Very bad instructions on some of the puzzles. Gets really annoying trying to figure them out. Towards the end you have to have crystals and mirrors to get the beam to go point in a certain direction. When you get one side done and then you almost get the other side done everything gets screwed up. They do not put that in the instructions though. So stupid and annoying to the point I am about to give all of their games a one star review!! Other than that, it is an ok game.

There’s a puzzle that says it has an easy and a hard mode but there does not seem to be a way to switch the difficulty? Supposedly in “easy” mode the disk moves however many spaces, and in “hard” it moves a limited number of spaces, but it seems to be stuck in hard mode and it is impossible to solve the puzzle. Only 5/8 of the pieces can be put in the right places, but since you have to move 2 pieces at once, the last 3 are unable to be put in their place

I paid $3 for this game and I am having issues with some of the mini puzzles, pieces will not budge at all. I’m struggling just on one piece then having to reset it several times. Frustrating!

I enjoyed this game until the very end, for whatever reason you can back out of the final “boss battle” puzzle but then there is no way to re-engage the puzzle! So hooray played till the end but I can’t beat b/c of a massive developer oversight on a supposed “remaster”. Good game otherwise but be extra careful otherwise no ending which is super lame!

I really enjoy these games. I have run into a problem with the puzzles in the bonus game, they don’t work properly. For example the key puzzle one of the bolts does not respond/move for proper placement to complete the puzzle. Same with the plates puzzle. Very frustrating as you then have to spend money to b7 enough hints to be able to skip. I hope this gets fixed. Thank you

This has a good story line but the item menu is hard to use as it is is exactly in the same place where we click to move backward. The hidden items menu are also an issue as they are very faint and the menu boxes closes while searching for hidden items

I was incredibly excited for a new puzzle game and at first glance I thought I’m truly going to enjoy this. Well I found out that any puzzle I really struggled with, there wasn’t any findable assistance. I wasn’t able to change the difficulty setting on this version?? I absolutely love the premise. Just wish I could’ve made it past the first “level”.

The interface is buggy. Key in the bonus round needs adjusting to unlock door but the touch doesn’t correspond to buttons. I had to press to the right of the controls to adjust the key. Voices in bonus cut scene are too soft. Also, as much as I like the game, I am knocking off a star because your game said bonus was 2.99 but when I went to pay, it was 3.99. I also tried setting up account with developer but that didn’t change the price and I wasn’t given the promised 15 coins. Other than these, I would give the game 5 stars.

Update: I got my bonus coins credited on the next game I played from this developer.

Good story (as long as you ignore that the murderer passes up every opportunity to kill you, the protagonist). Just the right amount of hang onto an item until later, or go back several screens to use a new item (easy to remember what you needed for what). Some hidden object items required additional steps to locate within the frame, and that is an enjoyable mechanic.

Lock pick in bonus chapter is impossible until you discover the hit boxes for some of the buttons are misplaced (bug, not an intentional challenge).

For the genre, this is really well executed. Puzzles are logical and you aren’t overwhelmed with inventory. At any one time there are only a handful of locations to keep track of. Hidden object scenes are well done too, more interactive and more variety than many other games in the genre.

The controls aren’t always well suited for iPhone. I need to turn the brightness way up to figure out what to look for in hidden object scene. Having important game play elements right at the bottom of the screen (IE. Text for hidden objects, and the main inventory) causes problems. I either couldn’t read it because the iOS bar covered it or I’d constantly bring up the iOS task switcher when trying to select an item. Also some of the contrast in the text and HO outlines is hard to distinguish for these old eyes.

One other thing is when I went to pay for hints (which aren’t strictly necessary but I feel the game deserves it), I took the option for fifty ish hints and only afterwards did I see an option for unlimited. It would have been nice to see that earlier but it wasn’t presented to me.

So when I’m finished I’ll likely seek out computer versions of the developer’s games because this one is really fun and I’d hate to miss out due to minor frustrations with the controls.

I logged in and didn’t receive the 15 coins and my 70+ coins and like 16 gems sent showing either. Can you please correct this issue? I love playing your games and rarely have a problem, 😁

I really do enjoy these games and this is the first one I tried the F2P and it’s been going really well. The mechanics in a few spots are a bit off, like I click on the right item to solve the problem 10 times before it recognizes it (doesn’t happen often tho). The art is great, story is fun and I actually want to know what’s going to happen next unlike a lot of other games like this and the puzzles are just hard enough to be fun and challenging at the same time.. except that yellow circle puzzle where you can only go 3-right and 5-left took me three days to solve and I almost gave up and I’m having yellow circle PTSD.

Ok so, reason it’s 4 and I’ll change it to 5 if it’s fixed.. the key that’s supposed to open the pirates chest just doesn’t work. I can’t go forward in the game and I’m disappointed. Hope they fix it.

I enjoyed the game. Not super hard to where I got frustrated. Just difficult enough to keep me entertained.

The few issues I had was, it was very difficult to go back to a previous location. I’d either end up clicking on something that’s zoomed in or on my inventory instead of going back to the location I was at before. Maybe a back button might be helpful?

And another issue I had was the lock pick puzzle in the bonus chapter. I couldn’t move the 4th pick at all. And it seems to have some kind of glitch. After a few times of inserting the lock pick into the key hole it would make the 3rd and 4th pick go down a peg. Making it even more difficult to try and get the 4th pick to the desired height. Seems I’m not the only one that’s had this issue. Had to spend 10 coins to skip the darn puzzle because no matter what I did the 4th pick wouldn’t move up or down with the arrows. This was definitely frustrating.

Great game and it’s completely free. Great storyline and pretty cool graphics. You can get hints by simply watching a short ad, which I loved. I took advantage of that quite often. I even watched 10 ads in a row so I could skip a game that I couldn’t solve. Awesome feature. Thanks for the great game.

I really liked this game and hated to see it end. The only problem I had was it took me a long time to find out how to move back through the scenes when it was as simple as touching the dip left of inventory. Maybe I should have read the tutorial?? Wait was there a tutorial?

I’ve played so many of these HO adventure games that I usually have to play difficult mode for it to be fun. The mini games here are so intuitive, challenging and original that it makes up for the silly story and animation.

This game is 100% free to play!! It’s much similar to big fish games yet it’s free!! Yes you’ll have to by hints if you’re stuck, although most of the game and puzzles are easy enough. I always appreciate a dev allowing a game like this be f2p, so I’ll show my appreciation by buying a hint pack regardless if I need them. These types of point and click games are a lot of fun for me. It’s a decent story with great graphics. The game play is long enough and not boring. I recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure point and click game.... it’s FREE❗️

This game is amazing!!! It’s free, interesting, adventurous, mysterious, and the graphic are so realistic. You never want to stop playing, the hints are so reliable and there’s many more of these games and types and did I mention it’s for free!!!!

I’ve beaten 15 of these fun games. I love the mystery and hunting for the next item. The stories are always intriguing, and the puzzles are challenging and clever.

Puzzles are perfect and its so fun! I’ve played a lot of these games and this is the only one that competes with ae mysteries
