Hey there,
I’ve been using medito for over a year now and I must say that it was the greatest meditation app I’ve ever used. The simple, seamless design was the selling point for me. But ever since the october UI update, it felt like the developers wanted to ruin the experience for anyone who uses their app offline. I can’t even access the app now without an internet connection, which is a very annoying hurdle to overcome since connection in my area isn’t the greatest thing, so I have to download my meditation sessions beforehand and listen to them when I wake up in the morning. When I use the app without an internet connection, it neither saves my streak nor adds the minutes I meditated to my total count. I also have many friends who use medito as well and we all collectively agree that the old UI was miles better than this one. I hope the developers can read this review and fix this issue because I really love medito and the whole team behind it. For now, I’ll be moving to a different app which supports offline use better.

This app is a no fuss, dive right in meditation experience. It’s clean and makes it simple to begin a meditation practice. My only gripe is that it has no sync with the Health App for tracking progress. The app offers a simple feature of a day streak, but I like seeing my experiences with a wide bird’s eye view and Medito is currently lacking in that front. Even just beefing up the in app data to show average length of your meditations or how many days you have meditated over the course of a week would be a great addition. I do appreciate Medito for its barebones approach to a mediation app in a sea of subscriptions, but I am sure I’m not the only one wishing for a more robust look into our meditation habits.
