so to put it short InBackground has ads almost everywhere you click. what made me stop using it tho was the fact it would auto play an EXTREMELY long ad after i play a video. i can’t skip it and get this-the ad doesn’t even let you watch the video. the ad ends, you click on the video you want to watch and the cycle repeats. InBackground is borderline useless if you’re not willing to pay $9.99

I usually don’t review apps. I want the developers to see this. InBackground has a lot of potential but it’s broken with all the ads. Every time I try play a video an ad will play before the video starts and 98% of the time the ads will get stuck and just play over and over instead of the video. I can even close InBackground and restart and the add will keep playing in the background. This needs to be fixed as it’s one of most annoying bugs from an app I’ve ever had. I will continue using InBackground but if this isn’t fixed soon I will most definitely be looking for another one to replace it with.

Yes can make playlists but have to manually start each song which is very annoying for an app that is supposed to be a background app. Also has to take to this time randomly swiping and tapping on the screen to figure out how to remove a song from a playlist, the settings in the playlist only lets you reset it, and the button that says about InBackground doesn’t say a dam thing about InBackground I went to it thinking it would actually be helpful but it wasn’t even close. Just talks about the people that made InBackground and other apps they made the only reason I even use this is because I am too lazy to look for another app that runs in the background for free, even it’s extremely annoying to use

The short video ads do not make your video start once they’re over; you have to refresh and get even more pop up ads instead. The video ads stay even after paying for no ads. I’m disappointed.
An hour after I got my no-ad purchase, InBackground is giving me ads again and the developer’s website is inaccessible. Fix your app.

I only use InBackground to put down my two toddlers and is soooooo annoying when every time I try to use it it plays the ad music in the background louder then the actual music you have on yourself!! I have to restart InBackground like 10 times to get it to work Idc about ads have them but it really has an ad in the bottom of the page that play bodies like in trying to nap kids for crying out loud and it don’t want to work right sometimes it does I’ll give it that!! Make it for a way the ad don’t play nosie when you already playing your music!

You may want to reconsider purchasing the remove ads feature. I purchased the option to remove ads because they were becoming an annoyance and spending 10$ wasn’t bad considering the service offered, however, I noticed when I opened InBackground , it continues to ask me if I want to purchase to remove ads. I tried pushing “restore purchase” but InBackground crashes each time I select it. I’m disappointed. If this a bug, I hope an update fixes it soon.

InBackground was good and all, but once when I was trying to play a video, the video wouldn’t load. And it’s been like that for the past two weeks or so. InBackground was genuinely the best Background video player for me, but it’s not my favorite anymore due to how the videos won’t load in. So please just fix this problem.

InBackground is very useful, however it is not good for something listening to a playlist. I have a large playlist and don’t want to hear the same songs in the same order but cannot mix it. The shuffle feature would be a total lifesaver. Also, playlists should not pause after every song. A last feature but not as important as the others is a looping feature. That would make InBackground perfect.

im actually surprised it plays in the background unlike other apps that make you pay just to have it play the video but InBackground is actually a good one to use if you have a IOS phone!

Overall, InBackground is great! The only thing I don’t like is when I try to watch live videos, InBackground immediately crashes.

I mess with InBackground ...but like everybody else, if my playlist could all the way through that would be nice. If I got my freak playlist one I can't keep going back to my phone and hitting next lol! But other then that bravo

The program is nice but i have two issues
I have purchased the full version but still whren i make restore purchase InBackground cursh

Second issue once i play a song and leave the program it didn’t play the second song until ii open the application and select the second song.

Very amazing app and the ads don’t bother me but I really wanna suggest if you can add a loop button 🔁 and let us loop because I can’t find it and it’s probably not there so can you please add it I would be so happy thanks

Great app very straight forward. It does have ads, but you can pay to have them removed, which I did. Love InBackground

I actually didn’t expect InBackground to be as good as it is. It immediately synced with Chrome and solved issues that Chrome has with playing videos in the background! I love this! I’ve been using third party apps to play my music for a while but InBackground solved that problem and works great! Will be sharing :)

Update: I originally left a review complaining about ads. For the record, I’ve been using InBackground daily for months and I LOVE the new update! I haven’t had any of the old issues I mentioned in my first review. I’m really happy the developer was able to read our reviews and come out with an update addressing our concerns! Def will be buying the no ads version when I can! :)

InBackground keeps closing for no reason when I open it.

It would work probably 20-25% of the time. The rest of the time it would glitch and play ads in the background on repeat with no way of closing them without having to close and restart InBackground . I’d give it 2 stars max.

I used InBackground consistently now that I found it. Instead of having YouTube premium to be able to play my playlist in the background, InBackground perfectly solves the only issue I have. Truly 5/5 stars

I dont and have never downloaded the youtube app, mostly because of the ridiculous amount of ads packed into a short 5 minute video, and after all this time they still have no implemented background playback... I found that I shouldn’t be wasting my precious space with an app that doesn’t even fulfill my most prioritized needs. InBackground compensates for everything youtube does not, so I don’t find a use for youtube app anymore. Thank you so much for creating this!!! It does it all! No ads within the videos and seamless . I would actually pay for the same version of InBackground for no ads and also the ability to save bookmarks. Great app!

Gets the job done, has the occasional pop up ad, BUT it does not disrupt the music.

These ads are how they make their money.

Nothing is free in this world folks.

Hopefully this doesn’t get taken though like Google did with PV Star Radio
