allows you to save your work. You can’t possibly do that when suddenly somebody calls you or text you or you need to leave ResumeBuilder to look up a word or an address. It was very frustrating. I only stuck with it because I had already invested a lot of my time.

Helpful, but needs some improvement

First I should say that ResumeBuilder has thankfully helped me create a good looking resume, and I have been able to use it to edit it and create different versions. So this is great! However some of the features were not so intuitive - I didn’t find the functions where I expected to find them (such as renaming sections, reordering skills) and so this gave me a little bit of a learning curve (I did eventually figure it out) In the process, ResumeBuilder froze on me several times, also. I’d give four stars for the non-intuitive aspect, but adding in the freezing up bit, hard to give four stars. But, hey, it’s alright.

Please update for bug fixes

ResumeBuilder displays awesome templates for your resume and cover letter.
I completed my resume using ResumeBuilder, although, when I try to edit an error I made it says “ something went wrong…please try again” everytime I attempt to edit. I’ve also tried starting a cover letter and when I click on a certain template, the button to select it doesn’t work. Please help! :( I really liked ResumeBuilder

Does what it needs

Some features are weird, for instance. I tried to select one month from the drop down menu and it kept displaying as the previous month. To fix I had to select another month and mine would pop up.

For ex: If I was trying to enter my start date being February 2023, if I tried to select February it would display January So I would have to click on March to display February.

It was only an issue because I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out a solution without starting over.

Great APP

I have tried every app I can think of and at the end it has always prompt me to pay to be able to download or even save it. Other apps say it’s free and give you this hope in the beginning to be to able to input your information and at the end it’s just a waste of time because you are unable to download or save without paying. Now ResumeBuilder is actually free.
Only thing is I wish it had is a spelling check and able to put references.
But I still recommend it.

Very pleased!

This provides everything they say they do. I’m very pleased with the an even more please that it is free unlike a lot of apps, say that they’re free until you get on there and they ask you for money to pay for their services. And so for this has not, they have a lot of different features to offer and overall I couldn’t be more happy.

Best resume builder ever

I am so happy right now like seriously this is the first good experience I have with a a resume builder website every other one make you pay and is not as easy and is helpful . I love that it has tips . I love ResumeBuilder thank youuu I could kiss ResumeBuilder a million times the only reason I’ll get the job honestly cause of ResumeBuilder . Thankkk youuuu

Love it. Roz!

Doesn’t charge like most sites. I highly recommend using this, you won’t regret it. This is the next thing to perfect. It has examples for you just in case your mind randomly goes blank when trying to figure out certain responsibilities/ accomplishments and put it in the perfect words. Use this NOW.

Easy, Straightforward and SO HELPFUL!

ResumeBuilder is by all means helpful in helping you create your resume! It gives you a step by step, gives you examples. You get to choose the layout you want, and when you’re done filling out the information, you get the option to save the file and/or email the file FOR FREE. Thank you app!!

Finally!

Looking for work is hard enough. It is such a relief to find an app that keeps it simple and really is free. Most apps waste your time by having hidden fees before you can see or save anything you’ve created. So to be able to quickly make my resume and save it as well as email is awesome. Definitely recommend!!!

The easiest and most effective way to build a professional résumé and cover letter quickly

I haven’t had the need to update my résumé in such a long time that I had forgotten really had to do it and ResumeBuilder made it so simple and so easy and actually gave me several different examples and prompts of what to use and how to make it look this is genuinely he’s his résumé I’ve ever done hands-down is the most painless one you’re looking for way to build a great resume this will quickly stupid become your go to

Out of the game

I’m ashamed to say I was out of the loop in creating a professional resume. I haven’t had a job in a significant amount of time so I was unsure about if my resume already looked professional. Unfortunately I learned the hard way and was recommended this site. I really appreciate this site in helping me gain more confidence about how my resume looks to future employers.

Awesome Resume App

ResumeBuilder did exactly what it says it does! Helps create a professional resume in 20 min (that’s how long it took me) ResumeBuilder gives you great resume creating tips as well. When done ResumeBuilder links you to Indeed to verify phone and email then sends your resume to your verified email at no charge. Great tool if you are looking for a new job or career. Thank you creators for ResumeBuilder.

It's really free and useful

I tried some products with the slogan of free, but in the end you will have to pay to download your resume. But this product is really free. I didn't encounter any obstacles in the process of creating and exporting my resume. It is very smooth and easy to use. Resume documents can be sent to my email or sent to my mobile phone for saving, which is great. Thank you very much for this development team.

LOVEEEEE

I’m so tired of creating an entire resume only for at the end ResumeBuilder to say “ pay this and whatever” I made an account and immediately got my resume done and saved it to my files without any problems. I will say; don’t leave ResumeBuilder because your progess is saved but whatever sentence you thought you were almost done with will be gone.

This app helped me so much!

For some reason I tend to shutdown when it comes to resume writing. I grew up being great with people and it being much easier for me to talk with people about a position and my experience. Now everything tends to be online and you can’t really get information until you submit a resume. ResumeBuilder keeps the information in a format and that’s definitely a time saver for me.

Great tool with great results in minutes!

Fine tune your resume to fit each position you apply for with this great tool that will also link to your indeed account making everything streamlined and efficient more time submitting resumes and less time writing them that’s what it’s about
