I have spent MORE than enough on this game to post an honest review. Obviously, the devs had no problem taking my money but deleted my review because, well, it told the truth. So here it goes again…

First off, let’s talk about the shadow team. Besides needing to spend close to $5k to even get the dragon, 2 of the epic immortals are locked behind a massive paywall. It averages about $3,000 to max EACH of them on the wheel. And they are ONLY available on the wheel. Once you have Siegfried or Kimiku, they will NOT appear in the market like other immortals. The only way to get them is to buy $5-$100 spin packs and blow your bank account.

Other teams are easier to get, but with the complete lack of balance between elementals, you either choose wisely or you might as well start over.

Honestly, I love this game, but for the first time in my entire life, I have to walk away because I refuse to put myself into debt to stay competitive. And make no mistake, you HAVE to spend to stay competitive. Average between $50 and $100 minimum PER DAY to keep up with the whales. And no, I’m not kidding.

This is such an obvious cash grab it hurts. They got my money. They are happy. And they will probably delete this review before anyone else can read it and save themselves the pain.

Just trust me. It’s not worth it. I’ve never once had to quit a game because it was too expensive. Until now…

Like so many games similar to this game, you start off building your kingdom in safety. You find an alliance and join like minded players. Offers pop up often for $1-5 to get you in the game and have you invest. Once invested you think well I keep playing because I put some money into it. Then that is when the whales show up, (Whales= spending $$$$). They start abusing the server and of course unless you are willing to drop $$$$, you stand no chance. Unlike other games, good luck being protected. Protective barriers (shields) cost $$$ for anything more than 4 hours. So while you sleep expect to lose all troops and resources because the 4 hour shield does nothing. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! I’m saving you time. There are many other games similar that you can invest your time in and make progress for little money. You don’t need to worry about big spenders destroying your fun. Don’t believe me try the game. In less than a week I’ve been on my server over half the people have quit. Most reviews are written after playing only a day or two because the game nonstop keeps asking for a review.

Do not play this game if you don’t like being ignored and treated like a simpleton by customer support.

I will say that this game was amazing at first. The graphics are really terrific, most game play is relatively smooth.

But the issue is with the customer “support”. An entire server did not get rewards for the biggest event currently supported in the game. After submitting to customer service, the response was “send us pictures as proof”. How they expected us to send pictures of rewards we did not receive was baffling.

Finally, when we started to complain about it publicly on their facebook page, they sent us HALF the rewards. They say it was a mistake that two events ran simultaneously, so we should only get rewards for one.

However, the other servers that had two events simultaneously got their rewards for both events.

Now, they are not even responding to tickets, only closing them.

There are many other situations like this, where customer service sends a copy and pasted response asking for photos (of course, their app does not support photos directly from your device, so I think they count on you not being able to send them anything so they won’t have to bother).

Also, as the game goes on, they nerf more and more rewards. The game that used to be fun is now just tedious. I like a good grind as much as the next gamer, but they have turned grind into months and months of tedium to barely make any progress at all.

Read before spending $$ on this game!! **Absolute worst customer care** I’ve ever dealt with. I don’t know if I’m an isolated case, but I’ve spent hundreds of $$ on this game, and not in one go mind you. Due to the game mechanics, this was over a painstaking month as they limit certain purchases that reset daily, and that’s not even the part I’m frustrated with as I know that’s how these type of games operate. The issue, after all this I can’t even use the character I paid to unlock, likely due to a bug? Here’s the thing, I have no clue because for the last 3.5 weeks it’s been the same canned response from there customer care team: “The team is aware and they are doing their best to address it, and will let you know when all is good.” How hard is it to give a little transparency? How about “Sorry it looks like your bug is an isolated incident and won’t be fixed until x time period”. Something…anything to manage my expectations as to why I can’t use a character I paid for. Or how about reimbursing in-game resources to boost my other characters? Nope, completely alienated and ignored, just the same canned response over and over, no timeline, no information whatsoever. My patience has been exhausted and I feel compelled to write this up publicly. I hope no one else has to go through the same ****show I’ve had to go through.

