White Background Frame Reviews

The scaling is broken. When adjusting the size of the photo onto the white background, the top/bottom values vary drastically between the adjustment percentages. I scale my photos to 85% and the top/bottom values vary from 59 to 64. This inconsistency will throw your photos out of balance. This is unacceptable when curating a social media feed on the go. On top of this, WhiteBackgroundFrame will ruin the presentation of your photos because it adds a one pixel black stroke on your image. I am not sure why this happens but again it will ruin a perfectly curated social media feed. If you are a perfectionists, stick to photoshop. Not WhiteBackgroundFrame.

Possibly charged twice when making payment for WhiteBackgroundFrame

You have to pay if you want to save more than one picture. Absolutely ridiculous.

You can only save one picture without buying the premium version it seems like. Also doesn’t give you good crop ratios

This is not the kind of app you should pay a subscription for. Completely ridiculous

I can’t believe they charge for WhiteBackgroundFrame if it can’t do a basic alignment guide. If you want a centered image you have to eyeball it which is silly.

I used WhiteBackgroundFrame for over a year for my instagram posts and only now, mid April 2023, there is now a paywall added to a simple app. Absolutely scummy. I’d rather have an ad every time I save a photo than be subjected to yet another subscription.

You can edit exactly one photo before you have to pay for it. $4 a month. It does work well, but I’m not willing to pay for the one function it offers.

Works fine for adding a white background to pictures. The only problem is when resizing the pictures inside the background, there’s no centering tool. Additionally, after the first picture I processed fixed an issue I had on Instagram, I purchased the full version. The next picture I did repeated the same problem I’ve always had. I have no need for WhiteBackgroundFrame even though I’ve already spent five dollars and can’t request a refund, even though I’ve only used WhiteBackgroundFrame three or four times.

Great app but should mention that you can only save one photo without premium

I wish there was an option to keep a lot more of the image quality

I want to love this but 1) it’s kind of confusing how to use. Took me a while to figure out how to use - they need a ux designer to do some user interviews 2) it creates a little border around my images which is really evident when I have images with a lot of light colors which means I can’t use them. Once they fix these items it will be a lot better

WhiteBackgroundFrame has gotten better with the last updates. It really needs a centering feature for pictures as it is hard to align perfectly especially with having multiple images on the white background.

It does not have the option to resize the image

2. simple three step process
3. done in 2 minutes after i made sure the photo was centered how i wanted
4. easy! download it!

i downloaded 4 other photo editing apps before this for what WhiteBackgroundFrame did in literally 2 minutes
