I've been using the Escapes notebook app, and decided to use this app. While this app seems like a better maintained app, and works better, what I like about Escapes is that it has a Statistics section that gives me an overview of my avg escape time, shortest escape time, breakdown of escape rooms I've done by cities, genre, etc. This is especially cool for me to track because I always try to do an escape rooms at every city and country I visit. The other thing I wish this app can do is for me to indicate how many people I had in my experience without having them get a this app account. I like just being able to quickly note how many people were in my group in the Escapes app. Since I have to manually add my previous escapes again in this app, I figured it's not even worth continuing to retroactively add without the key features I want.

I cannot say enough about Morty! If you’re an Escape Room Enthusiast (like myself), Morty is for you! It has all of the features that you will need to find the perfect room for yourself, and for your family and friends. Whenever there are updates, they are for the best and always improve upon Morty which include badges that you can earn, filters to narrow down the best escape rooms to your liking, and it tracks both escape rooms and haunts throughout the United States. Andy, the owner of Morty , is such an amazing human being who is very attentive, specific, and has the fastest, most personable guest experience. For so many years I was looking up Google, Yelp, and random reviews online to try and find escape rooms I wanted to spend the money on. this app has made that easy with reviews and pictures available it makes it make sense. The only thing I would like to see this app do is to have filters for locations, stars, reviewed, live actor, themes etc. and would like the home page to be my location not necessarily new reviews that were made in Florida or where ever. Thanks for the development of Morty . Fantastic.

this app is our go-to app for finding & choosing escape rooms. I trust their ratings and reviews above all others, as they're written by fellow ER enthusiasts. When reading reviews you can quickly see how many rooms the reviewer has done, which gives you a good idea of how trustworthy what they say is. There are many reviewers with hundreds of rooms under their belts - if they recommend a room, then it's safe to say it's a great one!

We are Owners, developers and enthusiasts and we absolutely love the this app app. So much information at one location. We used to search for games via Google and had multiple windows open at a time but no longer. Currently we are in Orlando playing games and having been here many times it can get confusing as to what we have played and where. this app allows us to track our games simply by pushing the Played button. Thank you for this awesome tool.

I have been trying to find a way to track the escape rooms I attend for ages and I can’t recommend this app enough. The interface is intuitive and the community is really awesome. Morty allows you to not just mark games as played but also add photos and details and reviews. You can even link with the people you play with. It’s also a great way to discover new rooms in your area because there is a map feature. If you like escape rooms you should grab Morty.

I tracked my hundreds of rooms over the last 8 years in a spreadsheet, and it was a breeze finding them and entering them in this app. They have an interface for spreadsheet import (I ended up not needing it) and an easy way to add missing rooms (I had old ones that were closed)

I can add friends and see what they’ve played, and there are scheduling features that I’m looking forward to trying.

Overall, this is Morty I’ve needed for years. Thanks for a great product!

Great to have a place to connect with other enthusiasts, and Morty is really well thought out, asthetic and useful. The review aggregation style is slick and creative- you learn to tell at a glance what games are like, without resorting to "how many stars would you give it". Actual app support behind the scenes, people who care about the games and will do deep research to make sure all your old half-remembered-gone-forever games are properly counted! Unexpected and impressive.

If you’re an avid escape game player you should download Morty. It’s fantastic for tracking and reviewing played games with your team. But it’s also a great resource for finding new games and keeping them on your radar for the future.

Morty is well designed, easy to use, and feature rich with invested developers who consistently listen to and incorporate feedback from their audience.

I’m excited to see how Morty grows in the future with such a dedicated team of creators and enthusiasts!

The title says it all, really. this app is simply the must-have app for escape room players. Morty is super smooth, the community is lovely, the ratings are fantastically honest, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a developer who cares so deeply about the user experience on their app. In fact, I’m writing this review while out of town, having just played (and enjoyed) a highly-rated local room that this app helped me find!

If you’re still reading this, I’m impressed at your commitment, but seriously— stop reading and just download Morty !

I no longer need to search the internet to find a good room, nor do i need to keep a spreadsheet to track the rooms I’ve done! this app makes it easy to find rooms in my area, or anywhere I’m traveling, I can see reviews and easily link to book my next visit.

The rating system is good (thumbs down, up or heart). I do wish there was a middle option, or a 1-5 scale, to capture the subtle ratings, but this rating works well enough.

