Wordzee! - Puzzle Word Game Reviews

I had left a one star review about a week ago after contacting tech support (a month ago) to no avail about the disadvantage of not having the option to watch ads for extra letter exchanges like my opponents do. Just as I was ready to quit after a rare two day absence, I played today and the ad option is back. The only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is because I’m cautiously optimistic it will not happen again.

On another note, as to the reviews about all the scammers who try to chat, I used to have that problem at an epic level on another game until I informed the scammers that I worked for the FBI Cybercrime Division and I played to uncover and prosecute scammers particularly from Nigeria….”hello dear, yes dear, are you married dear…” Actually, in reality it is my fiancé who works with the FBI. At any rate, I do believe they share this info among their fellow scammers who they feel is an easy target because I have not had problems on ANY games anymore. My suggestion is if you don’t want to block your chat feature from others, be very direct and tell them you are affiliated with cybercrime/security and report IP addresses and fraudulent accounts. It would also help if users could pull up a larger version of a players profile pic so they could run an image search on the web which will possibly show who the account holder really is.

This has been a continuing problem … Contacted tech support a month ago when this first happened. They replied fairly quickly, and I was advised to toggle airplane mode/restart phone which did solve the issue for awhile. When it cropped up again a few days ago, I tried those methods which made no difference. Contacted support again but waited two days for an answer. I was told “no problems” and that “ads had run out.” What?!?!? How many times do you see the same ad multiple times in a row? I am frozen out of play now and will lose a game to “time out” which I likely would win if I could swap. Ironically, this issue seemed to start about the same time I anted up for a bunch of diamonds … maybe that was a huge mistake, as WordzeePuzzleWordGame expects me to blow through those very quickly in order to get the swaps I need now.

This is my favorite game app. I have played 110 days in a row since I discovered it, and there are so many people I’ve played who have been playing much longer than I have. Please fix WordzeePuzzleWordGame! I used to experience blank screens during ads (Chik-Fil-A was the worst … they have disappeared for awhile) which was annoying. That seems to have been resolved — but when players are locked out of play for no apparent reason, there’s a big problem.

I love this game I would give it five stars except for a couple of little things. I’ve been playing this game for quite a while I was already playing when you switch things around and now you get card packs to get tiles. I have been waiting a very long time to get the dragon egg tile and the spell book tile. I have not been able to get anything for the wand for the spell book or the sword for the dragon egg. I have bought several card packs but still don’t have it I need to get either of those tiles. It’s not gonna stop me from playing the game the game is great. My other little pet peeve is the daily challenge. First you got a tile when you did seven days in a row which is good for a start to get people interested. The next one was for 30 days which I think is perfect every 30 days to get a new tile but once I finish the 30 days I found that I have to go another 150 days to get another tile that’s crazy every 30 days would be perfect. If you fix those little things my review would go up to the fifth star because I think this is a fabulous game

Considering I loved this game, I feel bad giving it this review. But my love for it is in the past due to the last few “updates”. First, removing the old look was something I found annoying, but I could get past. Second, the sketchiness of the “daily” activities with me already apparently completing some before I even played or having it not be possible to complete some at all was really really annoying, but again I could get past it because I still liked the game. However, three strikes you’re out. With the VERY recent removal of of the Showdown, AND ALL MY GAME DATA, I refuse to try to keep playing. That was the only reason I still went in daily. That was the only part I played AT ALL! I’m a completionist by nature and I wanted to collect and finish all the tasks, but you easily deleted my ALMOST 300 GAMES and took away the only thing I was going for. I know I play to many games, so thank you for making it so easy to give up a game I was hooked on.

I’ve updated my review because I realize I still do like playing the game occasionally, just not daily. And I got a wonderful response from the game creators...

