This game is ok. It always makes my phone hot, and of course it runs my battery down quickly. It always takes forever to open, there’s no way to turn the animations off, you never have enough homes/businesses/hotels to place on all your properties and I absolutely HATE the police station and public transport. Once my phone gets hot, the game animations start to slow down, so if I’m trying to collect rent, it takes a good 5-10 seconds to actually get it; don’t be in the middle of fixing one of your public locations while your phone is hot because then your movements are delayed because of the heat. If you’re doing the second round of fixing a public location, DO NOT swipe away a text, go to another app, nothing that will interrupt you in the midst, because then it’ll automatically take your time away to try and get you to use diamonds. It takes forever to earn diamonds too. I’ve acquired the Paris property I think, but haven’t even tried to play in that city. I have an iPhone X and my software is current.

Graphics are great, which is the ONLY reason it gets 3 stars. HOWEVER, the mini games are always the same, waaaay too frequent, and the rent challenge you can’t turn off if you don’t want to participate. I’m getting tired of being put into a rent challenge just bc I’m collecting my rent on my spaces. I don’t want to always be a part of that challenge! I should have the option to not do it. But the only way that I can not do it is if I don’t collect my rent for the whole time the challenge is going on. Which is ridiculous!

The mini challenges are exactly the same for each country, too frequent, and just boring. Remove them or put in something different!

I’m now almost to the point where I have all of the places on each country! Why not add more to each of them and give it a different look for once? Have an interface that changes every now and then?

It’s a shame that it’s such a nice game to look at but the rest seriously needs a lot of updates, not an update every six months 🙄, and MASSIVE INGENUITY in order for this game to become a five star rating.

I was really excited when I found this, and I wanted to love it. In fact, I did love it… for about a day and a half. Then it got old. As others have stated, there is little opportunity to build after a certain point, so I have properties that are bare or nearly bare. I have only acquired properties up to Tennessee Avenue. I don’t have the cards to build new hotels or houses, nor am I getting those cards. I primarily get upgrades and occasionally a business, which doesn’t do me much good without hotels or houses. I have three properties that have little to no buildings, but the missions want me to keep buying more properties, and do what with them??? I’m so incredibly disappointed. Great idea, but poorly executed if you run out of game play in two days.

This game does have some real great potential, but a few things that is making me say good bye to this one. It starts you off with a little currency and thats ok until ya get to an auction to outbid a computer generated sale. I lost nearly all my currency trying to buy a light blue, (oriental ave). Bidding start at 1.5 k. After 7 tries it almost outbid me on all my currency, therefore forcing me to pay real money to continue or wait a day or so for two or 3 of the homes i could buy to complete first two or three tasks. Now i have to wait for the little rent to add up and have nothing to do. Already blocked after first 30 minutes, so this one is purely a dud and being deleted after finishing this review. My message to MONOPOLYTycoon people….”Stop starting off a game with greed”. Thats the quickest way to lose people before they even get started.

I had fun when I first started playing, but now it’s just pointless. You can upgrade the cards up to 20, but it does not get you anymore in rent. What’s the point in upgrading? Even though you can do up to 20 you still get those cards from card packs. Why? I will pay some games on playing, but not to continuously getting cards that serve no purpose. For 3-4 months I’ve had missions to update 4 or 5 star buildings, but you can’t even get those buildings. Millions of dollars to upgrade when it doesn’t increase the rent? Really? It’s just monotonous. Needs to be some changes to this game or I’m done and moving on.
Also the names of the buildings/properties are you telling me you couldn’t do any better? For example cottage #1,2,3 etc. You couldn’t take the time to make up different names for these places?

First off, I don’t like the fact that there are many upgrade cards and little new building cards. Second off, you should be able to buy a particular building card you want, not just wait till a random card is given to you and hope to get the card you need. What I really hate the most if the bidding, I’ve never won any bid below the market value, it’s always above and it doesn’t make sense to me. You should be able to be lucky a few times to get lower bids but those computers raises the stakes all the time, it’s really frustrating. Also the game lags and makes my phone very hit whenever I play. I really like the game but it’s frustrating to play sometimes. Thanks.

