CBSBoston is TERRIBLE! The text does not scroll properly and there are many gaps, which supposedly are for intolerably large advertisements. The videos do not properly load and, for the most part, never display! What a terrible waste! Have you ever actually tried to view any story on your app????????????? If you have then you would not enjoy the experience! Shame on you! A “news app” which does not function properly cannot be used to access the news!!!

On the iPad, it displays in portrait mode only in iPhone mode. I hope they update to correct this. Also it does not have an intuitive interface.

Worst news app there is. Few updates. Old news. Hello WCVB goodby WBZ. You use to be the best now your at the absolute bottom of news information. I guess WBZ. No longer cares for Boston.

The previous version was much better. No landscape view only portrait. A complete waste of time.

This “upgrade” is terrible! CBSBoston it replaced was better. It’s got to be fixed! And it should have weather on it...not bring me to safari fir the weather!

CBSBoston is clunky. Scrolling hardly ever works, stalls out constantly, and causes my phone to jam up. Can’t believe there’s been no update. Not even worth using.

What the heck is CBS owned and operated thinking? Showing iPhone app on iPad, weather taking you to a web page? What a cheap piece of junk. Return to the old app no matter how much it costs.

Folks I truly enjoyed my WB app easy to read and to the point . Must be a new marketing or production person .
My preferred site for years , not anymore !

Crashes often. Cannot go from one need article to the next without going back first.
Did anyone try CBSBoston before it was launched?
CBSBoston is terrible. Very unstable!

Old app was much easier to navigate. Could just swipe to get to the next story. Now have to go back to home page to click on next story. Go back to the old one please!!!!!!

Keeps randomly crashing on my iPhone after a few seconds of being open. I hope this gets fixed because the old app worked but had terrible outdated content.

The Wbz app and website are horrible. Loaded with so many junk ads that interrupt and overtake the screen, you can never just read a 3 sentence news blurb without a bunch of ads interfering and causing the site to crash. The worst!

CBSBoston is a big downgrade from the old app. I only check fake news apps for the weather and the weather section now just launches the website in safari. I don’t need an app for that since I could just go to the website myself. Uninstalling....

The old app worked great until it stopped working unless you did latest update. This newer app is 2 steps backwards. Only shows in portrait mode on iPad, where older iteration worked in landscape mode flawlessly. CBSBoston is set up for iPhone style only. Really disappointed.

I agree with other reviews. How was CBSBoston even released with the lagging and hanging it causes, not just in CBSBoston but on my phone. I liked the old one better. This needs to be fixed ASAP or else I can’t use CBSBoston on my phone. Terrible quality control.

I can't understand how CBSBoston was released.
I tapped the More... and it took 7 seconds to open. Switching the tabs on the bottom took over 1 second.
I thought maybe it just didn't work with iOS 12 on an old iPhone, so I loaded it on my iPad.
It came up sideways, because it doesn't resize when the iPad is in landscape orientation.
Deleted app.

Mobile app no longer includes national and world news. I’m not going to check 2 different cbs apps for my news. Time to switch to the abc or nbc local apps! Why did you destroy the old app?