This game is actually so much fun, but the developers continually screw it up by not allowing the option to watch a video in order to swap tiles. In the beginning this was a continual option, but for the past month it’s over. Here’s another frustration for when they were allowing the option of watching ads; I’m willing to watch up to a 15 second video no matter what it is, and some are, but many are between 30-45 seconds long!! It’s just too much!! I refuse to watch it. I will put my phone down upside down or walk away and come back. There’s no reason why ads have to be so long! It upsets the game time!
For those who’ve never played this game, this is one of those games that you can’t pay a flat fee to do away with the ads. No! They will charge you by the month!! Who does that?? Not me! It’s a total rip off! So I think the reason they’re no longer allowing the watch a video option is because they realize people really like the game and they want to make it nearly impossible to play unless you pay by the month for ad free! NO THANKS!!

I absolutely love this game and I love the aesthetic! Soooo cute! My number 1 complaint would be that I wish there was a feature where if you tap on the word you are able to see the definition! They have this feature in words with friends app and I think it’s amazing. It allows you to learn more while you play! PLEASE PLEASE add it🙏🏼
My second suggestion is that they offer more ways to access the new tiles, tickets, and gems? It seems like there are limited ways to get those and seems like I have to wait a long time to finally get the tiles I want! Maybe more purchasing options as well?
Lastly, the ads do not really bother me too much, but I would absolutely pay $2-$5 to play the game with no ads. They offer this option in other games and I would be willing to pay a small amount in order to access the game without ads.
Other than those suggestions....I absolutely LOVE this game. My favorite game in WordzeePuzzleWordGame store! Good job!

I enjoy this game. I give it 4 stars because:

1. WordzeePuzzleWordGame is oddly buggy. It hangs to connect with the daily games like Totalizer, High Score, and Daily Challenge. It also sometimes hangs connecting to individual challenges. Something is not right in the software.

2. Ads. Ads. Ads. Ads are frequent and very sticky . They tend to be in at least 2 parts - the demo and the learn more screen with a little X in the corner. Sometimes tapping on the X will close ad immediately. Sometimes you have to wait 5 seconds or more. Sometimes an add will simply freeze the game and you have to exit and come back. This is especially irritating if you are playing an ad for an extra bonus because you lose the bonus.

Sometimes the ads have no sound if your phone is muted, which is good. Sometimes the ads do have sound even if your phone is muted, but there is a speaker icon to turn the sound off. This is annoying, but not a deal breaker. Sometimes the ads play sound reven if your phone is muted, but there is no way to mute the ad; you just have to turn down the volume on your phone. This is obnoxious.

I would pay $5 for the game, but the game is not worth $5/month to me to remove ads.

The upside of the disruptive ads is that I don’t play as much as I would without them.

Wordzee! Is a really fun game and you can use your brain to basically come up with as many, and as big, of words as you can. The one thing I don’t like about it, though, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because whenever I play an instant game, the other person comes up with a simple word and it gives them a score over 50 on the first round. So you basically have to get a wordzee if you want to beat them. And it only happens with the instant game. Whenever I play an actual game where I have to wait for them to play, they get around the same scores that I get based on the row they put it in. I don’t know if this is a glitch, or if I’m the only one experiencing this and I’m just bad at the game, but it is really annoying. My brother even helped me with words a couple times and he thought it was really annoying too that they get such big scores for such simple words.

The game itself gets five stars from me. Maybe the most enjoyable game I’ve ever played on my phone. I have a 178 day streak and have looked forward to playing every day. But, the ads have recently increased to the point that I play less and less each day. I accept that ads are a part of free games but some of the ads are way too long and the multiple steps to dismiss the ads have recently gotten more frustrating. Beyond the ads, my only other complaint is with the bells & whistles and frills and graphics, etc. I hate when the game gets paused because of some silly graphic after each play. Sounds trivial but it adds up over time. It’s not that I don’t like, for example, leveling up or winning a new tile, but there’s too much pomp and circumstance to it. I just want to play the game—an absolutely great game.

