Zombie Idle Defense Reviews

I guess I’m not only person with the “ad free” purchase problem, it says “ad free included” on Some of the deals and I got them because of that specifically… well guess what? We’re all watching those 30-45 seconds ads still for extra rewards. Until this get fixed I’ll leave the rating at 1 star. Also I contacted support many times, no replies~ good job!

Edit: after playing this game for 3 week, I’ll give a update to my feel to this game. “It’s crap”. Literally pay to play, not play to win, just to PLAY. Or you can get stuck doing same thing over and over everyday not progressing much or at all. Getting hero cards are hard enough. And gold coins are too! Mission gives you at my lvl right now 2-4mil each run, a upgrade to my char lvl costs 15mil+. No auto run to do same mission over and over, fastest way for gold is watch ads. This game is made completely by people who just want you to spend tons of money. Everything might cost only 1-10USD but it give so little reward you might need to purchase them 1000 times before it even do something. Game woulda been so much better if this company wasn’t so money hungry.

The game is super fun and a grind that is not a deterrent- but the game crashes during ads a LOT. Usually it is if you choose to get an extra bonus at the end of a level. The ad will load and then the game crashes soon after. If I could play uninterrupted I would surely spend money on the game to maximize my time, but as it stands that would be foolish. I hope they get it figured out, but as of May 10, 2023 the game crashes constantly on the newest IOS update and security patch. Using Iphone 11 Pro Max.

First off, if there is an idle part of this game I have yet to see it. Not sure how I feel about this neat part: of an ad boost opportunity appears, during a level it plays with level going on in the background. A part of me loves this as a great time saver, but a part of me is worried about higher level where you will not want the zombies over whelming your team while you get help. Lastly, tbh if I play a game I at least want to be listening to a book on audibles or something. Makes me feel less like I am wasting time. Right now if open the game audibles is shut down.

Not a terrible game but there are a few problems with it. For starters I’m not sure if this is a constant bug but when loading the game at the bottom part of the screen it’s uneven, but should not be that bad of a problem. But the biggest problem I had when playing is that it’s advertised as a “idle” but I have not seen any proof of that. And the last thing is that you guys need to check for grammar mistakes, because as a new player to the game I am forced to sometimes piece together what the dialogue is trying to say. That is why I had to give it a 2 star rating.

The game will allow you to make purchases but it will not give you the items you payed for.. And there is no support center to contact. No mods are anything. Your just out of cash . Also after reaching 130 stars in the campaign the game bugs out and kicks you off. No matter how many times you try you will not get to play the game after 130 stars.. that’s around 3 hours of play time then the game is over for you for good. Because of the bugs. And like I said no one to get ahold of about any of this. This is your warning download at your own discretion 😂

This game has held my attention for a week so there's that, but it has a number of issues holding it back. It's got bugs and lacks clarity around weapon types/bonuses for example. It's also not very idle because you have to have the game running to advance levels. Restarting at level 1 each time is a major drag.

I would give it 3* but today I opened a chest and got an orange scout rifle, which was really exciting. However the next time I opened the game the gun was gone, never to be seen again.

Finally, if you've read this far here's a treat. You can exploit cash by completing a level with 1*, 2* then 3* ratings in that order. Results in $9 instead of $5 if you got 3* first try.

This game is a great game to play, but I think you guys could make the game better by adding a few more things into it. First thing that could be done is, for the campaign mode, you guys should add a fast button (I.e. 2x or 3x) being that they move SOOOOOO slow. The second thing that could be changed is that when you do endless mode, since you only have a certain amount of time to go as far as possible, while your app is not open, if you’re in endless mode, your heroes should be able to keep progressing farther and farther, until they can’t move forward anymore. It’s annoying that I have to leave my app open, and phone on while in endless mode to move forward. Last thing I ask is that if we the players that bring you money purchase certain things such as “NO ADS” we should be able to claim the rewards WITHOUT having to WATCH an AD..... other than that, You guys are doing a good job, but just a couple new features like those would make the game even better. I thought purchasing one of the deals, from the HOT DEAL tab, would put a stop to the 30 second ads.... I was wrong. If you haven’t purchased anything from the HOT DEAL section then you’ll see on the bottom left of the purchases it’ll say “include ad free.” After buying one of the deals it no longer shows “include ad free” under the remaining available deals. I assumed the ads would no longer need to be watched and can now claim the extra rewards without any ads but nothing changed. The ads are still there and I’m still forced to watch them to claim any extra rewards.

What needs to be done to get that extra 2 stars:
1. The games idle mode needs progression while app is closed if it resets

2. It is a little annoying you can’t engage the zombies as soon as they enter the screen. The big zombies attack not long after and I feel useless even tapping like crazy to try and get the three star.

3. I feel each city needs more design to separate them. It seems we’re supposed to feel like moving around but I feel like I never went a block in the game.

4. Maybe I just haven’t gotten far enough (just got to Dallas) but I’d like to see more guns for each category (handgun, smg, etc.) more strategy.

What I like:
1. It seems characters are dependent on gear and not getting an instantly god-like character

2. The gear is fun to upgrade and I feel like there are choices of what gun to use for a character

3. The abilities are fun to use.

4. It is an entertaining idle game. Some idle games just seem lazy and unoriginal. This is neither of those.

To close, I am really enjoying the game. I gave it three stars because it just need more guns and a few features added to kick it to another level.