I actually love this game but found myself tired of playing really fast. The game offers many ways to get card packs. These cards can be used to purchase new buildings or upgrade existing ones. I found myself watching ad after ad trying to get as many card packs as I could. After a while, I noticed I was never getting any new homes or hotels. The cards are almost ALWAYS an upgrade. Then you get objectives to complete and they want you to build 5 new homes on a property. This goal is simply unachievable given the game never gives out new cards. The auctions can get pretty ridiculous: Why is the computer constantly raising the bet FAR above the retail price? I can “lose” an auction because the computer continued to outbid me.. then later go back in and pay under the retail price.

I previously rated this game 4 out of 5 stars. I like all the mini games that allow you to earn more coins that help you reach the higher levels. Since I have reached level 34 it only gives you 10 diamonds and no cards for properties. This game crashes all the time. Watching adds doesn’t give you rewards. Many times it will crash in the middle of auctions or after watching ads you will get a black screen then MONOPOLYTycoon shuts down for no reason. The developers are unresponsive. I have left many messages in MONOPOLYTycoon . Improvements I would suggest; It would be nice if you could buy property packs such as a landscaping package with cash or diamonds, cafe pack, or hotel pack or house package. Now that I have reached level 40 It doesn’t look like you can go any higher. I am disappointed that this game doesn’t work better.

The auction house is a little decent aside from the ai doubling the bid for no reason and making the count off so suspenseful to lose or end up spending all your money for one upgrade or property; especially considering the number of properties needed to get to move on from Atlantic. I dont know how long the devs. expect people to be playing this game but it makes it quite a drag repeatedly waiting for the auction house to reset when the game knows what i need. The fact that i have to spend at least 150k to increase my rent by 16k how does that make sense to any of the developers the ai are really ridiculous when it comes to the auctions.

I really enjoy playing this BUT what bugs me the most is almost always getting out bid by the fake believe players!!!! Makes me want to delete the game. They bid it up past what the property is worth!! Also tooooo many upgrade cards and not enough hotels or new homes to build. You shouldn’t have to borrow a building from another property you should just be able to build a new one. Need to be able to get more diamonds so you can eliminate a ridiculous mission. Now that the game makes you sign a contract EVERYTHING has changed. You can’t get diamonds every four hours, prices on properties has risen, only get two cards instead of three, price percentage increase on a property went way down and only lasts an hour. The list goes on. I liked the game before you took so much away and was playing on three devices. Since I made first place in the rent o thon on each device at different times I feel like there’s no where else to go so I will begin deleting MONOPOLYTycoon from two of my devices and just continue playing it on only one. Be happy I gave it three stars. If you hadn’t ruined the game I would’ve given it five. MONOPOLYTycoon freezes up a lot!! I have to constantly delete and reinstall it on each device and I only have apple products. I wish this could be fixed. I’m grateful no progress is lost by this but it’s getting old.

I enjoyed this game at first though I had a lot of challenges getting started. However I have been playing while and have all 3 cities open. Card packs give me only upgrades and the cost of the continual upgrades keep me stuck in trying to raise the money to clear them out of my inventory. I have missions that I can’t complete because I don’t get build cards. I have all properties in Atlantic but only about half or less of the spaces have buildings. I’m okay with having spaces to improve but I can’t build if I don’t get build cards. Game is starting to get boring and redundant.

I enjoy this game, and the fact that it is clearly not a pay to win game, but the one thing I really hope you guys can fix, or add, are managers for the businesses. I hate having to go in 3,4,5 times a day, and having to “repair” issues with every business. It would be awesome if you guys added 1 manager PER business, and that they cost maybe 50 gems each, since it’s pretty hard to come by gems. If you guys can add this in, I will gladly raise the rating of this game. It’s just annoying, and kind of frustrating (although I know the repairing is easy mini games) to have to repair every few hours. Thankyou for taking this review into consideration, and I hope you guys allow this addition into the game.

