Submit an order in WaffleHouseOrdering , says est. 6:15 pick up. I Arrive to store at 6:20 and no one has started the order yet. So still have to wait regardless, and because I ordered with app I’m forced to pay 10% tip but waste 20 minutes of my time in store waiting when it should’ve been completed.

I ordered a Bacon Hash Brown Bowl only to get back to my job site and find it was incorrect. I ordered the bowl with my eggs “Sunny Side Up.” They were scrambled. The extra bacon I ordered was limp and greasy. There wasn’t an option to ask for my bacon crisp. When I tried to contact the restaurant to ask them to pay attention to the orders, I was told by the VM to “order online.” There wasn’t an option to contact customer support either on WaffleHouseOrdering .

You want us to use WaffleHouseOrdering but you don’t support WaffleHouseOrdering when there is an issue. Apparently, you don’t care about our time or money.

Fix WaffleHouseOrdering or lose business.

Because of the way food is prepared here, it is essential to have a feature where you can add additional information. Especially if customizations are missing. For example, easy cook, longer cook, more crispy, sub white bread for rye or raisin bread, etc. My location no longer accepts phone orders. They don’t pick up the phone at all. There’s no way to customize my order without physically going in. I can’t order the way I want within WaffleHouseOrdering , therefore it provides no convenience and can be frustrating for the consumer. I don’t find WaffleHouseOrdering helpful or useful. Just go to your location to order, no matter your circumstance.

I just tried to place an order, using Apple Pay. The payment went through, and then WaffleHouseOrdering said there was an issue placing the order, and that I had to go order in the restaurant. So I guess I’m just out of that cash. Cool.

WaffleHouseOrdering will not load my location, my local Waffle House does not do over the phone to go orders, and when I called the number it says to use WaffleHouseOrdering to order. How can I do that if WaffleHouseOrdering won’t work itself?

The online ordering app does not include omelette. The wait was 30 minutes longer for a pick up order and the food was not hot.
I will never use WaffleHouseOrdering or go to Waffle House in Rolla MO again.
They are already having a hard time staying open; probably end up closing due to dissatisfaction. Thumbs down for sure!!!

You go in WaffleHouseOrdering and hit contact us and it’s says contact the store but stores have no phones and the only way to contact is to go in. All the ways you can customize in person or with phone ordering, no options for that in WaffleHouseOrdering , and no omelettes on WaffleHouseOrdering . You are going to kill your business with the crappy cheap app.

There are only a limited selection of items on WaffleHouseOrdering . This is now the only way to get take out from Waffle House unless you want to go sit and wait for 45+ minutes in-store for food.
Example item: biscuits and gravy, not on WaffleHouseOrdering or website. So if you have specific items you like from Waffle House, good luck, you likely will not be able to order them.

No omelet available through WaffleHouseOrdering . No personal touches regarding the order placed I.e. don’t scorch the hash browns or lite oil. Some items allow you to make it a “plate” while others don’t. No support to reach out to. Phone number to store is a voicemail message with no ability to leave feedback. No support option through WaffleHouseOrdering or online ordering. Is Waffle House going at it alone again?

I order Breakfast for my employees, trying to do something different other than breakfast burritos like I have done over and over. I figured I would call WH and place a large order to be picked up the next morning. Called phone number and received the message that they don’t take phone to go orders… OK, there’s an app for that. WaffleHouseOrdering restricted how many items I can order and doesn’t give me the option of selecting a pickup time the next day.

My local Waffle House stopped taking over the phone orders and this is the only option we have to pre order now. Breakfast food has many different variations according to peoples individual preferences. If we can’t leave notes or specify certain variations, it renders the meal UNEATABLE! Please fix. I would like to be able to specify that i want my eggs LIGHT AND FLUFFY instead of just scrambled. i want a LIGHT waffle option, and I like my grits tripple covered in cheese. I can only add one slice in WaffleHouseOrdering . 😡 Love Waffle House! WaffleHouseOrdering ……. Not so much.

It is very unfortunate that Waffle House has quit taking orders over the phone and now has this absolutely awful app.

