It would be better if this was never made.

Why release a program that is so buggy.

Rescan never works, audio meters are empty.

This has been my issue for the past 3 years, regardless of the firmware.

Our worship team always has issues. I would suggest not getting the WING, because of the failure of WINGQ & poor customer service.

You need a major networking background in hopes it will work.

Can’t use IP from different VLAN

WINGQ absolutely will not allow you to connect to a console on a different VLAN (with inter-VLAN routing enabled). Will have to go back to using Mixing Station.

When more than two users if kicks you off the board

We have a 9 person band and if two connect to the board it slows and then kicks you off.

Awful app. Also everything is Soooo small.

Phone Battery rapidly drains !!! Please fix!!!

With in two hours of using app, Phone get completely drain. Please fix!!! Never had this issue with other digital consoles. Having to use a completely different digital mixer for in-ears because bad cannot rely on WINGQ to adjust sound on in-ears.

Never should have been released from QA

After using the great apps for the x32 with smooth responsive responsive control, WINGQ is a serious travesty.

Even on an iPhone Max, the volume controls are minuscule and a nightmare to use outside of a live setting. I can’t even conceive of using this in the middle of a show.

With the number of stereo monitor mixes you can build on a wing making it feasible to run ian entire band on in-ear monitors, The wing needs a monitor app as simple to use on any size phone as the options for the X and M series consoles.

This feels like it was built and tested for an iPad then simply scaled down without any consideration for how unreadable and unusable the interface became.

Doesn’t connect to the Console

We had a nightmare this weekend trying to use the WING-Q app for personal IEM monitoring for our musicians. This was our first week using the WING and because of our setup restrictions, we couldn’t test and troubleshoot the in-ear monitoring system prior to implementation.

WINGQ simply wouldn’t connect to the board no matter what we tried, with the exception of a few people who did get connected and then kicked off after about 10 minutes. The manual setup button doesn’t work at all and it doesn’t find the board when it scans. You could click the little yellow link in the error message to enter the IP manually, but it still wouldn’t find the console. What is the point of WINGQ existing if it can’t connect to the specific board it is designed to work with.

We ended up with half our band just pulling out their in-ears in frustration and going without. It was a disaster.

And before you think we had a wireless network issue, a couple of people have paid for and use Mixing Station and had no problem whatsoever connecting to the console.

Unsupported

Several on our church worship team have been using WINGQ for the past five months. I was never truly happy with it compared to the one we previously used but that’s not the main point. We cannot use it at all now! Apparently there was an “upgrade” three weeks ago. This upgrade caused the individual settings to disappear. We’re not able to access the mix from WINGQ And therefore the sound technician is having to mix individually for several people. This defeats the whole purpose of WINGQ . Please fix this!!! I know that there are thousands of people also frustrated with this. I am not the only one. Your company was contacted three weeks ago and nothing has changed. Very unhappy with customer service.

Broken

Latest update seems to have broken being able to connect to the console. I can ping it from anywhere on my network, yet no device will connect, even when typing the IP in manually

Battery Killer

Behringer is so slow on updating their apps and neglect their customers after they sold you their products. I’ve been waiting for them to fixed battery drainage issues since day one. Definitely will not but their product in the future

Please fix!

The size of the user interface is wayyyy to small. It hasn’t been a pleasurable experience to use WINGQ and I am ashamed to tell my team that this is what they have to use now after using the MX-Q app for our X32. Also like others have said, it drains your phone battery sooo fast

App connectivity

Struggle to get app to connect. Other phones connect no problem. iPhone 11 Pro Max It connects sometimes but most times it won’t connect. No matter how many refreshes. Could be a router issue but like I said sometimes it works, most times it doesn’t. No matter how much we reset and refresh stuff.

Used to be great…

Since the 1.4 update, none of my team can connect to our board. Every time we try to select our board, it says “Connected. Getting Data.” And then crashes seconds later to start all over.

Drains battery

It works okay for me. Connects fine as well. However the faders are really small and hard to make small adjustments. And worse yet it drains the battery on your phone so fast! Hopefully this will be changed with an update soon.

Connectivity issues

WINGQ has a really hard time connecting to the wing console. Once it does WINGQ works fine but still it could be a lot better.

I hope behringer reads this and puts in a little more effort in making it a great experience while using WINGQ.

Needs work

Our church just “upgraded” to a new board, and I’ve used WINGQ for the last few weeks.

The following came out of a review from 2021, which are still the biggest issues today.

- The faders are very small, which make it difficult to use.

- It drains the battery very quickly and overheats the phone.

What I don’t understand is why haven’t these issues been addressed?

Usability and power management are the top 2 priorities for any app.

Improvements needed

The faders are very small, which makes it difficult to use.

It drains the battery very quickly and overheats the phone.

Allen & Heath’s monitor mixer app is much better. I would suggest looking at their software as one to imitate. The faders are much larger, and you can scroll through instead of having to page through fader banks.

Needs a lot of improvement

User interface is weak (buttons/ setup unclear) and it drains your battery crazy fast. I went from 90% to 4% during one church service and I still have another service to play through!

Disappointing

I wish it didn’t allow whoever to edit the names of Buses.. it doesn’t give the availability to let all band members login without the possibility of accidentally editing everything

A few improvements please?

Could WINGQ for mobile have larger faders? Just put more side bars to click through all the channels?

Otherwise, the connectivity isn't bad with a good wireless router. I also find it helpful to connect to the board if you put your phone one airplane mode and connect to the board wifi independently. This way your phone doesn't drain battery searching for signal and it isolates your connection

Usual lousy support from Music Tribe

Wow, WINGQ hasn’t been updated in a year and I’m guessing it doesn’t support the latest WING firmware. What a joke. I expected it to be bad and barely work, but while our console shows up, it won’t connect no matter how many times I tap it or enter the IP address manually. As disappointing as it is to have to pay for third part apps, Mixing Station is far superior to any app Music arrive has put out.

Update: I was able to connect after a few more tries. I’m willing to give it a chance, but there are a lot of problems. The faders are tiny and it only works in landscape mode. It would be great if you could have four faders while holding your phone vertically for more control. Also, you should be able to swipe between fader banks instead of hunting for a little button. The whole point of an app like this is to allow musicians to make quick adjustments on the fly, and WINGQ should be designed with that as the priority.
