I still haven't been paid for last week and now it's not even showing that I worked
My son, Jesse James Haub, recently worked a couple nights for Tend; however, the direct deposit was set up over a year ago to an account that was closed. He needs to change the direct deposit to another account to get paid for the last couple night's work. He has sent a number of texts concerning his situation with no response. Can someone give him a call at 614-957-9115 or text him to help him with his situation?

I’ve had the tend app for almost 2 months and worked 4 events. Its difficult to be accepted to multiple shifts. Additionally, even more difficult to get a bartender shift. In my interview I stated I have more experience bartending but I was only able to get server shifts. Not to mention the events are UNORGANIZED, most events the floor captains are unsure or late. You’re doing more labor than what is initially listed on the job description. To illustrate, you come dressed in a white button up shirt prepared to serve but they have you unloaded the truck and moving tables. I finally get a bartender shift, I arrive at the event and there’s an abundance of bartenders confused on where they’ll be stationed. Of course the floor captain is late then when they arrive it’s turmoil because there’s too many bartenders and they don’t want to serve. I end up serving because Ryan agreed to let me leave the shift early and receive bonus pay. Come to find out the bonus pay was just a measly $30!!! and wasn’t paid for a full shift. I spoke to Ryan about it he had a complete attitude with a passive aggressive tone. “What else do you want me to do?! Completely unprofessional, I guess since he’s the co-owner he thinks it’s acceptable to talk to people any kind of way. Hence owners should never manage employees. He wouldn’t even give me the owners information, which his name is David. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WORKING FOR THESE KIND OF PEOPLE.

Here in the San Antonio, Austin region, it’s the same as the recent reviews state across the board. Rather than postulate upon their disorganization, lack of jobs compared to other apps, like Qwick and Instawork’s, lengthy selection process for the few jobs they do have I’d rather bring awareness to what this joke of an employment app IA REALLY SELLING… All our location data and whatever else these data brokers make money on off of people like you and me. Why do they insist on having g access to your location always?? Why do you have to have notifications turned on when they never send any push , only text from Tessa the Robot?
Maybe you don’t care but unfortunately, people using gig workers trying to make ends meet to make a fortune off of just “DOESNT ALIGN WITH MY VALUES.” Just admit you’re a seedy tracking, data stealing, greedy enterprise like Meta and stop making people think they’re actually going to get some work only to never be selected like the reviews state. The irony of that is the majority of the people that do get selected are lazy and drunk at every candlelight gig led by Jean and the few that are worth a dang wind up being ostracized lol. They know who they are.
TEND to the business that pays you - not the one selling your private data to broker firms for huge profits. Word! -Jennifer

This app is a complete waste of your time and energy. I downloaded it and made a profile after hearing from a friend about it. I was hoping to make some extra Christmas money. I’ve applied for multiple jobs through the app and have never been selected. At first I thought maybe people were chosen maybe first come first serve, but after being denied on several more attempts I reached out to the app for clarification. I was sent a response with a link to the selection process. Unbeknownst to the app, I had already read this in full prior to contacting them. For every job I have applied I am more than qualified, have applied within minutes of the job being posted and have only applied to jobs close to where I live. After informing the agent of this, I was told that my name would be past on to the people who “select”. Prior to this, I was thinking the app matched people based on skills or some algorithm. However now I hear that an actual human decodes. I can only speculate, but I think I am being discriminated against as my full legal name is very unique and ethnic sounding for lack of a better term. Please do not waste your time or memory on your device.
I am seriously debating contacting an attorney to see if there is a case for discrimination.
