Good App but one major flaw

Okay I love MedicTests2026EMSEducation itself. Great way to review all information needed to prepare for National Registry.

The only down fall to the application is when the phone locks itself, the test/quiz closes out and I can’t restart where I left off. The application needs to have an ability to continue the quiz or test when our phone locks out. I’m not going to have my phone never lock just to take the quiz or test. This to me, is the only major down fall to this application.

I’m a full time EMT taking test prep for AEMT. While I’m at work, I try to take as many quizzes/tests as I can. However my department is very busy and sometimes I can answer a few questions before I am sent out on a call. I would like for this to be added so I can prepare better, and get a better representation of how I would score on the National Registry. Instead of having failed test because I was not able to finish it.

Good but limited content

Updated: I passed my rentry test after studying with MedicTests2026EMSEducation, Pocket Prep, and Kaplan for only 5 days after not having thought about EMT standards for 20 years (when I first took the cognitive exam). I did ~3500 questions on MedicTests2026EMSEducation in the five days. For what it’s worth, I am a WFR instructor but the standards are somewhat different. The repeated questions were still annoying and I think I would have gotten more out of MedicTests2026EMSEducation if I didn’t see the same easy questions over and over. I switched to Pocket Prep for the last 24 hours because of this issue.

Original: The written instructional sections are easy to read and informative. The questions are useful, but are repeated so often that I wonder if I’m learning the content or just the question itself. I would I estimate I have answered a couple questions (correctly) close to 20 times. The same questions reappear in the content sections, the building strength tests, the weaknesses tests, and the NREMT simulator.

NREMT-P successful

MedicTests2026EMSEducation truly saved my skin. I took the initial course over ten years ago and recently did my 60 CE but felt severely lacking to take the real test. I wish I could see the hours spent on here I got about halfway through the each 6 cores before my test. It honestly felt harder than the first go around, but I was a first time pass! The test is very call heavy and now asks for steps in how’d you’d do the order of importance in from one to three. In case the developers want to help prepare for that. Otherwise definitely get this to help you test.

My go to prep for NREMT

I tried a few different study programs while preparing for the written exam and this one was my favorite. The concise section break down with questions at the end of each, the ability to strengthen skills and work on weaknesses, find specific areas to focus on, their test simulator and the AI ask features were all reasons I liked this best. I just passed my test yesterday and could not recommend MedicTests enough.

Awesome Study Guide!

Used this study guide to help prepare for my Advanced EMT National Registry Test! I have no doubt that the information and practice quizzes helped me pass my test. Your material and the format it’s presented gave me the confidence to face the NREMT test! I have never felt more confident about testing results after taking the standardized test. I had zero reservations or concerns leaving the testing site, I knew I was going to obtain my Advanced EMT National Registry Certification! Thank you for the great product and helping me prepare!

Helpful!

MedicTests2026EMSEducation and website is amazing for anyone looking into a career in ems. I am currently using it to study for the NREMT. It is worth the money. You can take a baseline practice test to see what you are struggling with and work from there. It gives you study suggestions and more practice tests to take. If you take a quiz on your weaknesses it will tell you if you got the answer right and give explanations. It has easy study guides to read and study from. This is definitely a 10/10.

Fab practice and prep app, and great support staff!

I used MedicTests2026EMSEducation to get ready for the AEMT NREMT cognitive exam and it was a BLESSING. The subscription was absolutely worth it, and the questions are incredibly true to the format of questions found on the National Registry.

Only issue I had was canceling my subscription after I passed, so I was charged an extra months fee. However, all it took to fix that was a 30 second phone call with support that gave me a full refund and cancelled subscription without any hassle.

Totally recommend!

NREMT Simulator

Medic Tests is a wonderful App! Only issue i have is on the NREMT simulator; if for any reason your device accidentally closes/turns off switches apps, etc. The whole test closes and you are unable to continue just as a real NREMT test. Since this is made for practice i feel as if this should not be a feature. I was very close to finishing the NREMT simulator when my tablet automatically turned off after being idle for a few since i had to go do something and i am unable to see how i did. Otherwise, I love Medic Tests!

