Need to fix some problem with the app !

I created an account and first I could log in, but when I tried to sign in back again it keep saying that there is not an account with my e-mail address. So, I created another account and when I tried to put the info that it ask you to put and still it keep saying the info I put is not right and I called the DHS and they told me the info I put was right that they don’t know what is not letting link my case to my account. So, they gave me another page that I can go and from that page I was able to link my account to my ebt-card . They send me a temporary password to my e-mail and I was able to have access to my case. But, then I went back to DistrictDirect and sign in with my user name and new password and is still don’t letting me access through the dc access app only I’m able to access to my account through the dhs page on line .

Lazy employees

These people are 100% the most lazy people in Washington DC history I’m not about to get into how many times I my certification and they didn’t check it but now they’re not checking DistrictDirect as well but get this I’ve been eligible for a 12 month certification periods and my next one isn’t until next year but they sent me one yesterday when I’m not supposed to do a mid-certification right now I really wish you old disgruntled windbags get yourself together and as of right now sep. 28th the system is down and can’t call in

SNAP & TANF

Happy Thursday, Happy holidays, I am a single mom and struggling at the moment and my SNAP and TANF situation was supposed to go back to normal. Some on has intentionally delayed my cases & with out fairness because they didn’t bother to check the proof -verification on DistrictDirect … who ever was looking at my cases from DistrictDirect … they have not viewed my verifications for my recertification for SNAP & TANF. I was told that I would receive Snap and TANF on time by Kelly as a change will be put onto DistrictDirect & from multiple people, like Titi, and Trice and , but DistrictDirect is stating that my cases are closed.

They need to create a better app

I have been trying to get my insurance for my wife and myself for, almost 2 years.
Every time I call them, they always say I am under my parents and stuff.
I no longer with my parents since I am 26 and I can’t even verify my information in DistrictDirect . Always say they can’t find my information.

Seriously how I am going to submit an application, if they can’t even verify me in DistrictDirect . Tried putting my ssn, tried putting my Medicaid number, doesn’t work.

They don’t want to help you at all. Does the worker even know that they work for the people and they can loose their job for not helping needy people.

I wish it was easy to use. Even it’s hard to use, I wish there was a way you can directly contact technical service to resolve your issue in terms of verifying you in DistrictDirect or not..

It seems like if you submitted the application but you never verified ..then they won’t received the application.

It’s crazy..I am just gathering documentation and recording whoever I talk on the phone. Just so that even I have to court, I can show them.

No updates

I’ve been getting the same letter every month this because no one in the agency is checking my verifications that I have continuously uploaded to DistrictDirect . I’ve uploaded several documents. I’ve been told repeatedly that my verifications will be taken care of. I’ve been to the agency in person numerous times with promises being made that my verifications will be updated by the agency and nothing is ever done. Your employees are sorely lacking in their official capacity and there seems to be no support or supervision forthcoming.

Just call

There are updates stating minor bug fixes when there are major bugs that need to be addressed for DistrictDirect to be useful. Otherwise there is no need to have an app and inquiries could be addressed more effectively on a standard website or call center. There are too many issues to list so I’ll begin with a few and perhaps update later…

1) Despite what they say DistrictDirect does not show updated status of your application unless you’ve withdrawn.

2) Speaking of withdrawals. If you have withdrawn, the document requests for that program should be removed otherwise it’s confusing not only to the applicant but the representatives in the call center. There is no way of telling if the delay is because they are awaiting documents that they don’t need.

3) minor bug…I’ve saved my login info as with most apps and websites however you have to go through extra unnecessary steps digging into your pw to login. Something is wrong there. It won’t come up automatically.

Please stop dire

The platform needs to be in the 21st century (hard to navigate Not user friendly!)

Bad enough reps take forever to process apps. This platform took over an hour for me to reset the password, very outdated technology! We need to have a better tech team as well as a modern platform. The tech team doesn’t get back to you, they are slow and you’re lucky if they resolve things. The whole platform is unnecessarily cumbersome DC would save money by changing this poor quality “App” please step it up. Tech is horrible and completely unresponsive when it comes to fixing bugs as well as turn around time when we are given time limits for applications.

Terminate Medicaid

After several phone calls and spending hours with your app online and utilizing your app, I still don’t know how to terminate my coverage because I moved. I updated my address and now it is out of state. But I still don’t know how to terminate my coverage. I’ve never seen such a site that doesn’t provide you any support, nor have even a function to say help for terminating your account. Very frustrated

App bugs and minor adjustments

Everything worked fine until I couldn’t log into my account. Also I cannot provide proof that my dependent lives in the same household as me and she is a newborn baby I don’t understand if she’s on my case file why she’s being counted in someone else’s household. Please make it more reliable when it comes to proof you can submit and or documentation you can provide for certain things.

Please update my access to my app

I recently submitted an application for for snap benefits and cannot upload my requested documents. I’ve also received letters from you guys indicating that you received my application but DistrictDirect is not updated, I can’t even attach my open Medicaid case using my Medicaid number or my Social Security number.

Help

Password trouble

I tried to reset my passcode and never got an email. Finally resolved the issue days later through finding a saved password on my computer. Resetting passwords is a basic function: do better.

Please fix the “Notices” tab

Love DistrictDirect it’s easy to use and convenient. There are a few bugs that need to be fixed. I cannot view my notices for my case. It keeps telling me to try again later. I have a recertification coming up and need to be able to view the tab in order to get facts about my case. Please help

Keep your head up

I agree with other reviewer. This is outstanding, we really need to take advantage of technology. Some times things are forced on us. But overall standing in the lines was a bit outdated and didn’t really make you feel good, personally. Thanks for implementing this and please don’t change anything and send people back to those lines unnecessarily.

In this together!

DistrictDirect is amazing. Everything you need is here! No more going to the “building.” Long lines and attitudes are no more. And everything actually works and uploads. The workers actually will call you if there is a problem with your paperwork or application. 10 stars!

Everything been perfect until recently

I’ve been having trouble trying to upload documents these last few months it was just working fine not to long ago….. I can say the trips down Dhs has been quite speedy… Would hope everyone in the district is utilizing and taking advantage of this opportunity!!!! Please fix this bug

App can be way better

DistrictDirect is trash. Doesnt track applications submitted online. The “new” app isn’t nothing but a new logo and same garbage content that doesn’t provide enough information about your case and or the progress of your application. This just feels like a new way for DC to divert people from coming into their offices and or handling the messy process of seeking assistance. Do better and stop wasting money on low budget app development. What are you really doing with those pandemic funds, Bowser??

Medical coverage recertification

DistrictDirect made it very easy to renew my coverage. I was able to log in from my cell phone and complete everything in about 15 minutes. So easy. Much easier than filling out paperwork.

Viewing notices

This feature is not working properly. When I click on view notices it says try again! over & over again. This is happening every day.

Very convenient app and easy to use

DistrictDirect is great. Easy to understand and use. Will help me to provide requested documents more quickly. Thank you! Would give 100 stars if possible!

THANK YOU

If your a DC resident you know the first and last thing when it comes to resources we’re the statement H street LINES. Now with Covid taking a turn on our lives. DistrictDirect has become my go to and SO helpful with navigating the resources I need right from home. a true blessing.
