i’ve been trying to use this app for the past six months,I think they stopped developing it as I haven’t seen any improvements. As the other reviews indicate this app is so broken it’s not even funny, and completely unusable in my opinion. Is this an indication of how Bosch values their products an... Show more d customers? I don’t know how this stays in the App Store. Do we need a measuring device with Bluetooth when there’s no respectable app to go with it? I think the feature that bothers me the most is the inadequate ability to export your work. You can export each image individually, as long as that takes, but the arrows and text you draw in the image isn’t scaled with the size of the image or the zoom factor. What you end up with is an image where the arrows and text all cram together and overlap each other making all your measurements worthless because you can’t separate them out or read them In the picture. When you’re working with the image and taking measurements you can zoom the picture and the arrows and text scale with the picture so everything looks fine. It’s not until you go to export the image that you discover all the time you spent measuring was a complete waste. There are no options to export an entire project and no options to control the zoom level of the measurements in the image when you export it.

The biggest problem I see so far is the drawing tools. They work OK for large rooms but if you have any details like pop out in the wall that are only a few inches long it’s nearly impossible to zoom in far enough to enter the information. Also drawing in new walls becomes a great hassle because it doesn’t always connect to the last node and you end up with a bunch of random unconnected walls on your drawing. These walls cannot be deleted until you enter information in them or hit the undo button multiple times deleting needs to be easier.I realize screen real estate doesn’t allow for a lot of tools but they should all be kept in the same pallet draw and measure are a good start but add edit with a selection tool to select existing nodes without drawing new ones and being able to delete them. Also having an undo button and a back button on the same screen is confusing. Change the back button to home or to done. You spent a lot of money creating this app it just needs to be fine tuned with some customer feedback.

Regardless of operating system or device I sync my Bosch GLM 50 C to, the software does not work. Repeatedly measured a square room and it kept giving me an error, the walls were uneven. Display numbers were equal on all sides. Did not work. Manually entered numbers and it’s still saw the walls as ... Show more unequal. Could not give wall space, floor space, volume etc. The ability to use the software it was the only reason I purchased the laser tool. Now will have to return. Tech support was awful as well, text response after 24 hours. I asked my question and never got an answer. They did thank me for using tech-support and considered the matter closed in minutes.