This game has enough upgrades, from characters to weapons to passives to help you get stronger that is fun for anyone who gets the itch for just one more upgrade. The enemies do move slow so I opted for the $3 times 2 move speed, a small price for a fun game. The issue is the skip feature in Endless mode only works once in each run. I’ll put this down until that is fixed. Endless mode helps to give you keys so you can get weapons and character upgrades and only pushing 80 levels while I let it run overnight isn’t enough or probably good for my phone battery. I can’t wait to play again so please fix soon.

This game is a great game for when your on an airplane and you are bored and can’t sleep. This game doesn’t require WiFi to work so it’s good to play with connection that can’t get to some places where there isn’t WiFi, but there is 2 problems that I hate. First is the Slowness of the level. The problem with time is that the levels are so slow where it takes so much time to finish a level you can’t really get a lot of levels in one sitting. What could fix this if you would add a 2x speed or 3x speed where you could actually get some levels done quickly while not waiting an eternity for the level to finish. My second problem is bring back leveling your characters to a different rank whenever you want. I am an old player where before if you had enough character cards for a character you could bring them up a rank and that helped by boosting your characters immediately not when you have to level up your character to rank them up. Please just add ranking up your characters whenever so you don’t have a lot of trouble on your next level by having to pay for levels. Otherwise a great game and would recommend to other people.

It is super fun but if you don’t want to put money in to it and get the speed up function then it is a long wait. It is super fun but it just is a little slow I love this game and I like the city taxes because It is not just for one city but all the cities. but this game is super fun and there are no ads but ones that give you perks. Also you can get a lot of the super currency just by beating the levels and if you’re stuck on a certain level and you need more super crazy you can just go back and beat other levels that you were a peon to get more super currency and I feel like that is something that most games should definitely have

I love the game! I’ve been playing on and off for over a month! I love the characters and the weapons! I enjoy all the game modes and am happy to see new stuff be integrated into the game like pvp!! One of the few changes I would make is, I hate that I can’t buy the military crate with my in game cash, maybe if I could buy at the minimum one or two a day with my cash and if I wanted to buy more after that mark, it would have to be with real money. That would be cool. Just make the military crates and character packages extremely expensive and put a limit on how many you can buy in a day with in game cash. I think that would be cool! Well i managed to conplete the entire campaign including hong kong with 3 stars on every stage. I do have some issues though that i would like the developers to see. Why is there a character that specializes in sci-fi weapons and I have yet to encounter a sci-fi weapon. What guns could i be possibly missing if there are any? And why are they so difficult to find for someone who has beat all chapters 3 stars?
For those asking for a x2 x3 camplaign speed, you will see on the bottom right corner a hand sign that looks like its tapping, press that and voila, auto tap damage and x2 speed for watching a ad.
Another suggestion i have is maybe add new characters, a character skill tree as well.
And can we get more stages and a hard mode and a heroic mode? I found the hong kong stages way too easy.

It’s a fun little game to waste some time. I love it, it’s simple yet fun.

Pros:
-fun levels, and idle mode is cool.
-Lots of characters to choose from
-TONS of weapons
-fun to just watch endless go.

Cons:
-No bundle packs for multiple features (Ad skip, 2x speed, auto upgrade) all must be purchased separately.
-Auto clicker is useless for endless, if you place it in a certain spot, it’s location is reset after some time when the level background changes.
-Really bugs me that each feature has to be purchased separately, instead of the usual bundles.
-Campaign is a little tedious, each level you have to turn on 2x speed and auto skill each level. Would be nice if they stayed on each level.

My suggestions:
-Add a better variety of bundles like ad free bonuses and 2x speed, or auto clickers and auto upgrade.
-Clans would be an awesome upgrade!
-Add in some campaign features like keeping 2x speed and auto skill on after each level.
-Would be cool to see some other hero’s

I absolutely enjoy playing zombie defense. It’s such a fun an peaceful game to just sit back/relax to play. I played this game awhile back an was so far on it but grew out of it. I’m back though an still absolutely enjoy it. Started playing again a few days ago an I’m a good bit far on it already. I’d recommend it to those who like a zombie apocalypse games & who just like to play a game to relax too!

This is the first review i’ve ever done for a game so feel special but ...
This game is fun and original. Upgrading is fair and simple, i spent a couple of dollars for the fast speed and unlimited tap because it’s necessary. Currency in this game is easy to come by and come multiply quick if you conserve it, a few cons though. Idle mode should be idle and not having to leave ZombieIdleDefense open because i would like to do other things, two. needs more characters and ability to upgrade their passives as well, 3. Please increase the rate of research points on idle, i can barely upgrade anything with 5m and that’s 5 million!

I love this game and I find myself playing it every now and then, but what I wish there was, was a more variety for shotguns and weapon categories that don’t have that many options, I would also like new heroes and a way to make weapons customisable because for the hero Bruce you see he has a scope on his ak47 so I would like some customisable mods for weapons… but overall it’s a great game

This game rocks! Only problem is the ads aren’t working for support drops, bonus win rewards and ad bonuses for resources. I’ve restarted my phone and redownloaded this game multiple times trying to troubleshoot it. I’ll definitely give this game 5 stars once this is fixed

This is a wonderful game, if you’ve got time to spare play it, but I have an idea. I think it would be a great idea to add a button which would increase the game speed, just a simple 2x or 3x button which would make it a lot less slow, since levels take a while, and waiting for the final zombies to w... a... l... k... over to you is slow, and kinda bothersome. Another suggestion is a form of journal of bestiary which would unlock immediately or maybe after you kill your first SWAT zombie, and it would tell you their stats and unique abilities, because some zombies abilities are not at all obvious. I really hope the devs take this into consideration, I would LOVE these to be implemented and I think others would as well.
