I've been using the Escapes notebook app, and decided to use Morty. While Morty seems like a better maintained app, and works better, what I like about Escapes is that it has a Statistics section that gives me an overview of my avg escape time, shortest escape time, breakdown of escape rooms I've done by cities, genre, etc. This is especially cool for me to track because I always try to do an escape rooms at every city and country I visit. The other thing I wish Morty can do is for me to indicate how many people I had in my experience without having them get a Morty account. I like just being able to quickly note how many people were in my group in the Escapes app. Since I have to manually add my previous escapes again in Morty, I figured it's not even worth continuing to retroactively add without the key features I want.

I cannot say enough about this app! If you’re an Escape Room Enthusiast (like myself), this app is for you! It has all of the features that you will need to find the perfect room for yourself, and for your family and friends. Whenever there are updates, they are for the best and always improve upon the app which include badges that you can earn, filters to narrow down the best escape rooms to your liking, and it tracks both escape rooms and haunts throughout the United States. Andy, the owner of the app, is such an amazing human being who is very attentive, specific, and has the fastest, most personable guest experience. Whenever there’s been bugs or discrepancies, Andy is ON IT! This is a growing community, so if you’re interested in joining the immersive, fun, and expansive world of Escape Rooms, download this app!!

Prior to this app I was using Notes to keep track of the room, date, time escaped, who played, pictures, website, location, etc. Getting that all to format in a readable format was a pain, and then I found Morty. WOW as someone who likes to keep track of everything this app is a game changer! Always making improvements to the app and adding more features. So much future potential. My only problem with it is that there are not more escape rooms around me to play to be able to use this app more. But since this app I haven’t touched Google to search for escape rooms. This is my one and only source to find rooms nearby when out or on vacation. Excited to see this app become huge and really open the door for escape rooms.
