For what it costs it’s not worth it.

If I could click only one of the points of the star to rate PaxtonKey I would. When you try to get in our office with PaxtonKey , it’s pulling up the Apple Wallet instead of letting me in. Enough people are having the same problem to where it should be fixed by now!

It says there was an update, included are patch notes on what was fixed, however, this just simply isn’t true. There is no watch functionality and the smart credential option now seems to take long to proc the reader to allow entry.

Super annoying to be told that PaxtonKey can be used in the background, but when I’ve got my hands full and try to use that feature to open the door- it pulls up my apple wallet! I have to open PaxtonKey every single time.
Almost inoperable

Rarely ever works properly, just opens the Apple Wallet. I’ve even tried opening PaxtonKey itself to open the door and still to no avail. I’ve been left in the cold waiting on coworkers to unlock the door. Please fix for the love of god.
Why?

When I try to use this on the Bluetooth door scanner, my iPhone keeps asking me to use Apple Pay credit card. Bugged.

My apartment complex made us set up PaxtonKey for access to amenities and it hasn’t worked once.
Ruins Apple Pay…

…and then, when I turned off “background” it didn’t work on the door when in foreground.
My bank let me reverse the “payment” that went to no one.
Can you not get this in Apple Wallet?

Works 50% of the time

So many issues with PaxtonKey. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. One day it decided that it would not work unless I inputted the original 20?digit registration code again… whaaa?! Who keeps their original registration code? If I could give it zero stars I would.

Thanks for making feel safe with 32 digits but maybe a QR code would be more user friendly??
App keeps checking me in after being closed and getting access.

I love using PaxtonKey to check in and get access to the building, however even though I close PaxtonKey after being granted access and I’ve disabled run in the background it keeps checking me in repeatedly.
The only way I can stop the behavior is to reboot my phone.
Doesn’t work on Apple Watch

It works on my phone just fine, but not on my watch. When I open PaxtonKey on the watch, it just says “no credential”. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PaxtonKey on the watch multiple times and did the same with the iPhone app.