This game is great, not too easy, or too hard. Challenging enough to keep you coming back, but absolutely “beatable”. You can choose if you want to play based on your skill level, or if you prefer randomness, you can do that too. You don’t have to spend money to keep progressing, and you’re not bombarded with a ridiculous amount of ads either. There are ads, but not after every single move you make. Not even after every level. They’re not repeated, or so long that you literally want to pluck your eyeballs out either.
Anyway, if you’ve read this far, I sure appreciate it, and bottom line…10/10 would recommend!! Keeps you busy, works your brain, and is fun too!! Enjoy!! 🤗🤗🤗

Scan down these reviews, and see how many women complain of the “creepers.” They are referring to guys with fake photos, targeting women to scam for money later in whatever chat platforms they might succeed in luring them to. They all supposedly work abroad. They are “chemical engineers” and “orthopedic surgeons,” claiming to be from Georgia or Alabama, and are supposedly single parents, missing their (usually one) kid terribly. (I expect they try later to get $ for plane tickets “home.”) They often have 2 first names, their English is awful and their profiles show thousands of game losses. They are scammers. Period.
If you complain to the developers, they say they care, but they do NOTHING to stop the flood of these criminals taking over the game. They just tell you how to turn off Chat.
They could easily investigate this, & block these players, but they don’t.
It’s a great game otherwise, it’s fun & challenging.
Sadly, however, the developers have really no integrity. Shame on them to not take this problem seriously.

I enjoy this game very much! It moves quickly if you only have a little time to play and there are a variety of games you can play. My one recommendation is that each player be give the same letters in the same order. What we do with the letters after they are presented makes the game more fun. If I see a better use of the letters presented or I recognize a word that my opponent does not see or vice versa, I think it would make the game even more fun to play. There’s been times in the game where I’ve been way ahead only to see my opponent win because they were given better letters and I was given on a high point value challenge, which can be frustrating at times.

This is a super fun game but there is no way to block the creepy people from messaging and toying with you. I had one user send me at least fifty invites and wouldn't leave me alone. I would definitely NOT let my child play this. It's just not safe for that reason. But a responsible adult over 18, sure. If you don't mind being harassed every so often. I sent this person's profile number to their support but apparently, you have to take screenshots of the conversations they send you for anything to be done about it. So take pictures before the game is over or you’ll have to accept another game with them to prove it.

One on hand I love this game. I have a brain injury and this is fantastic for rehabilitation purposes. I also love how interactive and social this game is. On the other hand I am a little frustrated because recently this has become a pay to win or participate game. Frequently when I play the letters don’t even create words. And honestly? I have no money I can be throwing at games to participate.
Edit: I remain unimpressed when I had to spend $20 to make a word in a game. Let me propose an idea: either find or reinstate ways where people can for free get gems. Frankly I find it ridiculous because this could be a fun game to play, especially for the increasing number of people who have brain injuries. This game used to be considerate of the fact that often the people who use it for this have little money. However that respect has vanished.

Normally I NEVER write reviews for things, even for coins or points on games but WordzeePuzzleWordGame gave me the chills. The game is fun and I love playing it but everyone on there who chats just is creepy. “Where are you from?” “Can we get to know each other better?” All from grown men with weirdly generic name like Richard Williams and such, they are just creepy and I came here to play word games not have grown men trying to find out personal information. And I even got a very strange message from someone asking if I was really me, when I asked what that meant they said they gave me a pet name and missed me..? I had just downloaded WordzeePuzzleWordGame if not five minutes prior to this encounter. I’ve never in my life left such a bad review or felt so sketched out after playing a game. It genuinely gave me awful vibes and if someone chats with you, it’s better to just ignore it and just focus on your game. I feel absolutely disgusting and just so creeped out, I will be sketched out all night.

I really enjoy the challenge of this game but feel like it’s rigged to make you spend money. “Aren’t they all” you say, but this game seems worse than any other I’ve played. I played against the computer the other day and finally worked my way up to the hardest level after spending all the free jewels I earned (cost 20/round) and had 1,000 point lead after my last play and the computer drops a 1,080 point word on me - coincidence? I also can’t figure out how to turn off the adds which are way too frequent. I’m willing to pay a couple of bucks to play ad free but I can’t find the option. It’s a great game in concept. Kinda like Yahtzee meets Scrabble but they have some work to do to improve the player's experience. For now I’m only playing the daily high score which at least is against other humans - I think.