As others have stated, there is no way to add additional information about your order. Not only that. But the menu on WaffleHouseOrdering is not equivalent to the in-person menu; it does not let you pick and choose if you’d like chili, ham, gravy, jalapeños, etc. to the hashbrown bowls.

Waffle House seriously needs to both fix WaffleHouseOrdering and start answering calls again. I love Waffle House but this is just terrible.

WaffleHouseOrdering is worthless to me. I love their ham and cheese omelette, but it’s nowhere to be found on WaffleHouseOrdering and they no longer take call in orders. The only way to get it is to order in person….which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead.

Have used WaffleHouseOrdering for multiple different waffle house location for online ordering and every time order is wrong. Don’t use WaffleHouseOrdering

WaffleHouseOrdering is confusing and doesn’t even have all the menu items. There is no Fiesta omelette at all They don’t want you to call it in and will not allow any delivery services but then you can’t order what you want on WaffleHouseOrdering . WaffleHouseOrdering is worthless

Waffle House has been out of touch with the new ways to pay for food and order food they r just now getting tap to pay in their restaurants so WaffleHouseOrdering will take 10+ years till it’s actually a fully functioning app.

There are several Waffle House restaurants in the Dayton, Ohio area. Wasted my time installing WaffleHouseOrdering . Apparently, Waffle House does not have online ordering in Dayton, Ohio.

You can not add or take away from a order.
For instance. I want a BLT with no tomato,
and add egg. There is no way to add egg.
No way to leave off the tomato.
No way to modify the order.

WaffleHouseOrdering doesn’t accommodate food allergies at all, you can’t remove ingredients that are common allergens and you can’t leave additional comments. I have a severe dairy allergy and I always get the cheesesteak hash brown bowl with no cheese but on WaffleHouseOrdering and on the website you can’t take the cheese off and there’s no way to order just the chopped steak. All of the hash brown bowls have cheese with no way to order it without it.

We wanted to call in an order and found out we had to use WaffleHouseOrdering . At first I was excited, but once in the process I realized our usual items were missing and we couldn’t specify how we wanted our hash browns we decided to eat somewhere else. I’m hoping this gets updated and becomes user friendly in the future. Waffle House is an easy go for my family and ordering Togo at away games during football season is a big tradition.

I love a good Waffle House breakfast but I’m often much too busy to stay to eat. I would gladly order takeout on a frequent basis but WaffleHouseOrdering allows for no personal preferences. For example, I wasn’t able to remove cheese from my husband’s hash brown bowl. I would also like to specify whether to make my bacon crispy or floppy. I truly believe your business would be more lucrative if your app allowed personalization. Currently, WaffleHouseOrdering is full of lost potential. Quite unfortunate for both the business and its customers!

There’s a lot more on the menu at Waffle House than you’ll see in their app. For that matter, even their usual in-store menus found in their locations don’t show many of the things that are available. And if you’ve been going there for years like I have, and know what they have to offer, the complete inability to order various things through WaffleHouseOrdering makes it useless.

And you can’t call in orders anymore either; you have to use WaffleHouseOrdering if you want to order in advance and have it ready for pickup by the time you get there.

I am very happy that you guys finally have an app but I definitely do think, as of right now, WaffleHouseOrdering isn’t all the helpful, you can only add “extra toppings” for specific things, like on my hash brown bowl, I like sausage and bacon but you can add that additionally, you can only add the specifics you guys have available. I think once those improvements are there to be able to customize your items with whatever you want and add notes to items, that is when WaffleHouseOrdering will be at its best. I am only giving a 3 star due to the fact that I hope this will be updated soon, once it is, I will be very happy to put it at 4-5 star, if the changes do not come, I will have to say that it will be put down to a 1 star.

Absolutely pathetic excuse of an App… No way to customize orders, tons of menu items missing and no way to talk to the store anymore. Come on Waffle House it’s not like you’re the first company to invent an App. I’d suggest looking at Starbucks’s or Moe’s for some inspiration. Your App looks like a high schoolers project they forgot until 10 pm the night before it was due. Way to fix a problem that didn’t exist!

I can see WaffleHouseOrdering is new so I’ll edit over time but it’s crazy there’s nowhere to edit your order anywhere on WaffleHouseOrdering . My store closest to me doesn’t take phone orders so it’s either this or go in the store and place your order and wait. You can’t take anything off and only a limited option to add. For a place that has so many customizations, that needs to be fixed for WaffleHouseOrdering to be of any use to anyone.

