Possibly the worst app for enterprise video comm

This app hardly ever works for users (everyone at my org is issued an iPad). The bugs seem to be unpredictable and plentiful. Endless playback issues, video/audio desynchronization. Blank video, working audio one day. No audio, working screen, no video the next. Headache for our own tech services. Panopto tech services are responsive, but tickets don’t lead to resolutions.
The web interface for users is better, but still buggy. Seriously consider alternative services if you are an iPad/iPhone heavy org.

Love the fact that Panopto has an app, but why in the world (in the year 2021) can we not cast the video? Nearly every other platform has the capability, but not Panopto - not via computer or phone.
Our college uses this program to record lectures. It would be amazing to cast these to the television and take notes while watching.
Also can’t watch the web version from my phone, because of the cookies requirement.
Apps need more organization

My stuff is hard to use and, for the most part, useless because it only shows recently watched and bookmarked videos. The most frustrating part is the search result; it shows every video that contains the word in the search. It is just impossible for mobile use.
