I really like KeyTuner and think it’s excellent however I did not want to put a rating in at this time but the rating screen kept coming up like an annoying mosquito you swat away with your hand. Each time I had to put down my cello bow and tap”NOT NOW”even though I hit not now several times it became so annoying that I decided to give it 2 stars and write this review based on the fact that you have to rate KeyTuner to use it for more than 30 seconds. I would expect that from a free app but I actually paid for this one.

I like it. For performers of early music, it would be useful to set it to different temperaments.

Using it on an iPad, what I don’t like is that the screen goes blank asit normally does but there should be a means from KeyTuner to keep KeyTuner open while trying to play notes.

I’m very happy with this tuner. I makes tuning my violin much easier than my old tuner. The lightning mode helps with my intonation.

Does this tuner works to tune a kalimba?

Super easy to use, and very accurate, amazing tuner

I’ve tried several tuners, but this seems to be best. It can hear the strings on an electric bass with the sound off. It can tell what note you’re playing and get you in tune quickly. But the best is the 2 tuner meters operating in parallel. One is for fine tuning to a cent, and the other is ballpark 3 cents. Just a brilliant idea, I never want to go back to a single meter.

This is an awesome tuner, but the only thing I have an issue with is that the letter keys to audibly hear the sound are not transposed. In Alto Sax mode (Eb), when I tap the A# key, it is audibly playing a G. However, the microphone is synced up with the correct key; when I play a G note, it displays the G. I’ve tried adjusting settings and have not found a solution to this issue. Please fix this, and I will change my review to 5 stars because I like KeyTuner, but I want to love it! 😊

Settings for different instruments, cents ranges can be set, other great options. Highly recommended by a retired piano tuner and band director.

This tuner is clean simple and extremely accurate . It’s has a lot of options and is well laid out for ease of use.

KeyTuner is really good! It’s become my go to app for tuning. It’s amazing that it’s free and works works better than others I’ve paid for.

I tried several apps to help me tune my piano. This one was the best in that the needle didn’t jump all over. It was really easy to see and use.

Found an OLD Wurlitzer piano in the garbage. I never tuned a piano in my life, but thought I would give it a try. Found KeyTuner and it worked perfectly! I am now playing with a great TUNED piano. Saved me hundreds

This tuner is amazing! I’m very impressed with the speed, ease, and accuracy. My iPhone worked seamlessly with the piano. It’s a must have!!!

Really handy for my piano, and saved me from calling the Tuner. KeyTuner is fast, and intuitive to use. The range is impressive. And I will try it with violin next. Nice touch with the dark theme mode.