This review is not against the Thibodeaux waffle House. This is WaffleHouseOrdering itself. My family can order all their food except me because they do not have omelettes on the menu.

They get 2 stars because they are open all night. That’s it. The menu is rather limited and there is nowhere to request special accommodations on WaffleHouseOrdering . No one answers the phone for general inquiries and they don’t accept telephone orders. Customer service is nonexistent and a far cry from what I remember as a kid. You’d think with all the time saved by not taking phone orders or answering the phone they would have time to clean.

Please add modifications to the order. I didn’t want cheese on my Texas chicken melt and I wanted my hash browns cooked light. There was no where to add that information. Then, they claim that the order would be ready about 12 minutes after I ordered. However, I got to the restaurant and 15 minutes later and my food is still not ready. There is no sense of urgency.

This would be a great app if you could actually order your food and customize the way you can at Waffle House locations. There’s no option for a side of eggs, hashbrowns, etc. You can’t order an omelet on WaffleHouseOrdering at all. They implemented WaffleHouseOrdering that is less than perfect, and also made it to where you can no longer call the store to order! Please please make WaffleHouseOrdering more reflective of the actual Waffle House menu and experience in stores. There are already upcharges for ordering online, and yet you can’t even order what you truly want.

There is no place to type in additional information for your order. I’d like to have my hashbrowns crispy and just downloaded the site for the first time expecting to be able to make my order and drive to pick it up. But now I just have to go to the location to place my order so WaffleHouseOrdering does not provide any benefit for me until there’s a feature where you can write in how you would like particular items to be prepared.

WaffleHouseOrdering is functional, but without a place to add additional comments or details, a lot of times my order is incorrect. I, then, show up at Waffle House and they remake the food, which is a waste of time and resources — if there was a comment section in WaffleHouseOrdering then this wouldn’t be occurring. There is also no place in WaffleHouseOrdering to customize your meal. Please update WaffleHouseOrdering, so we can enjoy our food in a timely manner!

There's no Omelette in the menu options for WaffleHouseOrdering ! What's up with that? Order on WaffleHouseOrdering should be the same simple process as ordering in the restaurant. A little ways to go I perfecting this. Great idea for late night.

Overall good , it’s a start. The look needs a little tweaking and a rewards feature should be added to encourage more people to use WaffleHouseOrdering and eat more Waffle House. My boyfriend personally loves Waffle House and we are always there so having a rewards system would help me save money too!

I love WaffleHouseOrdering for the most part but I need to be able to customize the hashbrowns and waffles. Maybe there should be a place for notes. Or create something similar to the egg options to say whether you want your waffle light or dark and your hashbrowns light or crispy.

This menu app forces customers to call in or come to the counter to order; just the thing that WaffleHouseOrdering wants suppose to eliminate! When a customer phones in, they don’t have a menu to look at so it wastes the time of the counter staff to write down the order. When a customer gives the order at the counter, the staff must give the customer time to look through the menu then take the order; by expanding the menu selections, such as adding the pork chops & eggs favorite or senior citizens/ children menu to WaffleHouseOrdering , it frees up valuable time from the counter staff as well as giving a detailed explanation of what the customer ordered. BTW, the current menu doesn’t even give egg/ meat/ hash browns or waffle cooking options!

The improvements to online ordering are leagues ahead of the old app. Thanks for the good updates. It probably took me a minute to order whereas before it was probably like 3 or 4 min and a lot of headache.

I get off work at 11:00pm, & the Waffle House near my work isn’t 24 hours. It’s in a bad part of St Petersburg, FL full of bums, crackheads, & hookers. After midnight the security guard locks the door, & they only serve from the walk up window. So when I need my Waffle House fix, I order before I leave work, & it’s ready by time I get there. Much better than calling in the order.

I don’t see what’s up with all these bad ratings with WaffleHouseOrdering . It had the full menu as well as custom made food. Had all kinds of options on how you like your eggs, your bacon or your hashbrowns. Very well, organized and food was prepared right on time when I showed up. food was prepared very well and delicious.