That’s right, it’s just another game using the same gameplay and mechanics with a fancier skin. Once again there’s another game that basically allows you to spend money, only to have it wiped off the map by someone who spent more money.

I’m happy to spend money on a game that is fair. But these types of games are not fair. They are specifically designed to allow the biggest spenders to pick on lower spenders and both can pick on non-spenders. These games are not designed to keep players long-term. They are intentionally designed to keep big spenders long-term while milking other players to satisfy the spenders.

As with all of these games, you were encouraged to spend on huge packs any enormous amounts of resources and troops. You do so thinking that by spending enough you can catch up, and stop being picked on. But you can’t. Because if you buy 1 million resources the game is designed to ensure that you need 1.5 million. If you buy 1.5 million, you will then need 2 million. The game is intentionally designed to require you to spend, and spend, and spend. But you will never catch up. You will never be bigger than the next guy because he will spend more.

And that one day that real life causes you to forget to shield your city, you will lose everything. All of your resources, all of your troops, and all of your money. But the game will be happy to sell you more to get back in the game.

Normally this game is pretty stable but the last release has some glitches which make it annoying to play. I have to restart the game app every time I switch screens or turn off the phone display. In previous versions these actions led to less than a 1 second server reconnection delay which was perfectly acceptable. Now it is 30-60 seconds to get back to what I was doing. And it happens every time with maybe one exception out of a hundred. Also, I opened a ticket in InfinityKingdom and it wouldn’t let me expedite it because I had 0/3 chances remaining for the month (I haven’t submitted even one of these in more than a month). I tried to submit it expedited anyway since I have noticed that they historically do get the number labels switched/incorrect in the game menus. But it wouldn’t allow me to, instead I got a pop up warning me that I had only 3 expedited submissions left for the month (which doesn’t make sense, they obviously meant it to say I had zero left). Lol, but it did explain where my 3 went. Unfortunately that now means I can’t expedite any of my tickets ever again( at least until they fix that bug first….not sure how long before they finally review a non-expedited ticket about not being able to expedite my tickets…Irony).

Game is addictive for sure but you’ll be better off not playing if you’re very competitive. P2W aspect will overcome a 500 day playing advantage, most people get hooked for the connections between different cultures or the constant drama. Would give 4 stars but support team is very bad. If you buy something and it doesn’t appear good luck getting it replaced. If there are selfish players who constantly curse and pillage your server there’s nothing you can do. Devs won’t ban them if they misspell curse words no matter the frequency and no ban is ever permanent unless you ask for a refund (usually a two day bans for cursing and never bans for attacking your server relentlessly).

Shadow and Holy cost $2,500 USD per maxed immortal ($10,000 for a full unit) and much more for the dragon (around $20,000 for max dragon talents). The new Chaos immortals cost $8,500 per immortal if you are patient, around $12,500 if you want to max one in a single event

A lot of fun and a lot of different strategies to implement and have fun with. Interesting take on the genre and a good amount of stuff to do if you’re bored for the day but not too many dailies where you are dragged to the game once a day on a busy day for more than a few minutes… I could do with a little easier gnome farming… usually have to run it a lot when looking for an item and don’t have a lot of chances for basic gnomes. Unfortunately I’ve run in to an issue where if I get a loading screen for any reason I have to force close and restart the game, before it was all but unplayable making even getting in to the game a 50/50 chance… now it’s a 30 second timer before my game just freezes up. Expedited a support ticket where they recommending uninstalling and reinstalling (duh) have done so a few times with no avail, their response? “Sorry for the inconvenience” I guess enjoy my money since it’s becoming increasingly frustrating and unplayable.

