- Icons are slow to update after editing categories.

- Adding new items is not very intuitive.

- QR codes do not work.

- Size/quantity cannot be entered separately, and it would be helpful if it could be related to the barcode.

- It is not clear which iCloud account is synced, and it is difficult to change it to a different one if desired.

How to fix FoodShiner app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the FoodShiner app on iPhone
Update FoodShiner app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall FoodShiner iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix FoodShiner on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve FoodShiner network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

FoodShiner Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix FoodShiner not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the FoodShiner App
1. On android, goto Settings » FoodShiner » click [Force Stop]

Update FoodShiner to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear FoodShiner App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » FoodShiner » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart FoodShiner.

Fix FoodShiner unable to contact server/ FoodShiner internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click FoodShiner » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto FoodShiner » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