Wordzee! Is a great game to play Each game is just five rounds. This game is very addictive you want to try and get a Wordzee so you can get the bonus of 100 points. A Wordzee is when you cover all the spaces in the game. A three letter word, four word, five letter word, six letter word, and 7 letter wordss. The game tries to match to match players at the same level. I know you will love this game if you will give it a chance especially if you love word games. This game will also improve your scrabble skills because you are trying to make seven letter words and words that score the highest points. I love this game because it is quick. I can play a few games through out my day.

The game is great! It’s so much fun and a good amount of challenging. The issues I keep running into are that it is near impossible to close out of ads. Every time I click the X or the skip it just brings up the download page and I have to swipe it away and try again. The other slightly bigger issue is there is one solitaire ad THAT DOESNT HAVE AN EXIT BUTTON. So the ad ends and it just sits there. You can click on it and open the download page, so I know it isn’t frozen. But there’s no way to click out of this ad! So I end up having to refresh my page every so often. I also haven’t had it downloaded wrong but they make it seem very easy to get different tiles but it seems pretty rigged…

I have been playing the game every day for over a year. Over the last few days I have experience nothing but issues. I can’t seem to complete the game without it locking up. I restored the game applied the updates. And now nothing is working. It tells me I have rewards for the day which I now I should and it will not work to let me past claiming them so I can give it up for the night. I see that you’ve asked people to contact the support team I will send an email there immediately after I finish this review. Please note I have not been given options also to earn all of the tiles in any one set.

Takes too long to get a new playing tile I get a lot of “ Wordzee! s “ and have been waiting up to 4-5 months of playing daily to get a new tile , many times longer . I really don’t want to pay for no more ads I have no problem by passing and closing the ad out , for not every game should have pop up ad come up maybe like every 3 games maybe some ppl are on a tight budget , especially in the times we live in Just some thoughts thank you it is a good game But it’s pushing the same ads for games all the time ugh
Having issues with rematches I was playing like 4 games with a family member and now down to one game and not allowed to play a rematch , the other games just disappeared

I was loving the game but noticed for example mimmimguest playing against anyone who is chosen to play against mimmim is offered any amount of choice of letters to make better words. Where as mimmim is offered words WXQJZ again and again, each having high numbers but not any choices of vowels to make a legible word. What’s the point of playing if one is not treated equally? Feel frustrated to be offered the same letters every time with which one cannot play equally. Have to make do with the words offered after wracking the brain to make somehow a word to last in the game. I am very disappointed and cannot find satisfaction at all in playing the game. You should think about fairness before offering people to play. To get equal treatment do I have to pay to play a fair game? In that case I am sorry. Lot of us have iPad or iPhone in different parts of the world, but we do not earn in dollars to pay for what you demand for using certain offers to play a better game. If everything costs money - not even a game is offered free for recreational cause than it’s no use buying these expensive instruments….. You keep instructing to fill every tiles. If there are no letters which can make a legible word, how can it be done? The game leaves me very frustrated.

I’m still waiting on people to make their word. It’s tiresome especially since you game engineers can fix that. DEFAULT RESIGN AFTER 72 HOURS OF NO PLAY WHEN IN A MATCH!!!

I just started playing this game a couple of weeks ago. It’s fun and challenging to get the best word for the most points. I very much like the free 1/2 exchange option. My only real issue is literally having to wait days sometimes a week for an opponent to play. It’s either wait or resign from the game. If you resign it counts as a loss against you…that STINKS! I think it’s the strategy of the person losing to leave you hanging hoping you’ll resign. Come on designers there should be an auto resign if a person hasn’t played within a specific time frame. I think 72 hours is an extremely reasonable amount of time to give a person time to play. At the end of the 3 days/72 hours they auto resign by default. What say you, guys/gals, is that doable? I’m waiting on 3 players and have been for sometime. I’d like the games to progress or boot the slackers and give them the ‘L’!!!

