Glow not working for iPhone 6 IOS 12.5.5

When I first downloaded Glow , it asked me for my first & last name. When I was trying to be connected with females, all of them looked Asian. When I got a message from a lady, she said “hi” & I said “hi” back. However, she replied back in a language that I could not understand. Also, all the profiles look like Asian women. When I was on later at night, they were still on.

As far as dating apps go this one does seem to be legitimate in that it is functional without a subscription and you can actually meet people on it.

I love Glow. I love how it is set up to be so friendly and I appreciate Glow makers so much for their intentions. I just have one minor criticism.

I understand where you’re coming from with the “only women can make the first move” rule. And I’m sure a lot of people love that idea. But for me personally, it’s a problem. Because of certain anxieties, I have a problem with being the first one to send a message. I like to know that there are guys out there who want to take the time to reach out to me. If the dude gets to be too much, all I have to do is block him. I just think that Glow would be a much better experience if everyone got the opportunity to message first, no matter the gender. If you’re worried about guys being jerks to women, just make it easier to block people.

That is all, over all I do really love Glow and will continue to use it.

When my sister first told me about this app - Video Chat, Dating early in 2016, I was hesitant and skeptical thinking "another stupid this app - Video Chat, Dating app" but what sold me was that ladies make the first move, eliminating dozens and dozens of repulsive emails, which saves a lot of time. I also like the time limit that got me moving faster to message someone I'm interested in (although I learned the time limit doesn't really make them go away forever, at least not when I was using it).
No more unwanted disgusting & creepy messages!!

Within a week I started talking to a guy I was interested in and we hit it off right away. I’ve had some not so happy endings in the past, as many of us have, and this man I met through this app - Video Chat, Dating is literally the man of my dreams!! We’ve been married just under a year and we are so happy and in love!! 😃 😃 I'm very grateful I decided to give Glow a chance or I may not have ever met this amazing man! I also recommended this app - Video Chat, Dating to a friend who has found someone she is very happy with and is getting married within the next year!

I really enjoy using Glow. My only issue so far is the mechanic in which if a match queues is made you then have 24 hours for a woman to message you. I think maybe you should be able to extend another 24 hours for free or something. Maybe add a feature that is a daily reward for logging in or something to help out the Men who can’t message the woman who have matched with them and messaged within the 24 hour. However, I’ve gotten a lot of matches as a male which I’m proud of. My advice to other males, just be honest and take time to put in information about yourself that is true. There’s no point in wasting time. I also like how this app - Video Chat, Dating is designed. If a woman messages me, it reinforces my confidence to know that she actually wanted to talk to me. So, great job this app - Video Chat, Dating for that mechanic!

So lemme start with every guy on here getting mad because they don’t get matches so they low score Glow; they have tips on how to get matches. You can’t today simply just put blurry pictures of yourself from parties and think you’ll get swipes. Try actually using the bio and don’t just link your other social platforms on it. Now that, that is said, I am a female and have a great time with Glow. It’s great that we have to talk within 24 hours because on other dating apps I hate seeing a match and never talking to them because neither one of us wants to message first. Plus I feel like their are hotter guys on Glow and more guys who at least wanna go on dates and try the whole relationship thing. just wanted to add, the man i met i on here is now my fiancé and we’re getting married in June😃

So as someone who has signed up for dating apps and had a very hit or miss experience and later signed up just to see what was out there I didn’t know what would happen but I am happy to say because of Glow I had meet my current girlfriend of almost six months. When you compare this app - Video Chat, Dating and other dating apps there is a larger pool of people who are looking for a serious relationship and not wanting to bang. I would recommend Glow to anyone who wants to try online dating for two reasons one because of the people who use Glow which for me resulted in more meaningful conversations and two you also don’t have to play what are these persons true motives. For any person who wants a relationship and is patient and has an idea of what they want this is Glow best designed for you.

i can’t even begin with how amazing my experience with this app - Video Chat, Dating has been. i like that I’m kinda forced to reach out to other people on Glow in order to start a conversation. i am also happy that most people on there are really cool and smart and are easy to have conversations with. also i will throw in a success story to top it off. this guy ended up being in the area i live and we matched and hit it off cause we had a lot in common. i then ended up finding out he was only in the area visiting and actually lived 1,300 miles away after he left. Turns out our colleges were about 4 hours apart so after a month of messaging and FaceTiming i actually went to visit him for our first date! if i hadn’t had this app - Video Chat, Dating i wouldn’t have met such an amazing person.

I redownloaded Glow a while ago and after every few swipes there was an ad for a “free trial” for this app - Video Chat, Dating boost. It was annoying to constantly have it pop up so I figured I’d give it a try. Come to find out that I was automatically charged for a 3 month subscription. It should have clearly been stated that I was not eligible for the free trial (bc apparently I had tried it years ago even though I don’t remember) but instead they just automatically charge you. This is false advertising!!! I realized this one hour into it and tried to email this app - Video Chat, Dating and cancel and this is what this app - Video Chat, Dating responded with “The reason this instant charge happened was because Apple deemed you not eligible for a trial, possibly because you have already had one previously for this app - Video Chat, Dating under a different account. In this case it is Apple that chooses to charge you immediately and that's unfortunately out of our control.”
I asked if they couldn’t cancel it entirely to at least switch me to a one month subscription but they said no. How did they decide to sign me up for the 3 month versus at least a 1 month trial?? This is very misleading and deceptive. So shady and money hungry.

