Advertised as free, but the free version is basically worthless. Ads pop up everywhere (including one offering a subscription to the ad-free version of Remote for $6.99 a month), even obscuring important parts of the user interface. Ads are often hard to get rid of without clicking on Remote , this opening whatever it is linked to. And Remote recognizes my TV but won’t actually control it. I understand freemium apps, but most of them actually offer reasonable functionality and don’t just exist to show ads.

Couldn’t find how to contact developer outside of Facebook messenger.

Does the premium subscription allow Remote to always stay connected to my TV or do i still need to select the TV every time i open Remote to use it?

I realize that Samsung should release Remote for their devices the same way Roku does, etc. I appreciate someone trying to fill the need. But Remote doesn't work for me after 30 minutes of trying. It’s essentially a photo of a Samsung this app that shows you unlimited ads while trying to connect to the TV via your network. Even if it worked, the annual cost of around $25 seems a bit high for what it is.

After you download there is an add at the bottom of the this app, appears between other ads, that says ONE TIME PURCHASE remove adds. I clicked on it. Spent the money then upon reopening it is asked me what monthly subscription I wanted to use the this app.

I am trying to figure out how to get my money back or if there is something I did wrong. One of these mentioned the developer responded to their message. Please let me know what to do. Thanks

How do I have to pay for this stupid app that I can’t even use since I lost my this app I can’t allow access from my tv so I bought this faulty crap that if I had the this app to allow access I would t need Remote for when I lose the this app and just to be charged for it on top just to not be able to use it or even be able to find a way to cancel and get my money back... I feel scammed

Unable to connect to my new Samsung TV. I lost my physical this app and Remote says it is “unable to connect” although it finds it in the device drop down box when attempting to pair. Another this app I tried to pair asked me to give permission on my TV. Maybe that is the problem. Although my TV just sits on the idle screen. I cannot give permission Bc I cannot select anything due to lost physical this app.

Use exclusively on two different sony tv's, one from 2016 and one from 2018. Works seamlessly on both and app lets me swap between the two.

There was no trial period option so you have to buy it to find out how bad it is. This this app loses connection whenever the phone locks. Fast button presses don’t register on the tv. The this app will only connect if the TV is on. After an update to the TV I need another this app to allow access to this this app.

Kudos to the developer for building something of quality and not being greedy.

So at first glance Remote appears to be cool. Especially when the first sentence or so into the developers description claims that Remote is entirely free to use. So I download it and open it thinking alright that was easy enough, before I was even using the whatsoever an un-closable window pops up asking for money to use Remote !!! WTH?!?! So unfortunately my search for an honest app wages forward.

After trying many apps, finally this one worked! Thanks

I think the developers have been trying to make something really worthy and workable.

I use it for a long time, you know it's convenient when it's always with me

Had to get an app because buttons came off a this app less than 6 months old and then have commercials and limited use from the free version. Makes me want to get a different tv. Remote for fire tv is free. I might get a special fire or rocky box so I can turn channels. So disappointed in the Samsung this app app.

I think it is a good app because I couldn’t find my this app and I threw my old one away.

Gives you multi tv control, supports many brands, has all functions, and best part is its all free!

Been through so many of these kinda apps, love that this one works so easily.

They got a pretty steep cost
want $30 a year for a this app control
and you can’t even get to the connection of the TV
It keeps flipping to another page for an ad upon ad where you can’t possibly have a finger small enough to hit the X

sometimes doesn't connect to tv, and please remove comercials from bottom screen, it's in the way of the tv this app or shorten the this app to fit the screen along with the ads

This is the best tv this app app like all the other app you will have to enter the TV ID and stuff which was difficult for me to find but Remote connects by WiFi and it is amazing it is so nice and it is too good .

Love Remote. Its hard at first to find the right button on the phone in order to get it working for the tv this app but all in all. It is a really great app and easy to use for the tv.

Remote is really easy to use , I had to install it because my tv this app ran out of batteries. My phone does not have an IR blaster so I thought I would not work.

I've attempted to use many other tv this app apps and this one is by far the best. Easy setup and just as well cos the original this app is now missing.

Works great! Downloaded and connected to my TV in less than one minute. I'm not exaggerating. Our puppy thinks the tv this app is a toy and I have it held together with tape.