Best EMS Ed app out there

I had previously taken the NREMT exam and failed it. After that my EMS knowledge confidence had gone down as well as my test taking confidence. Medic tests is a great app all around as it adapts to your strengths and weaknesses and offers mini courses and quizzes for specific units. It also has National Registry simulators which helped me build my test confidence and learn how to take THEIR test. And as a bonus it has awards and achievements to keep you motivated. Just all around an amazing app and super well priced for how much you’re getting out of it.

Best NREMT-P app

The quick quiz or practice NREMT is great! MedicTest has NREMT like questions, and explains why it’s the correct answer, and others are not. The review for topics is well organized, nicely presented, and easy to use. Keeps track of progress. Even can click speaker button, and it will read it out loud for you. Works great on iPad and iPhone. Awesome to pull out when waiting in line, or sitting on the couch. Put the effort in with study and or taking test after test to pass the NREMT! Can’t recommend MedicTests2026EMSEducation enough, by far the best one I’ve purchased.

Must Have App

This is a must have app if you’re in any EMS program. Large question bank, practice tests, AI Tudor which is way easier than sifting thru google if you have a specific question. Used it all thru AEMT and passed the new national registry first try.

For the developers, the new post-July 1st test seemed to have an extremely large number of questions that were “select 2” or “select 3” from choices of 5-6. I also found the drag and drop options challenging because there is some subjectivity IMO so seeing what they would want in practice questions would be great.

Will certainly be using MedicTests2026EMSEducation during upcoming paramedic school!

READ BEFORE BUYING: BEST APP FOR NREMT

So I want to say I’m usually skeptical about apps claiming to have this and that and high passing rates blah blah blah. But MedicTests is different.

I heard about it through my local Fire Department and thought it would be worth a try. It is significantly more expensive than MedicTests2026EMSEducation I was using to prepare for my NREMT prior. But it is worth every penny. They do offer a full refund if you do not pass your NREMT.

The questions are very similar to the NREMT. MedicTests2026EMSEducation helps you identify and strengthen your weaknesses. It also keeps you engaged by having information as to why you got a question wrong. Additionally it has daily XP goals to help you feel like you’re actually doing something compared to just mindlessly answering questions and badges for this and that.

I downloaded MedicTests2026EMSEducation a week before my NREMT test date. I saw it had a NREMT simulator and decided to try it. The actual test, the NREMT, is significantly easier than what you are taught and tested through in your EMT class. And the format of questions is very similar to the actual test. I highly recommend that you try MedicTests2026EMSEducation. I passed NREMT first try.

My only wish is that MedicTests2026EMSEducation had a “Question of the Day” like EMSPrep does. It just kept me coming back and I think MedicTests2026EMSEducation could benefit from one. 5/5 Stars.

This is the study source to use!

Medics, I know there are so many options out there to study for your National Registy. It can cost a lot doing trial and error to see which one is for you. I have used a few before finding MedicTests.

I'm here to recommend this as your primary source to study, I'll even go further and say this would benefit already licenced paramedics and refreshing their skills, patients and the pathophysiological presented to them.

Others apps felt like you were just doing quizzes vs reading/learning then quizzes. It felt like training to take a test, whereas with MedicTests I feel that I am learning how to approach this test as a paramedic/clinician.

Outstanding

I normally don’t write reviews for apps but I felt like I had to share praise for this outstanding paramedic prep. Passed the NREMT on the first try in 80 questions thanks to MedicTests2026EMSEducation. I used MedicTests for about 3 weeks before my test and I had questions that were almost identical to the questions I came across taking the actual exam! MedicTests has the best NREMT simulator I could find on the market and I found the strengths/ weaknesses quizzes that the software generates based on what you need to work on to be incredibly helpful. I found the interface to be incredibly user friendly and it actually made answering quizzes fun for me (hard to believe).
If you take the time to practice questions on MedicTests2026EMSEducation you will PASS!

