I really like this app. When I started thinking I wanted to track our food use and keep track of what we have I started looking for apps. Wow there are a lot and none seem to be what I wanted. I gave this a try because it was free and had mostly positive reviews. I really like it. First of all I would def pay a couple dollars for it. It can do almost everything I want with a little work. This works to organize much more than food. I use it for paper products, cleaning supplies and even essential oils. Very versatile. The bar code scanner is nice feature.
If there was some changes it would be 5 stars. 1) would like to add categories while entering a product, not having to close out and go back to settings 2) be able to delete a category incase u change the way things r organized. 3) I would like Manufactures and Product name to be different lines. I don’t care necessarily what brand toilet paper I have but that I have two packages. But I would want to know what brand of shampoo I had because everyone in the house uses different ones. 4) ability to enter more info like qty and how it comes. Like the number of trash bags in a box. Yes I could do it already by selecting pieces. I would like to know I have 2 boxes of trash bags each containing 50 bags. Maybe one is a 30 Ct and one 50ct. Yes this is micro managing but it would be nice. 5) VERY Important- goes back to point 3. I want my list alphabetized by product name not brand. Like coco powder then sweetened milk; Not Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk then Hersheys Coco powder. Just a few ideas I think would make this just a bit easier to use.

After editing categories, icons seem slow to update. Adding new items seems somewhat less than intuitive. QR codes don’t seem to work. Would be nice if size/quantity could be entered separately (with size related to bar code). Need to see which iCloud account is sync’d, and change it to a different one if desired.

Here’s a few features I hope the developer will implement soon:
1. Edit names, categories, and expiry date of items
2. A more robust bar code scanning process. It’s a little finicky right now
