I do not believe English is the developer’s first language. Either that or they hired terrible writers. I noticed before I purchased it was hard to understand the message because it was so lamely written, but then I thought well it will probably get better. It didn’t. I got a refund. Plus sometimes it’s confusing as to what artwork they’re comparing something to. One story had a small image in the middle, no caption (??), so I thought it might be the comparison referenced to the original art but when I clicked on it for a larger image (and maybe a reference to what I am looking at) it opened to a blank screen. Main issue, though, is simply horribly explained.

2nd review (two-star): I’ve been a paid subscriber for close to a year. Suddenly all my premium content is locked. Cannot restore purchases. Cannot make purchases. This still gets two stars for at least having a great home screen widget. But it’s useless if you can’t access to see who the artist is.
1st review (five-star): I’m working towards my masters in art history and I adore this app. I’ll be sending it along to my instructors and classmates for sure. Would be great if you could sort the giant page of works you can go to by category, e.g., if I want to sort all the abstract art by date, artist name, or the name of the work.

I wish there was an app that wanted to educate people and not worry about making a profit from subscriptions, the app looks wonderful but I cant tell you anything about it because I do not want to pay 7.99 a month to use it! I’d much rather have ads and use the app and then further choose to buy ad free AFTER being able to use the app and explore the features. There’s more beneficial ways to make money from your app that help you AND the consumer. Very few can afford this on top of all other subscriptions the average person has.