I live in a small town down south, there aren’t many opportunities to meet other lesbians. So I started looking at dating apps. Almost all of them sucked, with the exception of this app - Video Chat, Dating. I got this app - Video Chat, Dating in October after trying at least 5 other apps. I talked to dozens of girls. It was great, the only downside was the amount of girls “just looking for a third”. I went on a date with one girl in December, it’s now January and she’s officially my girlfriend. I’ve always heard of this app - Video Chat, Dating as a hookup app, I went in with the mind set that nothing was going to come of it. I was just out of other options and thought I might as well give it a shot. Thank god I did. There were plenty of girls on there just looking for hookups, just friends, or threesomes. But if you stick around long enough you’ll see that there’s just as many girls who genuinely want a relationship. You just have to find the one for you.

Won’t even lie, after 4+ years on and off on this app - Video Chat, Dating, Ok Cupid, Plenty of Fish, Hinge and of course, this app - Video Chat, Dating, I’d started to lose hope. Never mind the fact that hope began to dwindle at the ripe old age of 23.. I remember hopping on this app - Video Chat, Dating one day and swiping right on a guy who had sucky pictures, but I felt called to swipe right on. Fast forward 12+ months, 500+ miles (he moved!) and countless hours of FaceTime later I can confidently say that being on this app - Video Chat, Dating helped me find one of my soulmates. Our story wasn’t smooth and seamless, and we’re still working toward that apartment in the city where we can see each other every day, but as cliché as this is: it sure was worth it. If you’re reading this and you’re losing hope, just know that there are things being orchestrated behind the scenes that you have no idea about. I have been using this app - Video Chat, Dating for a while and have always really liked it. It’s easy to use and I find that the people I have to choose from are higher quality. It’s also very easy to filter people you aren’t interested in thanks to their preferences feature. Today though, this app - Video Chat, Dating exceeded my expectations. I reported a profile (first time reporting anyone) because I had met up with him after we agreed to hangout and talk. He was not who his profile said he was and he repeatedly tried to force himself onto me. I said no very clearly a bunch of times until he finally let me leave. After I reported his profile, this app - Video Chat, Dating immediately emailed me to ask if I was okay and said that they had blocked his profile from this app - Video Chat, Dating. I was simply reporting it just in case others had the same issue with this guy. this app - Video Chat, Dating actually listened and their response was really professional and thoughtful. It’s nice to know that they take safety so seriously! Thanks this app - Video Chat, Dating!

This past month I’ve swiping left until I came across a really sweet caring genuine honest accepting guy named Levi. We’ve messaged each other for a few hours until the next day we exchanged numbers. He gave me his and I took the risk of calling him and talking over the phone and we suggest to meeting and seeing each other. Couple days of seeing and knowing each other, I’ve experience my first disagreement with a guy that I was falling for and may love in life because I did not like certain action traits he has given me. Then few hours after I calmed from my discussion with him about his action. I’ve apologize and forgave him. I truly care for this guy that I am seeing but we decide to take some time to ourselves for a while, but still keep in touch with each other as friends. When in time he’s ready to have me back I will grab hold of his caring heart for an actual relationship with me. Moral point to my positive rant is for ladies separate your match options to the right guy just be yourself, honest and trustworthy to him.

First of all, how great is it that you can now find a date, friends, and a business partner all in one app?!
I can’t speak from a guy’s perspective, but having had Glow for almost 2 years, I can say that it’s an absolute game changer. I love the concept that ladies get the first move, which as an introvert, I have come to appreciate; It has taught me to be brave and creative when starting conversations with strangers lol. It seems like most people on here are genuine, although I do wish there was just a bit more diversity. I love the time limit concept on the matches, it’s quite ingenious. It creates a sense of urgency which is great but also has its cons. Glow itself is smooth and very user friendly, plus the no limits on swiping is just the icing on the cake. If you don’t have a paid subscription however, which allows you to see everyone that swiped right on you (amongst other great perks I’m sure), it can be easy to waste a lot of time on Glow just swiping. They also notify users with cute little positive messages and tips every so often and I love it. I haven’t had any major problems with Glow , but I have met some pretty cool people, so don’t sleep on this app - Video Chat, Dating ya’ll ?

I'm not sure about all these negative reviews I'm seeing but here's a positive one for anyone who wants to see if it works. I met quite a few women on here at first I had no luck. But then I met my wonderful girlfriend and it was the easiest least stressful or awkward way possible. These other apps feel like your almost hopeless with this one the ice is broken immediately because if they message you they already like you somewhat according to your profile. You just proceed from there And we genuinely connected on almost everything. So from me it's well worth it just have patience and more importantly be honest and sincere with your information so that the right one gets it. Thank you to the people at this app - Video Chat, Dating I believe I've found the one.