Great App

I was previously using pocket prep and I used it to pass my EMT. I started using it for my medic until someone recommended this and I have to say hands down this is better. Love the questions and tests and the national registry simulator. The badges are awesome and give you something to work towards however I feel mine are bugged cause i stopped receiving it and levels. Besides that little hiccup MedicTests2026EMSEducation is great and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something on the go to study. Not only do you have the above mentioned but the rationale after questions and the fact it has study material on everything in MedicTests2026EMSEducation is great. Price is a little firm but i can not complain if it helps me pass which i feel it will.

The best app for NREMT prep WORTH THE MONEY!!

I just took my NREMT-P yesterday and passed. I have been using MedicTests2026EMSEducation since early October and I can confidently say this is MedicTests2026EMSEducation you need to gain confidence and find your weaknesses and to study. The questions I had on my NREMT were almost identical to the questions you get on MedicTests2026EMSEducation. The NREMT simulator is also pretty cool. Overall I definitely recommend purchasing the subscription for MedicTests2026EMSEducation. It’s a little pricey but I would rather pay $34 than $175 to retake my national.. I can’t say enough good things about MedicTests2026EMSEducation I wholeheartedly believe MedicTests2026EMSEducation was a part of the reason I passed on my first try. Definitely worth the money don’t hesitate!!!( besides other study materials like fisdap, and crash course book).

BEST APP FOR NREMT PREP

I am not normally me to write reviews, especially of apps, but I felt inclined to share my experience with MedicTests.

I had studied with different programs and attempted the NREMT (EMT) twice and failed both times. I was feeling discouraged, and put off studying for a few months after that. Someone had then recommended to use this program, MedicTests. So I purchased the premium subscription and started using it nearly everyday for about a month and a half while utilizing the NREMT simulator once or twice a week. Once I was consistently passing the simulator, I was feeling pretty confident in my ability to test.

Happy to report that I passed my exam, and I feel that if you take studying and doing the quizzes daily seriously, you can pass as well. Thank you MedicTests!

Passed

I started to use MedicTests2026EMSEducation about a week left of my EMT Course, then I used it on and off for about a month after my EMT Course. I started picking up using MedicTests2026EMSEducation more and more closer to my exam date. I was told to “Only use one studying program.” I attempted to use multiple resources to study and my confidence plummeted. I chose to stick strictly with Medic Tests a week and a half before my final. I took my registry. Went to 117 questions and passed. Medic Tests definitely helped me pass. It’s very simple and has peer reviewed content that keeps its system accountable. I was not at all 100% confident going into my test, but from using Medic Tests it helped me really understand and retain my EMT Course knowledge.

I do wish it was a bit cheaper, but it’s definitely a “pay to play” scenario and you get your moneys worth!

Thank you Medic Tests!

Don’t think twice just download it

Was suggested to me from a coworker who when through a cohort before me. I started using medic tests four months before my scheduled test, I studied with MedicTests2026EMSEducation using their chapters then taking tests, I utilized the work on weaknesses and study suggestions, I spent two hours a day every day and did almost 20k in practice questions. My class was one of the first to take the new national so I used the call simulators in medic tests and it was almost the exact same as I saw on the national. How medic tests broke down the information and explained how to answer the questions prepared me for the test and I passed it on my first attempt. I’m forever grateful for my coworkers advice and for medic tests providing such a valuable tool for people looking to certify. Thank you for everything and good work on this application.

Good review

Would say this is a very good app and educational tool for those reviewing, however, for those that are starting, I would avoid using this until you gathered most of your information as it is not very detailed and for your exams as well as the national there is a little bit more involved, comprehensively in your books and in your classroom setting. But overall, I do think this is a very valuable tool to use.