I found this game a few weeks ago and it’s pretty good. You just have to make 5 words (1 in each of 5 rounds) that are between 3 and7 letters out of 7 letters you’re given. Both you and your opponent start each round with the same 7 letters as each other. There are double and triple letter and word score tiles etc.. There is a little more to it but whoever gets the most points wins. I definitely like this game a lot for when I’m outside smoking or something else quick that I’d want it want something to do while I’m there doing it. Great bathroom or before bed game. I don’t really like the “rewards “ system they have in this game though. It doesn’t really make sense to me. I know you can use the diamonds in matches, but the coins, letter tiles and cards are confusing. Mostly because it was never explained in the beginning of wgame like it should’ve been. I have a couple more complaints but also more compliments. If you enjoy word games then you’ll probably enjoy this game, at least a little bit

Their customer service is great, in that when you email them, they get back to you. Unfortunately, the more frustrating aspect is there are common words that they do not accept and weird words that they do accept. You find this out by seeing what is acceptable when playing a game. No list of acceptable words, so you go for a certain word (possibly spending gems to get it) and it isn’t allowed. Lost many gems and games this way. After the last update, my page that opens is full of ‘suggested’ players and random games that look like they are in progress, but aren’t. If you refuse to play them, it’s counted against you on your stats. Not right. I spent quite a bit of money on gems to keep my stats good. Then some random suggested game tanks them? Also, was in game 10 of 20 in my achievements, and lost those because of these random games counting as a loss. That was the last straw. If you play, be forewarned.

This is a fun game and I enjoy playing it a lot. The reason for 4 stars is that you need tickets to play the special events, but they are very hard to earn. Most of the time I’m down to 1 or 2 tickets, or none at all, so I can’t play Totalizer (my favorite), High Score, etc. If there were other ways to get tickets this would be a 5 star game for me. EDIT—Another issue has become increasingly frustrating. The game is very glitchy. It freezes frequently, sometimes long enough that I have to close the game and reopen it again to continue play. This is especially annoying when playing something timed, like Totalizer, because the time keeps counting down while you are waiting to get started again. Please fix this problem!!

I'm a big fan of wordzee and have been playing it for a couple of years now. Love the game. I would have given 5 stars, but since I could not find a way to contact support (despite the information they post- email doesn’t work - chat doesn’t work) and the recent changes they made have caused a glitch. With the recent changes I've noticed an issue with earning tiles. When playing Journeys (specifically the holiday one) it will give you a new tile to start working towards, however when you go to your inventory, those tiles do not appear. I've been short changed 5 or 6 tiles now. It's very disheartening. Anything you can do to improve that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Update: Found a new glitch. I played one game with a person and it said they won two. This game is just ripping you off left and right. Depending on what else I find, this rating may lose a star!

Wordzee! was my favorite word game. I was a loyal fan who played daily and actually spent my hard-earned money to buy gems and card packs. It was fun collecting all the tiles. Everything was great until one day without any notice the developers made not one change, but too many for me to count! They said new tiles were coming and it’s been months and no new tiles…so you keep getting all these coins you can do absolutely nothing with. They made animal rankings which cover part of your avatar and made new level up rewards. They have domestic and global rankings monthly and have added tile matching to new journeys you can play..not even a WORD game! Geez! All the new changes are hard to keep up with and quite frankly have not improved, but seriously have undermined the integrity of the original design/format. Everything is all over the place and all the changes have squelched the enjoyment of playing for me at least. The developers also ignored changes I’d hoped they’d make, like allowing players to play for tiles they could select. It all goes back to the old saying, “Don’t fix what isn’t broken “! In the future, it might be a good idea to actually find out what changes your paying customers might want before you implement changes they don’t want. Just a thought.