Thanks this app for making it easier to enjoy our hobby.

Prior to Morty I was using Notes to keep track of the room, date, time escaped, who played, pictures, website, location, etc. Getting that all to format in a readable format was a pain, and then I found this app. WOW as someone who likes to keep track of everything Morty is a game changer! Always making improvements to Morty and adding more features. So much future potential. My only problem with it is that there are not more escape rooms around me to play to be able to use Morty more. But since Morty I haven’t touched Google to search for escape rooms. This is my one and only source to find rooms nearby when out or on vacation. Excited to see Morty become huge and really open the door for escape rooms.

If you are in any way involved with escape rooms, this is the perfect app. It keeps track of all of your escape rooms and even gives you prompts to fill out to review your experiences! You can also connect with other players! Also, the developers of Morty are SUPER active and on top of things when it comes to adding new rooms, fixing bugs, and even adding new things. There’s a forum that even allows the users to connect directly with the developers to suggest different elements to add! It’s an awesome app for escape room enthusiasts!

I love Morty! It definitely beats the little yellow notepad we’ve been using. The creator of Morty is super helpful and is always looking to provide the best information . It’s been evolving which is cool too. We just did our 47 room tonight and wore our this app T-shirt’s lol. Morty has so much information. You can read reviews from other players about your game, see a map of all the escape rooms in the area, and track what rooms you’ve done in a very user friendly app. We like making a wish list of the next rooms we want to try.

this app is such an awesome way to keep track of escape rooms I have done. I love that they have review and rating features as well, as it makes it easier to know which friends to invite (some like and dislike certain types of rooms). They blur out reviews with spoilers so I can CHOOSE to view them to see how others experienced rooms. My favorite part about Morty is that I can go ANYWHERE and know exactly where the nearest escape rooms are, click the link to booking and review and or “mark as played” all within seconds. It really is a great app!!! Thank you to the creators. Y’all knew exactly what ER addicts needed! 💪🏽

If you love going to escape rooms, you need to get on Morty. Not only does it allow you to track the rooms that you have done, but it allows you to review them. This means that when you’re looking for your next room to do, you can see how it was reviewed by others. Rather than gambling $50 on a room and hoping it is a good one, you can be assured you are going to a highly rated room that you will most likely love and not feel like you’re throwing your money away. I have been so happy with my escape room experiences ever since I found and started using this app!

I’ve been active with this app for a looooooong time and I’ve seen it go through some bugs, but the team’s response time, the active listening to the users, and ever-expanding features make it great for an immersive experience enthusiast such as myself to get more involved.

I love that I can input my spreadsheet of previously played games in and makes work easy; I love that there’s a community tab that we can react and respond to other enthusiasts; I love that I can find times to play games that I didn’t know existed! Can’t recommend this enough!

Hopefully we’ll see more things like Morsey in the future on this app as well!

I installed this app a while ago and just recently gone through and started adding rooms I’ve done to it. I just used it today to find a new escape room to do this week while traveling for work. Morty works great for moving to a map location and just searching for any escape rooms. It doesn’t work that great when entering a specific name, like Omescape in the search field. I love the “wheel rating” which makes it easy to locate good rooms.

We also use the Terpeca site for finding rooms as well. It would be cool if they integrated the Terpeca rankings into the this app lists so you can sort by community or Terpeca.

I definitely recommend Morty for people doing escape rooms!

Built by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts…the ultimate escape room app! Morty has replaced multiple applications and websites for me. I used to just track my escape rooms on Excel, but now this app has made it so easy to see all my games played in a handy place. I used to leave reviews on yelp and escape room groups on facebook, but now I leave all my reviews on this app, and I’m excited that I can leave feedback that fellow enthusiasts would find helpful when researching rooms. this app has also been so awesome for researching rooms when traveling. You can look up the top rooms in any region! The developers are so nice and passionate about improving Morty consistently. I got access to it during the beta and it’s incredible to see how much it has changed!

I’ve been using multiple resources for escape rooms and this is perfect. It shows terpeca nominees which if you don’t know what that is, it’s awesome to have as well.

I’ve also needed a way to mark how many I’ve done since I can’t remember them all. I felt Ive done over 130 but could only remember 89 of the ones I’ve done and marked. So it’s a great way to keep track of the ones you e done. And compare to others
