There is no way to get ANY customer service from within Vanco . My church has multiple funds to donate to but only one fund is showing up in my app. Found a number to call but they would not even talk to me. Told me I had to contact the church administrator who happens to be the one who gave me the number in the first place.

Not sure when it stopped working but Vanco is now useless. I have worked with our church contact with no results. There is no direct technical support which I think is appalling.

The basic problem is that I can enter everything to the point where you are supposed to review the transaction and the continue to review button will not work. On an iPhone 14 so not old tech.

Will need to abandon the application. Very frustrating.

Glitchy and you cannot delete your banking information. I called this app for help and they won’t help me.

I don’t see where I can find my church. I would give this NO stars, but that isn’t an option.

I had no problems with Give Plus. This “upgraded” version has been a headache from the start. It won’t save my payment method, even though I checked the “save this form of payment” box. Decided to sign off and sign back in and now am getting a spinning wheel, so can’t get in at all. Took Vanco off the phone and reinstalled, still couldn’t sign back in. Thumbs down.

I don’t ever write reviews… and especially bad ones… but this time I feel like it’s needed. The give plus app was GREAT! I never had one issue. Then they switched to this thing. TERRIBLE IDEA. Vanco doesn’t work. Ever. I get all the way to the point to say review and pay, and it won’t let me get any further. I have deleted and redownloaded. Still the same. Hoping my church will switch companies soon.

I use Vanco in order to pay my ties and offerings along with missions to our church. Previous app allowed me to put funds into multiple areas and then submit one payment for the total. Vanco requires me to submit a payment for each area that I want to give to. The new app stepped many paces backwards. Even though I was not a great supporter of the previous app, it worked better than this one does.

Too many problems. People in my church express concern and don’t get help from their customer service. They say that it constantly loads and they can’t give - they have gone back to using checks. Also when you open Vanco and you click the “give” button you can select the specific church account to give to, enter your gift amount and frequency. But then the give button will not work at all. The problem is that I’m not logged in - but on the landing page of Vanco there is no I dictation stating whether or not I am logged in and the assumption is that I am logged in if it allows me to do so many steps towards giving. Confusing and a waste of time for someone trying to give. Time to move on from this app to a better online giving provider.

There are so many problems with Vanco. First, as you are signing up, it resets if you leave Vanco . So if you use a password manager for security (you are using one right? This isn’t 2003) you have to start over. Then when you get to the point of checking your email for the verification, guess what, you have to start over again. But now an account exists. So now you have to rest your password, which you try to get smart and do on your PC, which for some reason doesn’t carry over to Vanco . I am pretty close to having my church switch to another service as this is ridiculous.

I am unable to donate because when I get to the frequency of the donation, the drop down freezes with a blank page, and unless the frequency is filled out, you are unable to advance.

Since changing to this new app over a month ago I have been unable to use it to donate to my church. It simply says my card is not authorized, even though the whole time I’ve been using it successfully everywhere else. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and on the reinstall it simply hangs after clicking the Give button. Then my wife tried it and got to the website interface to finalize the gift but touching the Give button did nothing. Please give us back the old app, it was clunky but at least it worked.

The interface is simple to use, but buggy. I tried to make a transaction for right now and it schedule the transaction for a week later. Now every time I try canceling the scheduled transaction I keep getting an error message and the schedule transaction doesn’t disappear. Please fix this.

Our contributions come from our joint account, therefore my name should also be included in the profile.

Also, I received an email a few weeks ago informing me of the change from the Give+ app to the this app Pay app. O thought I may as well start using the new app rather than wait til the new year, but I found Vanco rather unusable at that point. Hope it works better by the time I need to use it.

Give+ was OK when it worked, but still mediocre at best. This new experience is a step backwards; I saw some promise in the beginning but the issues, bugs, and inconsistent experience is an utter embarrassment. How can someone roll out an app like this? No transaction history or schedule? Just hangs indefinitely… Payment method saves but then disappears? App is quite useless at the moment…

This new this app app is really clunky. The first and worst thing is that every time you want to use Vanco you have to search for your church. That’s just dumb. Once you’ve done it, it should be automatic in perpetuity. The UI is weird. There’s little information on the Home Screen other than a Google Map which is totally unnecessary. When I used the menu to go to my profile, when I tried to return to the home page it couldn’t be found. I had to logout and then login again. Please go back to Give+. It was basic but it worked. This new thing is useless.

I was using Vanco for quite a while and it was working fine. Having to do the picture verification so often was annoying but I could live with it. Lately when I open Vanco it just says Loading please wait and just spins. I tried turning my phone off and restarting but it doesn’t help. If you click on the link that it suggests when it’s just spinning it takes you to a screen that makes you start over by finding your organization which takes FOREVER!! Then it didn’t work anyway! You need to fix Vanco YESTERDAY or I’m done!

As a prior GivePlus member, my transaction history is there and my recurring but my payment options aren’t. I can’t add a new one on Vanco either. It just hangs and waits forever.

We used GivePlus and pushed it heavily. I’m afraid of how this will impact trust in this app.

I’m particularly concerned as the only young adult who jumped on this early for my church and as a finance committee member.

I know it says Vanco is supposed to be for communication and engagement as well as giving, and maybe it’s just because of my specific church, but it seems the only function within Vanco is giving, which is fine with me, that’s the only use I desire it for and I think it would be good to just keep it simple and for devs to work on one function to get it working flawlessly. The only reason I bring this up is because on iPhone it’s under the social networking app category and therefore is grouped with my social apps which makes no sense. Vanco in its current state would better be categorized as a finance app instead. Just a suggestion.

While Vanco appears to have some helpful features, they don’t work well or at all. I can’t see my scheduled transactions or transaction history. This is important to me because I’m being charged twice each week for my church gift. I suspect this is because the set-up is cumbersome and I thought it didn’t go through the first time (received no confirmation), so I entered my gift a second time. The support function simply directs me to our church admin who doesn’t have any more information than I do. Vanco roll-out was rushed out - giving just 30 days notice to churches regarding the change. It seems this app should have slowed down and thoroughly tested it before releasing it. Disappointing & potentially hurtful to church congregations if people don’t trust Vanco.

Vanco is super easy to use and makes giving easy. I also like the map integration and the collaboration features. Thanks for the great improvements!
