I’ve been using the app for about a year now and up until now I have had no problems. I recently ordered food from the Atlantic and willow store and when I arrived to pick my food up the restaurant was closed. You’d think like any other food app you’d simply be able to cancel the order right? Well it’s not the simple. When you go to cancel the order you’re presented with the restaurant’s phone number to call and if the store is open you’d just call them an cancel the order but again the one I ordered from was closed. So I go online to reach out to customer service call the number listed to the website no one picks up perfect, so I write them a email. The I check the app and it’s telling me my order is completed so I give the restaurant a call and they tell me they can’t do refunds for orders via the app and that I’d have to reach out to customer service. So over the course of 3 days I’m calling the number listed on the website to no avail I even send another email. And nothing I don’t receive any type of confirmation email or text messages. At this point I’m just going to call my bank and see what my options are because I’m not letting that 17$ slide. Just figured I’d write this review as a warning to others who look to make orders via the app, if you have any issues don’t expect any customer service. All I wanted was some food not to feel robbed.

My visit on 12/18 to the Gardena location I asked the cashier if my loyal app was scan on this visit, and the gentleman said yes. I realize on 12/20 it did not, so I scanned the receipt only to receive a message that it’s old...two days???
The next issue I would like to report is for my visit on 12/29 and once again the Gardena location. I get the social distance. But after the cashier completed my order today he then bagged my order he called in the next customer, so I proceed to the beverage counter where another customer was there playing with the sodas and ice machine and then proceed to wash his hands. Out of the three employees I could not get any oof their attention for a hole fives minutes of what the guy was doing and I had to ask the employee to clean the counter. Customer should me concern with food safety as well as Covid.

1: They charge additional 30 cents for ordering through the app. It is call “Digital Service Fee”. Press the blue i next to Tax and Fee.
2: Some how I ended up ordering from a location I didn’t intend to pick up, I tried cancelling it using Order Cancel button. It tells me to call the store directly. They told me to call Customer Service number on the app. It gets to Yoshinoya headquarter, but it has been over two weeks and I still haven’t been able to talk to anyone for my refund.
