As an iPhone user who is totally blind, I was forever looking for a great app that would allow me to make my own ringtones. The thing I found so frustrating about a lot of third-party apps that allow you to do that, is a lot of them weren’t accessible with VoiceOver, Apple’s screen reader. But that frustration ended when I came across MusicToRingtone. I love how easy the interface is to use, and I especially love the fact you don’t have to connect your phone to your computer in order to put the ringtone on it. You can instantly copy it to the GarageBand app once you’re done making it and save it to your phone immediately.
Overall, this is great for anyone who wants to make ringtones out of their favorite songs. But if you’re blind or visually impaired and have been looking for a quick and accessible way to do it, look no further than the Music To Ringtone app.

MusicToRingtone is really simple to use, but it just won’t work. I upload the video I want to do, change the start and end spots, and everything is working fine up until I try to save it as a Garageband file. As soon as I click the button MusicToRingtone crashes, and nothing else happens. I tried to restart my phone, I deleted garageband and re-downloaded it, and I also deleted this app and re-downloaded it.... nothing worked. If I can find a fix for this issue, I will give it 5 stars, but for right now it gets 3.

Updated Review: The developer is amazing! He listens to the community, and does things to better MusicToRingtone ! When I updated to the new version, it worked amazing!! And I was able to change videos and songs to any ringtone I wanted, I have changed my review from 3 stars to 5 stars! Good job!!

I personally think it is amazing I tried so many app to try and make ringtones but you had to pay a monthly fee and the still didn’t work. But then I found MusicToRingtone. MusicToRingtone is a life changer I love it I made the most annoying ringtones ever 😌. Five out of five. 1billion percent recommended. All you need is MusicToRingtone and garbage band which all ready comes on you iPhone or iPod touch when you get it. It is that simple. One last thing there are no fees that I know of or seen/came across. So as far as I know it is 100% free.

This used to be an amazing app! I used it very often. One day, I needed to set many alarms but I didn’t have many songs to choose from so I went to MusicToRingtone so I could make more ringtones but when I selected my song, I couldn’t hear anything. I other music apps and my setting to make sure my phone wasn’t going crazy and I was right. It wasn’t, it was MusicToRingtone . I couldn’t make my music the right way I wanted too because I couldn’t hear anything. Please fix this. It’s the only problem I’ve ever had with MusicToRingtone.

So I was trying to make my own ring tone and I click load at the beginning (first step ) it says and I quote please allow access to your I tunes library and I went on my settings and I couldn’t find anything that will let it work for MusicToRingtone I give it. A 1 star because it won’t work but I am giving a 5 so you can see this pls help.

In the beginning, MusicToRingtone was amazing great ringtones and really easy to make, but soon after it decided to kick me out every time I try to make a ringtone. I tried deleting, removing apps, even shutting down my phone but it just wouldn’t work. Although this happened, I would still rate MusicToRingtone 4 stars the ringtones came back high quality before it shut down for me 🤩

I absolutely love MusicToRingtone, it has made waking up everyday a little better. My only problem was that after a while it stopped working. My app crashed every time I tried to share it to garage band. Please fix this because I want to continue to make more ringtones!

MusicToRingtone does exactly what it says it will do. Thank you to the developer for having a very easy tutorial video to explain the process and sure enough it worked just fine. As long as you buy the song you want to make a ringtone on iTunes you can make it into what you want! Awesome app!

This is the first ringtone app I’ve tried. I have no reason to try any other one because this one works perfectly. There are extremely easy step-by-step instructions that can be accessed from the options. They are clear and well written. Highly recommended.

MusicToRingtone works really well!! It’s also really easy to use, MusicToRingtone constantly gives you video tutorial showing you step by step on how to work MusicToRingtone . The instructions are also very easy to follow. 10/10 would recommend if you want a more unique ringtone. Great job to the creator, please continue the excellent work. :)

MusicToRingtone works really well and I can finally use songs for that I want for my ringtones without going through a whole long process to do so. Thank you for working hard to making MusicToRingtone! It’s great and I will definitely recommend it!!

Thank you for creating MusicToRingtone. It has spiced up my ringtones. Plus, it’s free! It is so easy to use, what an amazing app. I’ve created many ringtones from my favorite music videos. Every time someone calls me or my alarm goes off, instead of being annoyed of the sound, I hear my favorite songs. Thank you!!!

I have apple music which means I could get it directly from the music app I used. When I contacted them through Instagram they gave me very clear directions on how I can avoid this problem. Now I can enjoy my favorite songs just by having some call me 😂. Love MusicToRingtone!! ❤️

I was at first skeptical about it but it really does work and I was able to change my ringtone to my Kpop songs. I recommend it to my brother who also got to change to his song too. Thank you, I wanted to customize my ringtone ❤️

I love MusicToRingtone, it works great and once you know how to do it, it is very easy and simple to do. Unlike other similar app, this one does not have annoying tendencies and I enjoyed using it to change my alarm clock sound and call ringtones. ☺️👍🏼

I had been looking for a good app for ringtones for a while now and I tried this one out and it worked perfectly! For a free app, it works really well and I haven’t had any problems. I used MusicToRingtone for my ringtones as well as my text tones and alarms and it’s great!

MusicToRingtone is really good, but I think there should be a way to make the sound as long as we want. We should be able to have at least 45 seconds, not just 30. If there’s a way to make it longer please tell me.

Hello, I have been trying to set a screen recorded video as a ringtone for some time now but every time I go into garage band it just says “core audio is not available.” I can’t get it to save and I was really hoping it would work. :( please help

Hi, as a voice over user, i am glad to see apps like this one so accessible and easy to use for us hope developer decides to translate in to other languages to have more blind people enjoy it. Thanks for MusicToRingtone !!!!

I tried to make a ringtone using a video but then when I tried to export it to garageband it said “core audio not available”. I recently updated my phone to 14.3 so that may be the problem. If it’s 14.3 that’s the problem, I hope MusicToRingtone is able to be fixed eventually. :)

I'm so happy I saw this ad on instagram. If not I would be stuck with very boring ringtones. It's pretty easy to use and it actually works. Thank you for not making us pay and I hope you won't smh. Lol but thank you!

MusicToRingtone is awesome!!!! And even better, it's accessable. All buttons are clearly labled for voiceover users.

Not working for me. All my apple playlists show up in bold red, no songs.

When I press load to go to my iTunes playlists, my songs don’t show up

I have the Musi app. That’s where I get my music from. But I cannot use MusicToRingtone with it