I recently joined the game and it was fun but once you get past lvl 12 things take a long time. Dragons take more than a day or two (literally) to upgrade and there are a tons of high lvl players that will come and destroy you. I’m used to that, but the kicker was that I was never actually able to link my account and it kept telling me that there was another name being used under my account. That’s fine as well, but it was the first time I had ever downloaded and played and now it says that there is an upgrade but will. not let me actually download the “new” version of the game but won’t let me play till I install the new version. Just frustrating that I spent a lot of hours upgrading and now I can’t even play. Good characters and it doesn’t reward players with the best heroes unless you work for it or randomly get the, through the summoning. Like I said good game and worth a try or two but ow I can’t play! Get into a good guild fast cause it does help

Very good game, but after playing it for over a year and having a former 400+ day log in streak which only broke due to an update bug I would have to say there are some game play options which could be better. One of them being: if you’re in a very developed world then we aren’t aloud to hit resource gatherers. It’s incredibly inconvenient spending five minutes trying to search for an open resource type to gather due to the search function constantly showing you spots which are already being gathered from. Ever thought we are searching for something open?

Updated: getting a lower rating because they delete my account, I’ve spend over $200 on this game. Play it for fun but not long term. Don’t spend money, they’ll just burn you in the end and make your account unreachable if they feel like it.

The game really isn’t that bad minus it taking hours upon hours just to do a level 1 research (2 hours to research really!!!). Then having to be a VIP 7 just to send an alliance member some stuff... an you say money hungry much? This is totally not cool and the fact that you just one area 36 up and you have people already in their 20s. You need to have a limit for money playing idiots or this game WILL die just like a game called Dino Wars and Mafia Wars. But then again I bet you don’t take that into consideration. Already 99.5% of these zones are ran by the money grubbing and cheating Japs or Koreans. Fix this or I have too many friends here that I can get to leave and I’ll contact Apple Support and tell them absolutely it this game and it’s biased system like 2K and WWE 2k20 is. Apple will take this off their store and I’ll do the same for Google as well.

I have played a few different games where gathering, war, and clans are needs. You can survive in this game without spending money. The characters are excellent and this game brings together items from other games. So far really cool and interesting.

I know a lot of reviews are stating it is pay to play. Yes you can spend money. But if you get in an active alliance you will get pretty far without pay to win. Yes unfortunately if you want to be a top player get out the credit as it will get expensive.

What I like about the game is if your alliance is active you can go to war and win battles. Plus the weekly and special events can be fun and you can earn good gifts. Some of the different heroes are hard to obtain without paying for them.

The one dislike I have is depending on the kingdom/server you are on it can get tricky to play if there is not an established safe zone. The server I am on has this and it has allowed me to stay in that area for long periods of time during upgrades.

Try to be patient, have fun and lastly remember there is always going to be players who just spend to win. I really enjoy this game and look forward to the next release by these creators!

This game was a lot of fun. It had plenty of individual elements but they all tied together very well. I never felt like I needed to spend money as everything was pretty balanced and there were plenty of opportunities to pick up rare immortals. Loved the gameplay! The PvP mechanics were one of the better mobile game experiences out there. Joined an alliance early on and it allowed a lot more growth. The only complaint I have is the strange backroom politics. My alliance worked really hard to grow and take a city and then were messaged and told that wasn’t part of the “plan”. I guess there’s entire discord’s out there dedicated to dictating who can take what and if you don’t agree powerful alliances band together and harass you into doing what they want. So kinda lost interest after that.

I don’t think that people can just come strolling in, spend as much money as they want, and get to castle 40. I do, however, think that paying does help you. When you first start out, you don’t feel the burn of having to pay as much. When you get to around castle 20 you have to buy quite a few immortals to have a decent army. I know the game has to make money some how but forcing players to pay is pushing it a little. I also know the game probably won’t change it but I would like to see immortals start to become attainable without paying.

A suggestion is to make it so you can get immortals if you get to a certain level in game or something like that.

Overall, I have been enjoying the game and I will keep playing it but I just wish you didn’t have to pay for good immortals. It would also pull me back into playing the game.

