Terriblest transit experience I’ve ever had! This company should educate their employees and hire people who have better App development skills.
I was at the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal and wanted to go to Newark airport. The driver told us that he only accept cash or E-ticket, we don’t have cash so we downloaded CoachUSA . But Newark Liberty International Airport is not even on the destination list, and there are 15 of ‘Port Authority Bus Terminal’ on the list, and the driver told us, “I can’t read, I don’t know” and he refused to tell us how to buy E ticket. In addition to that, there was one lady behind us, asked the driver if she can go to ATM real quick which is literally next to the bus Terminal, and the driver said:”we’ll be at airport by the time you back” which is really mean and rude!

Please fix CoachUSA. No tracking of buses. Schedules are not accurate. Just a mess. Very disappointed

CoachUSA is a great idea in theory but if the “computer” (yes that is all customer support will say) decides there is an issue with your account it blocks you from using it. No rhyme or reason, no steps to diagnose the problem & correct it just won’t let you use CoachUSA . Worse is it doesn’t tell you you’ve been selected by the “computer” to mot be allowed access to CoachUSA so they waste your time. It is absurd. Been huge supporters of commuting on public transportation for 30 years. We have never had an issue on any other app. Really disgusting with Coach USA

Seriously bad. Extremely buggy. Takes 45 minutes to properly book a ticket. Can’t add my card so every time I book a ticket I have to manually put down my cc info, no apple pay option. Multiple times I’ve tried to book a ticket and it only gets to the “see schedule” option then gives me a load screen. Right now I can’t get into my tickets and I need to take the bus tomorrow. Get a regular ticket.

I was traveling from Chicago to Madison on 02-Sep-2021 at 6:40 AM. Coach USA assigned a driver named Mr. X to the trip. He was very rude and unprofessional towards the passengers. He was literally shouting at everybody. I guess Coach USA doesn’t want their drivers to behave this way with the passengers.

One thing to remember is your drivers may have to explain same things again and again to the passengers but for passengers, it may be their first time to travel.

Hence, I request your drivers, especially to Mr. X to respect the passengers and behave professionally.

Wish I could give -ve rating to this bus company but I don’t have the option here in App store.

Jus note that no matter how big your company is, always remember to respect your passengers because they are your source of income.

CoachUSA failed when I asked it to sell me a ticket or even give me a schedule. No matter what option i selected (“buy tickets” or “schedules” or whatever) i got the same popup asking for origin and destination. In each case I supplied this information, only to receive the message “oops, something went wrong.” It sure did—maybe Coach USA needs to pay its developers more?

Was able to buy my tickets and get on board. Loved not having to stop at the ticket window and could get right in the bus.

Not impressed. You can’t select schedules by bus route which would be so much easier than typing in origin and destination. Can’t reverse the route for return schedules, and you can’t set alerts. Finally, the routs don’t interface with Moovit, which would be a nice work around for CoachUSA faults. Whoever designed this doesn’t ever commute by bus. Please look at NJ transit and copy their app.

We purchased our tickets in advance through the website, because CoachUSA hadn’t worked.
The bus stops were not easy to find at all. Their website explains where the bus stops are but that doesn’t help. And the bus didn’t come on time so we had to take Uber. We couldn’t get the refund. We’ll never use this bus company.

CoachUSA is garbage. I downloaded it to purchase a ticket and the search function only populates results while you type. As soon as you finish, no results are displayed.

After 10 minutes of trying different methods I gave up. This is pathetic and in 2021 a basic app should function.

An App should be helpful to the user. CoachUSA should allow you to search a reverse route without retyping origin and destination. To try to find the right departure from the Port Authority to your destination you must search through almost 20 departure gates. Also, get rid of the COVID message at startup. Waste of a click.

The schedule times are not accurate when comparing to the site schedules. The search features are terrible even the purchasing of a ticket is difficult. I basically had to go back to the site to do my transaction and find accurate schedules.

Unable to find the whole day schedule, it only shows three departures for a given day. Buses from port authority depart from multiple gates to my town but CoachUSA requires you search by gate for a schedule, even then it shows only three departures. This is a really really bad app.

So I bought 10 rides and after 1st ride remaining trips left 8, 1 trip is disappear. When you call they asking you leave the message so the customer service doesn’t exist, no call back no email replies. Just horrible.

I need to use this starting Feb2 to go back to office. Sadly CoachUSA doesn’t work at all. On iphone 15.2.1. Try to login- blank screen. Try to reset password - blank screen.

Are you seriously not bothering to test CoachUSA on current iphones?

CoachUSA is ridiculous I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I login it doesn’t matter it will not allow me to buy a ticket! This is ridiculous who designed this?!

I downloaded the apps and there’s nothing special about it.
You can do everything online WITHOUT the apps.
Actually when you try to fill up: “Country” in the apps gives you no option. And you can’t complete the transaction.
In the internet (not in the phone apps) everything works fine.

Besides taking space in my phone, it’s useless and defective.

After using CoachUSA my credit card was used by another one although it has been always with me.

Why is food not synched with apple pay? Extremely hard to use

Can’t even log in, app just goes to a white screen when trying to log in. Waste of time and space on the phone.

I can’t find my starting point and the schedules are wrong. Very frustrating! NJ transit app is so easy. I may go back to train just because of CoachUSA .

Won’t fully load. CoachUSA is a total pain