Player experience is very bland. I’ve been waiting on this game hoping someone would remake it. The original had customization options on buildings that added to how many people and the worth of your city. This one is a rinse and repeat. I’d love to see a stock market where you could get the cards you need for money in the game. A way to trade between players. Also game play is lack luster because you have to follow the tasks. If you could build at your leisure it would greatly improve strategy if the game. I guess that’s it… this should be a strategy game.

I’m putting three stars because the concept is great. I’m just having a major problem.

My screen gets stuck when it’s time to do the first mission. Literally. It’ll say that I’m ready to do one, I’ll click the flashing icon to open the menu, it’ll go to said menu, and I can’t go anywhere else. I can’t build, I can’t hit Continue, I can’t exit out of the prompt…. I’ve tried uninstalling and redownloading multiple times, I’ve tried force-closing MONOPOLYTycoon , and I’ve even restarted my phone to see if that helps. (It doesn’t.)

Please help me figure out a solution to this. I really want to play.

The game was good until it wasn’t; pretty much right after you acquire all of the buildings 1-3 stars. You can occasionally get 4-star buildings, but 5- stars? In 3 months of religiously collecting all free card packages every 4 hours or so, claiming “Go” rewards, buying card packs with diamonds (which I bought with money), watching ads I only got 1 5-star Building. You pretty much have to buy them (buy that card package which guarantees one 5-star, or pretty much buy all cards from the roulette) which will not be cheap if you think about it.

You are better off playing sim city. Erased the game.

I will even admit to spending some money on the limited time packages for the early access to the buildings and the cards. I now regret that, because I am left with all 3 cities open with cookie cutter neighborhoods, that I can’t possibly make enough resources to go around, and haven’t played in about 3 weeks waiting for news of a major update that is going to excite me about the game again. Still as a fan of Monopoly Tycoon from way back I know I will be back with an update but my over excitement ran out of game.

I played a similar version on my old computer. Graphics are awesome and it moves relativity quickly, although sometimes it will drag if you’ve got difficult missions. Yes, there are a lot of ads, but you have to choose to watch them, and the prizes are very generous. My only problem is that, after you’ve played for a long time, you very rarely get new businesses or residences. Everything is updates, which is more than a little annoying when most cards are updates of foliage, monuments, etc. that you only need so much of. It’s wasted when more buildings are needed.

This is a pretty fun city builder based off of monopoly however there are a few things which could use some improvement; 1)I feel like we don’t receive enough new house’s, hotels, businesses and parks in order to fill up the properties we have available. I don’t spend money on this game so the items I have are the ones the game gives me for complaining Objectives but whenever I purchase a new property I have to move almost all my buildings from other properties onto the new property in order to complete the objectives which means most of my properties remain undeveloped. 2) The developed properties I have are always because a resident on a property will want for example a grocery store on their property So I then have to move something off of the property and add whatever the resident wants which means my properties are constantly being changed

Overall the game I enjoy so far playing a good 10 mintues but the turtorial felt really long like you can definitely cut that down a little bit and people will still understand how to play. How do I get the houses that say find me am I suppose to level up the properties to gain more houses? That’s all i have to say right now I’ll add more once I get deeper into the game Updated* Played a little bit more and k see how to get the house cards you simply just level up. The other complaints I would is one so much HUD I don’t like it how much hud is on their. 2 the auction is so expensive it would be fine but if your playing consecutive for a long time your gonan be there for hours waiting because your averaging 1-250 bucks per like 3 minutes. Once you upgrade a property to the next level you don’t gain more money you do but not a not rent should increase for example start at 1.25k then level 2 goes to 3K then level 3 7.5k and level 4 15k for example That’s just what I feel imo

First off I want to say that I do like this game it is good, but I think it could use some more updates to make it great. Some things(I know some other comments have already mentioned some) like more area than the three that are already on there. I think the other ones got loaded at like level 12 of the one before so when I hit 12 on London and nothing happened I was a little sad, but kept going. Now I’ve kinda hit a wall in the game. I know it’s a game of chance, but when I need to build just hotels or just houses for a property and only get business or decorations it’s annoying and takes a lot longer. So just something that can make it flow more once you get to higher levels would be great. I do like the mini games, but if the reward has cards in it I would be more likely to play them more often. At this point you just get money and xp from them, I don’t usually need either of those, I need cards to advance. I am still currently playing although not as often as I was initially, but I see great potential and am holding out for some better updates 🤞

