I have relied on the WTKR app for years. It seems that this update took a rather sleek interface and bogged it down with irrelevant fillers and advertisement. The addition of historical /political biographies masked as news was a poor choice as well.
Messed up a good app

The old app let me start a video, then minimize it to a smaller window. Meaning I could watch and still use other apps. This new one, it’s bad. Messed up a good app for what?
