I bought a Smart Gx Bottle and when it finally arrived I was excited to use it for my morning run to track my hydration. I charged it and downloaded the app. It prompted me to signup to make an account. It asked for my email, which I put in, and then my date of birth. When I tap the area to put it in the “Done” button slides to the top of the page and no other prompt shows up except for a grayed out background of the original page. There’s no keyboard, calendar, or scroll feature that shows up that allows me to put in my DOB. There isn’t even a line where I would type it as I tried to write it down in my notes and copy and paste it into the app. I’ve tried redownloading the app, restarting my phone, refreshing a new signup page and nothing will let me get past the first two steps. Very frustrating, missed my morning run trying to troubleshoot this.

I created an account but could never log in due to the same repeated error message! I tried scanning the patch without logging in and kept getting error messages every 10 seconds. It kept getting stalled out at the effort level question. I kept trying to close the app and rescan until it said the patch didn’t have enough data anymore and it was now worthless! So disappointing 😭😭😭

I used to have a Garmin, so shame on me for switching to a Coros watch. The app fails to connect to Strava. Just gets stuck in the loading screen after I enter in my credentials. I’ve validated my login info online, so I know it’s not an incorrect login.
I’m sure this is a new product and will improve over time. Still an extreme miss from the development team though, as Strava is used by a large part of the target demographic.
