Poor Performance for a great Idea, I’m tried it with 260 Mbps down and 29 Mbps up, NDIHXCapture has lag and stuttering to the point that it’s not usable at all, I will not recommend to use this to do any streaming too expensive and it doesn’t deliver what they offer.
Your battery will drains so fast that you won’t be able to use NDIHXCapture for more than and hour without have to recharge which is an inconvenient.
You Better buy “Shoot - camera fees” cheap and reliable as the connection is made through your logging cable, I have use it for 2 iPhones as cameras as the same time and works perfect, you will gain so much screen view without being concern about performance issues, highly recommended.

Purchased to capture iPad in programs such as OBS. Works for a few minutes, then stops broadcasting the source. No error message or log. Others have mentioned same problem on forums with no response.

I’m a public school teacher trying to stream mirrored iPad screen on OBS studio to support live math instruction. The lag/latency issues, up to 5 seconds at times, make this a complete waste of my time and money. Teachers, NDIHXCapture is not the answer!

NDIHXCapture pretty much always fails immediately after you connect; and when it doesn't, it fails a minute later. I can tolerate the lag--which is in fact horrible--but the stability issues make it unusable.

I dropped my sweet $10 hoping to solve an issue, 2 days installing/uninstalling drivers and nothing, the stream show up in NDI studio monitor and even NDI showed up as a source on OBS but in source name my iphone never showed up. Worthless, tried to find solution online and nothing, a lot if people having same issue. Windows 10 laptop.

What I want: stream iPad output to NDI.
What I got: expensive and abandoned app that doesn’t work on iPad, only iPhone, and seems to force drop every few minutes.
I’ve probably spent over $60,000 with NewTek since my OG Tricaster. I feel like this isn’t the same company ignoring its products and customers like this. I was frustrated that my iOS app got pulled after paying $20 for it, so I bought Mark Gilbert’s. This now just seems like this is Newteks new business model - abandoned products. Did you know it is cheaper to keep a customer than to find a new one?

Not sure if it is supported current Os version. I’ve tried more than a couple hours on different system. But NDI Source in OBS does not recognize.

A little laggy which is most likely network bandwidth on my end. However, why not allow the selection of which active apps are running to share the screen. Isolating just a selected app. The full screen share seems like a generic route

I use NDIHXCapture with vmix, work good , only the resolution is to low. This i the reason for 2 star.

Great little app. Works with OBS and StreamLabs OBS. I found it to be a bit laggy in certain places. However, that’s probably due to my network. The thing I have an issue with is that it’s supposed to output 4K. Ummm it doesn’t do that. It does on the iPhone but not on an iPad. Why ? It’s basically the same video coming off the device regardless of whether or not it’s an iPhone or not. So why this difference in quality ? That makes absolutely ZERO sense.

Obviously this would be much more useful if it’s supported iPhone in landscape

This allows my girls to game live together. Worked instantly and perfectly the first try. $10 is a bit steep, but happy to pay it because it works!

Works well! But, where is the Mac version?

Talk about a cool tool! I’m getting maybe 200ms delay through my home network and full NDI A/V right into Wirecast. Great when doing demos to a live broadcast.
Needs an iPad equivalent for broadcasters.