Let’s start by saying that I am NOT a gamer, and I previously made fun on by now-ex-bf because he played Lord’s Mobile. I downloaded it to see the hype and gave it a shot, and deleted shortly after. This game is magically beautiful and ADDICTING. Complex enough to really challenge you (it does take skill), but rewarding enough to keep you coming back. You do not *need* to pay to play, but there are a couple small purchases that significantly help. Now the graphics… INCREDIBLE. I am thoroughly impressed for a mobile game that’s free. Mind-blown really. It is extremely clean! The Immortals (which are the characters you basically collect and use to fight both computer enemies and other online players)- not only are they very intricately made, they are REAL PEOPLE with a mix of characters we all know from Mythology as well, rather than completely made up characters (this is what made me stick around before I was hooked). Cleopatra, Montezuma, Mulan, Robin Hood, etc. Also, THERE ARE FREAKIN DRAGONS!!!! Freakin awesome. Anyways, well done. Look forward to future updates.

So just to start off, this game is probably one of the best games I’ve played that are like this. Rise of Kingdoms was good but the graphics and a few other things weren’t anything like this. I love this game, and majority of the things about it. Only issues I have are how it cost so much AP to attack gnomes and other cities. The other issue is how we can only control our marches to go to either attack, Garrison, Or rally and farm. If the developers made it so we could have our marches out, And be able to control them more instead of them having to go back to the city each time they are finished with a task. Other than that, I don’t have anything negative to say.

This game is awesome and I feel like you should have it ! I know some people call it a rip-off of ROK and I felt like that to before I got the game as I was a hardcore ROK fan . But when I downloaded it I saw the amazing game it was ! It was and great fantasy game with many probably made up hero’s like Merlin and many real ones to like Joan of arc and the game felt more free and along less guidelines. You feel like your more in control.
The graphics of the game though their a different story !
Their not super impressive PC like graphics like in raid shadow legend but also not super bad like it normal mobile games they are literally just right the graphics are amazing with a very cartoony fantasy look that matches the game ! Over all I love the game and I find no flaws !

This game is great. I’d been playing ROK, when I came upon this game and I completely switched. I love the immortals and their entrances when looking at them. I love the features and the graphics. It’s very helpful when upgrading to higher tier troops and all the lower tier automatically upgrade. The dragons are fun and look good. Out of all these things and many more, the only bad thing is the AP system. Like god... it’s horrible. Everything cost ap, and the average cost is around 100 Ap. You only have a max of 1000. That may seem like a lot but everything you do outside of your city cost ap. The game only gives you a few small ap refills then you have to pay 100 gems per for the rest and they max you out at 5. I understand the reasoning behind limiting us on ap, but maybe make attacking the nomes cost no ap? Something needs to be done about the ap system.

IK is fun kingdom builder gamer with some real advantages such being able to rebirth heroes and get back/reuse all the upgrades you put into them some where else.

The game imposes a 90 day period where older players cannot join the server. However there is a way around it, players can sit on older server and max out their immortals and dragons for months plus save speed ups and buy things only older kingdoms get like city skins that provide troop buffs. They just have to stay castle level 8. Then they jump to a new server where they are many times stronger and take over the server with maxed marches and loads of saved speed ups to quickly boost up their castles. Some servers populations plummet as a result this is allowed.

So if your going to play, become a jumper (find a jumper clan on discord) or get burned by the jumpers since this tactic is much more regular now.

It has been an enjoyable experience for me and many others. However, I would like to raise a concern regarding the pricing disparities of in-game purchases across different regions.

It has come to my attention that the cost of items in certain regions, such as China, is significantly lower when converted to other currencies like USD. While I understand the reasoning behind regional pricing adjustments to accommodate varying purchasing powers, this disparity creates an imbalance in the competitive aspects of the game. Players from regions with lower pricing can max out their accounts and gain considerable advantages much faster, which feels unfair to players from regions where the prices are higher.

I kindly request that you review this pricing structure and consider implementing measures to maintain fairness across all players. This could include limiting region-based advantages or exploring alternative ways to balance the game’s competitive environment.