I’ve downloaded this game a few days ago and so far it’s very impressive to play. The graphics have come a long way if this is the same company that has done Roller Coaster Tycoon. It follows the same format. You earn money based on the rent you collect from each property. You collect cards that are used to upgrade houses and businesses. The one thing that is different from RCT is that there are these mini games you play with the utilities. This is where my complaint lies. They’re really cool games! However, I can’t complete them in a timely manner. And I don’t mean, “Oh shoot, I was soo close! Let me add on 10 gems to finish this”. I mean, I’m no where close to finishing it. So it’s frustrating to see the “wrench” on my screen all the time. They’re great games, just take the timers away from some of them.

I play the old monopoly game on my desktop computer about two and three times a week. This monopoly tycoon is much better, because you can build different things on your property. You can put businesses and different size homes homes on the same property and make money right off the bat. You don’t need to buy all the colors in the same color unit to build a house. You could build a house or a company just on one property, without buying all of the same color. More freedom to make money. I really enjoying this game. It’s much better than the old monopoly. I just started this game and I really like it already. I love games that you can build on.

At first I never really played it I was confused with it. But then I decided to try again because of the reviews! I am definitely starting to warm up to it I feel like it’s gonna take a long time to progress and I line tycoon games like that. This is hands down the most unique tycoon game I have ever played and I hope they keep coming up with more updates And places and things to do! And can I just say the VISUALS!!! OF THE GAME IS amazing love it!! Huge plus and huge bonus. PLEASE DONT STOP!

Since I didn’t want to spend money on the actually monopoly game I gambled for this one. I have no clue how the other one works but I absolute love this one !! There’s always something to do and you don’t have to wait long to collect money . Not only is it a time killer game but it’s also very engaging. It has a constant concept but it changes little by little so it’s just not the same thing repeating over and over. I love this and I think you would too !!

It is very different than the original and yet oddly somethings are almost the same, you should know I’ve been playing for 20 minutes, and it’s confusing, but they help you know what to do next, ( thank goodness) so much going on at once and a lot of ways to get money without buying some, no ad’s yet so that’s great. Want a bit of a challenge? Get this game, I don’t think will be disappointed for the most point, not everyone will like it,that’s natural, but it’s fun.

Originally when I first reviewed the game I gave it 3 stars. But then I realized the game is a month old and the developers are still figuring out how to balance everything out. I play this game daily and it’s a great break from my busy work day. There are a few things I would love to see implemented to make the game better
1. A leaderboard to see how you compare to players around the world
2. Make diamonds a little easier to obtain? I was stuck on a mission for weeks just waiting for 4 star cards. Maybe create a “shop” so you can purchase specific cards in order to complete missions quicker?
3. Increase mini game experience relative to the level of the card. I’m not a fan of the 42k after ad cap it’s at now
4. In game events similar to your roller coaster tycoon touch game where you can earn cards, diamonds, unique event cards, etc
5. Keep the updates coming. I would love to see this game to continue to evolve and grow

I love this game. You don’t have to spend any real money on it unless you want to, there’s no ridiculous wait times on anything, hardly any ads unless you wanna watch them to get extra bonuses. Honestly the only thing I had an issue with is having to press on every building to see the needs but then I saw I could literally just switch the switch over to needs so that solved that lol. Sometimes I get disappointed about what cards I get but I guess if you got what you wanted everytime it wouldn’t be very fun in the long run. Overall highly recommend

one of my favorite mobile games that I’ve played in a while. gives you plenty to do while also making it very easy to generate tons of money while you’re offline. my own complaint is that there’s no way to pay for the removal of ads in the game. it’s the only thing that slows the momentum down, and I like the game so much that I’d be willing to spend $10 or $20 just to remove the ads entirely. other than that, great game
