Openroad: Help in a Car Crash Reviews

When driving our mind is focused on just that, driving, hopefully. I don’t know about you but when I arrive at my destination, unless there’s something bad that happened, I don’t remember the moment to moment of the trip. How did I perform? Did I obey the rules and was I safe and courteous? How do I stack up with others?
Open road tracks the moment to moment for five days and lets you know. I am proud of the rating they gave me. Here’s to driving safely for us all.

I’m glad I have it if a accident I know they are right there for me if I’m sick I just have to push a button I think everyone should have it it is just like having on star if I’m lost just push the button I like the idea they test my driving too I had a heavy foot know I know they are keeping track of my driving I’m doing a lot better and they know I’m home safe try it you can cancel anytime unless you are doing something wrong

How this work? I seem to be interesting of Openroad. Ask for my phone number that you call and check on me. One problem. Have you ever thought about deaf people who can’t hear the phone to check on us?? Will it detect where it crash at? Can they text me if I able to text back? If unable to text will they get contact the emergency to find me where it crash? Awaiting your reply. Thank you Tracey

Just d/l Openroad . Willing to try it. Only had been in 1 accident in Costa Rica when a gentleman rear-ended me but if this works the way it’s saying, then awesome. I’ll see if I can get my dad to d/l it too. But my one question is, will it know the difference btwn a car crash and if I took a crash while downhill mtn biking? I go downhilling in the summer and I do crash sometimes. Can’t always get to my phone in time but I want to make sure what will happen if I crash while bicycling downhill.

Been using it a week and have received a ton of notifications. Safety scores, requests to rate, yada, yada, yada. There is no way in Openroad that I can find to tell it what you do and do not want to receive, so I just disabled all notifications for Openroad . I like the idea of Openroad but am absolutely not willing to put up with spam for it, sorry. Hopefully it will still work in the event of a crash with the notifications disabled. If not, I am no worse off than before I installed Openroad .

I had Openroad report I was in a car accident when I was not and Openroad was not open on my phone and running so I got a call from the police asking where I was and if I was ok and that freak me out cause I feel like a resource was being taken away from someone who needs it more and during Covid that is not ok so please fixed but I guess I know it works now

Are used to have a car with On Star and felt very safe in the mountains. I sold my little sports car and I now have an older Chevy Suburban which suits my needs. The only bad thing was I miss the On Star Security. With open road I have that Security back. I’ve not had to use it thankfully, but I feel safe knowing someone will be notified if Something happens.

I’m just seeing Openroad and I am reading the reviews. I have not downloaded as of yet. However, I use google maps while driving for directions through my radio. However, can I use your app also while driving without interruptions from directions?

Crash detection and tells people you list is great. Sadly you might be involved in a crash where you’re unable to call for help in this case Openroad works great to advise those people that you’ve been in a crash when you’re on able to tell somebody else or emergency personnel.

As a single person plus driving at night to get work Openroad really helpful if happens to me a car accidents. I hope not to have any car accident but never know when may happen. So I would like to thank you app developer I know this is a trial until March 31, 2020 after that you may charging us but it doesn’t show how much if not expensive I’ll think about.

I feel so safe using it with how many accidents I hear on my police scanner I feel so safe know if it’s a bad accident your there to get help to us if we can’t

I travel
For work and I drive mostly. Sometimes I could be in places tat are very dark and scary lol. I have been in few accidents already because I was over working myself and barely sleeping :( so this type of an app is just great for me and it can save a life 1000%. I recommend it!

I was driving into my driveway way and accidentally hit my metal trash can. I immediately received a message asking if I was involved in an accident. Completely embarrassed but so relieved to know that this app definitely works! Get Openroad for your entire family!!!!

Just seen this a immediately downloaded Openroad . With all the crashes I have seen lately this will be good to have going to get my wife to download this as well being that we are on the road a lot it’s a good pice of mind to have thank you developers. Sincerely Robert.

Best thing since OnStar. I travel 80 miles a day for work. On the highway late at you never know what is going to happen. Highly recommend this for your family

Good to know there people out there that cares about drivers out there delivering products to everyone in America hopefully things can change to the better thanks.

Thank goodness I haven’t had to use Openroad, but finally an app that’s designed to save lives & offer aid & comfort to those that use it ! What a wonderful concept for those of us who does not have or can afford “OnStar” or similar devices. Thanks developers for offering this free app !!

I love it, but you forget sometimes you have to stop fast and hard because of the other drivers that pull out in front of you.

Just Downloaded Openroad. This could possibly be one of the most important Apps on any phone . Easy to set up and requested only useful information , phone number and location of phone. I have great expectations. Jay

This is a must have app for teen drivers. As a parent, having the piece of mind of knowing that someone is monitoring my child’s safety while driving is priceless. If only there was an equivalent app for their dating.

Possibilities are endless with this platform. Excited to see what these peeps can build! Current product is super smooth- amazing onboarding process.

This was super-easy to set up. I never want to get in a crash but it’s nice to know something like this exists. I asked my wife to use it too.

Got an email saying to download this preorder as it was ready. Well, it’s not. If you try to register on the first screen (required) you get an error saying it’s not ready. So basically it is useless at this time c

Can’t seem to find how to contact developer on their website but got the invite to download Openroad tonight but can’t get past the name. Get an error “bad request”
