Basically I got a virus I had to download multiple apps and I found this and then I downloaded this I saw other reviews that is good and it’s not good I just wanna get rid of this stupid virus on my phone and have a very safe and protected phone so I wanna see if this is good or not my mom told me to subscribe to one VPN app and another both 9.99 each week and that’s 18 dollars a week I feel sad for her so I wanna get this virus thing over with and I’ve been praying to get rid of the virus plz help :(

I went onto a website where they were selling cars. After about 2 minutes, I got a bunch of notifications that there was a potential virus in my phone. I’m sure like many other people I panicked. Well please do not if this happened to you! Go into settings, then go to calendar. Go to accounts, and then press add account. There should be a thing that says delete. If there isn’t I’m very sorry! But if I remember right, that’s how I fixed it. ProtectAd is a scam. :)

To all my fellow iPhone users who are getting tons of spam from this and want it to stop but dont know how. i found how to stop it.

1) Open calendar app
2) Click on Calendars in the middle
(at the bottom there are 3 options:
Today Calendars Inbox)
3) The should be an option that says “Click ‘OK’ to subscribe.” Go to it.
4) Finally, at the bottom there should be an option for “delete subscription” and it will clear all the spam out.

I have been getting these notifications that said that my phone has a virus and panicked! and it said that I need to download ProtectAd but even though I downloaded this I got the page blocked after and panicked even more I did everything I could and I keep getting more notifications and noticed that nothing was changing so if you guys get the the same virus notification this idk how to help sorry

In calendar they always put and alarm and idk how to off it I downloaded ProtectAd and I must pay money so how do I off the alarm in the calendar and they say your iPhone is exposed

I keep having a notification pop up saying the same thing what would I do??

I went on a shopping website and all of a sudden I got a billion calendar notification that I got a “virus” it was a scam in it self since the link did not work for one of the vpns and I would rather just delete the calendar then reinstall it again than deal with paying money to get rid of the stupid calendar notifications.

It’s good and all but I’m still getting notifications on protecting my iPhone a following the steps on which I did I thought it would take those away but on the other note it’s working I think and hope so.

I honestly just downloaded ProtectAd for I can stop getting these notifications that says “your iPhone is infected”it’s like leave me alone and the fact you have to pay in order to use it is just wow

I’m getting notifications and reminders 24 hours a day about hackers and losing my data. What is this about? It is becoming a nuisance

I have had the same calendar problem/issue as the previous review. I have downloaded your app - will see if the “free trial” works to repair. If not - will un-install

Me either but that’s how this company chooses to promote ProtectAd. Every hour of everyday in my calendar app is filled with crap promoting ProtectAd. The calendar is pretty much useless without jumping through a lot of hoops to fix it. Thanks for that one Apple.

I downloaded this sorry app just to make this comment. I will now go and delete it.

I've tried numerous ad blockers & I keep coming back to this one. Works great, is easy to configure & seems the lightest on resources.

They started to send notifications from calendar app and made me download it when I read the privacy terms I found out that they can collect many information such as: Name ,address and the most important one: payment information
I’m going to restart my IPhone 😓

Download ProtectAd and then go to pass word ang the things ang you see the virus then delete it all then your done theres no virus:) thats all love you all

Do we have to buy it to protect my phone cause I got ProtectAd but it wouldn’t protect my phone, and I clicked inactive and it said I had to buy it :v

this is stupid, I was getting numerous alerts from my calandra saying that I was hacked, than it led me to ProtectAd I decided to download it just to still get them afterwards. I was so worried thinking everything I had was going to be exposed if I didn’t do something but it’s a scam.

Reminders keep on appearing on my calendar from ProtectAd, telling me I should download it.
I have never heard of ProtectAd and consider it a virus that has infected my iPad. I do not want it and cannot seem to rid myself of this rubbish app.
I had to download it to write this review. Just to warn people keep away from this scam virus.

It’s stupid i get a lot of alerts from the calendar app so i get ProtectAd just to stop it they don’t stop and you have to pay to us it so you just have this dumb app sitting in your phone wasting space and annoying notifications from the calendar app

Like all y’all I got notifications on my calendar to download ProtectAd and I just deleted calendar not my actual one but the notifications there and they stopped coming hope this helps and the notifications are annoying
