Tone Studio Photo Vid Editor Reviews

Downloaded the free trial today and was excited to use it to edit my iPhone videos after my shoot this morning. Applied the DR3 filter which looks dreamy but every time I tried to save the file on to my phone it keeps crashing. I tried saving for story and it does the same. App doesn’t work so far.... This is a complete waste of an app.
Great features, but useless because you cannot save the video or share it.
It gives you the options to, but loading it for saving or sharing takes a more ridiculous amount of time than you can reasonably sit and wait. You cannot leave ToneStudioPhotoVidEdit... Show more or or let your phone close during the “download” or it will just stop and you’ll have to restart and wait again. I literally sat by my phone for 10 minutes making sure it wouldn’t get disrupted. Looked away for a split second. My phone closed. The 75% save was completely lost and just said “save complete” without actually saving. This is almost April 2022. Don’t waste your time

ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor is great i love it I have had it for over a year. However, it always crashes whenever i want to save a photo or video to my camera roll once I've completed all my editing. First I paid for monthly and after a few weeks the premium features were locked then I paid annual and now the premium features are locked again. Can’t find a support email. Super disappointing.

Presets are amazing and I would buy to get access to all of them but the interface is broken. When I try to select a photo it ends up selecting a random photo before that or something I’ll get the same photo for 3 in a row when I try to choose one. Great performance, presets, and output but a few gaping holes for an image editing app that currently holds a “4.9” star rating:

1. You cannot crop an image
2. You cannot rotate an image (arbitrary or set rotation)
3. You cannot copy/paste edit settings between images (correct me if I’... Show more m wrong?)
4. Edits appear to be permanent. I.e. once saved out to camera roll you have to start a new edit on same image vs. continuing with previous edit settings.

To be fair, I prefer the looks and output from ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor vs. VSCO, however for something trying very clearly to replace VSCO on people’s phones, these (at least the first two) are required features.

I love ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor so much, it’s great for traveling or posting pics quick on the go. Just a small issue - there is a bug that whenever I click on a picture it’s shows a picture a few behind on the roll, so I always need to press on a different picture to get to the one I actually wan... Show more t to edit. When editing a bunch of pics at the same time it gets quiet annoying. Should fix this bug.

I’m diggin ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor, but it has a serious issue loading my camera roll into ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor . After selecting photos, I have to close ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor and reopen it for them to appear. I wish there was an option to show my entire camera roll versus have to select ... Also, any time I save a photo after editing, it saves 2-4 copies of it. Not sure why.

ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor is really amazing and full of tons of options for presets. I love the new added feature of being able to edit pictures now and not just videos! I was looking for an app that has adobe premier capabilities but free for a while. I came across ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor and figured I’d give it a try. It’s awesome. Never buggy. ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor always saves my videos. Never has any problems. Only potential improvement would be the slid... Show more ers to be more accurate with numbers that make sense. Been looking for the perfect app with attractive filters and color manipulators for videos and this knocked everything out the park! Amazing work, definitely will use frequently!

Have never been able to edit my videos like this. So simple to use and my videos are so much more fun. Love this so much.

These filters are the best and easy to use. You can use a few that come with ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor or unlock most of the better ones with a monthly or yearly subscription.

I have been using VSCO for years and I already prefer ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor for video editing. It’s quick, intuitive, and the filters are stunning. Can’t wait to use it for all my video editing!

ToneStudioPhotoVidEditor is great for taking shots on your iPhone and quickly doing some editing that is also of high cinematic quality. Finally an app that gets concept of quick but beautiful video editing.

Must-have app! Clean design, easy to use - and the video presets are gorgeous. I love the fact there is HSL & tone curves for precise color editing. Also, a CMYK tone curve? How cool is that!

Too expensive and the filters doesnt work properly with my videos.
