You cannot smoothly scroll down through the different shows because it snags and jumps. Then the mouth lags behind the speech. I just tried to watch Bill O. and the segments would not play. It was just a black screen. Sometimes Jesse K. is nothing more than a bunch of overlapping squares. I don't have any problems like this with other apps. I do enjoy TheFirstTV when it works. I hope someone can fix it. Thank you.

TheFirstTV has a long way to go. I open it and it says “click here to watch live”. If it were live programming I couldn’t fast forward. Then the only way to navigate from “Live” to the list of programs is to double click the home button, swipe TheFirstTV from my screen, then reopen TheFirstTV .

It crashes. It crashes when I try to open some programs, over and over. Another program may play. Go back to the original one, it crashes again. Turn the volume up, it crashes. Same if I turn it down.

Please get it right!

Tried channel but the continual horrible ads of Home Title insurance every few minutes was a killer for me. Could not take it....an insult to all his viewers. Maybe they should have the pillow guy on too. He kills me also for cable news....a sure channel Changer point.

My point is O'Reilly = good. Channel and continuous ads = so bad, had to delete channel.

This is really a frustrating experience on Apple TV. User is only able to watch a live feed and doesn’t have access to home menu and the shows that have previously aired. So, unless you can watch live, skip TheFirstTV and watch on your iPhone where all the features are available.

I’ve been watching The First’s live stream on Apple TV through Pluto, but wanted to see some of their other shows on demand, so I downloaded TheFirstTV . TheFirstTV opens to the live broadcast, and these is a note at the bottom of the screen to press the menu button to return to the home section. However, when I press either the menu or home buttons, TheFirstTV closes. When I press the menu button, the screen flashes before closing TheFirstTV , which appears to be a crash. I tried reloading TheFirstTV and cycling the power on my Apple TV, but nothing changed. So, I’m no better off with TheFirstTV than I was watching on Pluto.
I still gave TheFirstTV three stars because the mobile version works perfectly on my phone. I like that the audio still plays while the phone is locked.

Every time a commercial comes on, TheFirstTV freezes and I have to close it and open it again. This has been going on for a while and it’s time they fix it.

Does anyone not realize the same commercial plays over and over during one break? Yesterday, during O’Reilly, the one for Mississippi ran at least 5 times in a row. Tonight, DeVry University played over and over, at least 5 times in a row. No faster way to lose an audience. So aggravating!

When I get a notification about a news story then go to TheFirstTV there is no obvious way to tell where to find the story. It would be better to include more info in notifications to allow the user to read the story

Fix your app, I’m locked out of content and I’m a subscriber. I recently had to replace my phone and now I can’t watch certain programs because there’s some issue between your app and apples subscription finding common ground. I don’t enjoy leaving a low rating because I enjoy the content and hearing the hosts perspectives (especially Jesse, not gonna lie, he cracks me up). Please fix soon so I can give your app the rating it deserves.

The hosts on First TV are great and lay out their points in an understandable way with facts to back them up. However, whenever I try watching past episodes, TheFirstTV almost always crashes a couple times before I get the video started, especially if I’m trying to find where I left off last time. Love the content, but the constant app crashes are infuriating!

Love TheFirstTV content but gets stuck with no way to get out of live programming without uninstalling and reinstalling TheFirstTV

I’ll continue to watch ..as this is a new platform ..and will assume they will fix this major bug ..as I’m looking forward to the programming lineup ..but for now ..after watching a vid ..you need to close/reboot TheFirstTV in order to get back to the ‘home’ screen ..

Finally, something that I can watch to get the news without the constant barrage of insults from the lamestream media.
If you’re sick of the major networks telling you everything that’s wrong with America and forever wallowing in the political correctness abyss, try TheFirstTV. (It’s free so what do you have to lose?)

Overall TheFirstTV is great. Have it installed on both my iPhone and Roku. Just one complaint... Auto play needs adjusted.

Right now it plays the hours of a multi hour show backwards if on autoplay. Ex. If you finish watching hour 2 of Buck Sexton, Auto Play will then start hour 1 NOT hour 3. It doesn't make sense. You need to either 1) change the programming for order shows are played or 2) change the order shows are uploaded. Thanks 📺

Jesse’s droll tongue in cheek observations are hysterical! He’s notorious for trolling trolls, lank feminists and those who feel a bit too self-important! A fresh voice of humor much needed then a gut punch of realism. Check him out. And he’s insanely tall!

Yes, it is free and amazing! I am very happy with the quality and content that TheFirstTV gives. I watch it on my iPhone and Roku TV, both work very well! I’m happy to see Bill O’Reilly is back because his insight is great! A must watch and FREEE!

I love the line up they have on this news app and that it is free. Just watched Bill O’Reilly segment and it was excellent quality sound and video.

App crashes after about 5 secs of being launched. Is there a fix to this?

I’ve been using TheFirstTV to watch shows but lately an ad has blocked all content.

Thought I had winner in terms of programming. I cannot and will not watch the same commercial over and over. Last night in the 1st five minutes a McDonalds ad played 9 f’ing times in a row. I let it play only so I could send you this message. I almost went crazy. Sorry but I refuse to continue the torture. Would have loved to consistently watch your programs. Good luck!!

I always liked Oreilly, but I don’t care for your programming. And the guy that does the worst president videos is just boring as hell. I subscribed last week, canceled my subscription today. Your programming just isn’t worth paying for!
