Read before spending $$ on this game!! **Absolute worst customer care** I’ve ever dealt with. I don’t know if I’m an isolated case, but I’ve spent hundreds of $$ on this game, and not in one go mind you. Due to the game mechanics, this was over a painstaking month as they limit certain purchases that reset daily, and that’s not even the part I’m frustrated with as I know that’s how these type of games operate. The issue, after all this I can’t even use the character I paid to unlock, likely due to a bug? Here’s the thing, I have no clue because for the last 3.5 weeks it’s been the same canned response from there customer care team: “The team is aware and they are doing their best to address it, and will let you know when all is good.” How hard is it to give a little transparency? How about “Sorry it looks like your bug is an isolated incident and won’t be fixed until x time period”. Something…anything to manage my expectations as to why I can’t use a character I paid for. Or how about reimbursing in-game resources to boost my other characters? Nope, completely alienated and ignored, just the same canned response over and over, no timeline, no information whatsoever. My patience has been exhausted and I feel compelled to write this up publicly. I hope no one else has to go through the same ****show I’ve had to go through.

Like so many games similar to this game, you start off building your kingdom in safety. You find an alliance and join like minded players. Offers pop up often for $1-5 to get you in the game and have you invest. Once invested you think well I keep playing because I put some money into it. Then that is when the whales show up, (Whales= spending $$$$). They start abusing the server and of course unless you are willing to drop $$$$, you stand no chance. Unlike other games, good luck being protected. Protective barriers (shields) cost $$$ for anything more than 4 hours. So while you sleep expect to lose all troops and resources because the 4 hour shield does nothing. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME! I’m saving you time. There are many other games similar that you can invest your time in and make progress for little money. You don’t need to worry about big spenders destroying your fun. Don’t believe me try the game. In less than a week I’ve been on my server over half the people have quit. Most reviews are written after playing only a day or two because the game nonstop keeps asking for a review.

Do not play this game if you don’t like being ignored and treated like a simpleton by customer support.
I will say that this game was amazing at first. The graphics are really terrific, most game play is relatively smooth.
But the issue is with the customer “support”. An entire server did not get rewards for the biggest event currently supported in the game. After submitting to customer service, the response was “send us pictures as proof”. How they expected us to send pictures of rewards we did not receive was baffling.
Finally, when we started to complain about it publicly on their facebook page, they sent us HALF the rewards. They say it was a mistake that two events ran simultaneously, so we should only get rewards for one.
However, the other servers that had two events simultaneously got their rewards for both events.
Now, they are not even responding to tickets, only closing them.
There are many other situations like this, where customer service sends a copy and pasted response asking for photos (of course, their app does not support photos directly from your device, so I think they count on you not being able to send them anything so they won’t have to bother).
Also, as the game goes on, they nerf more and more rewards. The game that used to be fun is now just tedious. I like a good grind as much as the next gamer, but they have turned grind into months and months of tedium to barely make any progress at all.
