Ad for QuickBooks making this app unusable

Worked fine at first, yes the advert upon app launch is annoying but you could X out of it after 5 secs or so, but now it launches with an ad for Quick Books which covers the whole screen with no way to X out of it. I tried quitting the app multiple times, and even installed QuickBooks, but I am still unable to get into this Money Managing app because of this dumb annoying ad every time I try to launch the app. Uninstalling both this and QuickBooks to find an alternative.
