The Roman and British factions are super easy but the Japan and Russian factions are way too hard, level 411 in the Russian faction, the enemy does way to much damage and you use way too much stamina to try and kill him, for Japan the forest 300 levels are easy but then it gets way too hard, the enemies again do to much damage, don’t waste spend money to get rid of the ads, it’s waste of money and the developer didn’t even nerf any of the enemies yet, this game is unfair and a cheap cash grab. Play Melon Playground instead, it’s better and the developer actually listens to the community.

PVP : So most of the times when grappling with my opponent I would suddenly and instantly die without any reason or change regardless of how much health or damage I have or have dealt, yet my opponents can always just slam me into the corner for minutes at a time and I have never seen anyone else die that way. Most of my attacks would get stuck on either a weapon, armor, or geometry leaving no option other than to try and flail around like a madman or hope your opponent will not advance on a backup. 2 handed weapons are virtually unwieldy and not useable until you get the very last ones which are naturally more powerful, and even then they are finicky at best, the previous two issues being even more prevalent. Matchmaking in EU while American is a wild shot because about half of my matches would suddenly without a prior ping notification in the bottom left, disconnect for latency. While this is the best mobile game I’ve ever played, it still definitely needs work.
PVM : Remove the grappling issue, add a lot of repetition, and annoying progression systems that take hours to unlock anything meaningful, and you have one mind numbingly boring “campaign” that technically has 3000 levels.

Pros? Cheap micro transaction for no ads helped me not waste a lot of time to figure out how crap the game is
Cons? Overrun with cheaters and buggy

I would rate 5 stars but it gets a SOLID 1 STAR. And that’s because of the ads. You literally don’t even wanna play because after 3 or 4 games your getting a ad, which is like 2 or 3 minutes of play time. I could see maybe after 10 games there’s a ad that pops up. 3 or 4. Becomes WAY too repetitive. You do half less ads and you’ll have 4x more people playing which is more money in general for the game creator. Just saying 🤷🏻‍♂️ NO ONE WILL PLAY A GAME WITH A TON OF ADS.

Reading other reviews seems like this is a recent error, but the hit registry and the “your weapon sticks to your opponent” mechanic make anything other than a shield and knife useless. I spent tons of gold to get hard hitting, long weapons that get “stuck” on my opponent. I understand the realism it’s supposed to bring, but it makes longer two-handed weapons totally and utterly useless. I can’t quickly grind through levels because I spend several minutes per round cornering the opponent and stabbing them a million times. This has become the only way to get 3 stars on a level and it’s annoying as all get out.

On top of this (and this goes for ALL mobile games), if I opt out of doubling my reward money and skipping the ad, you CANNOT hit me with an ad anyways. That is totally disrespectful to your player base. This game is GRINDY to begin with and if I have to watch an unskippable ad every other match, it makes this game almost intolerable. I watched plenty in the beginning to save my money, but when I really just wanted to push to the higher levels, I kept being interrupted. It’s horribly frustrating. As a word to all developers, if you offer ads as a reward system, fine. But LET ME CHOOSE when to watch them.

I hate this freaking game. I want to love it so much but I freaking hate it and I want to go ham on the developers the way you would in the game. They do not explain at all how the mechanics work not even a little, not it not a clue not on a webpage not in a web series … nowhere. So your left to figure it out. Which honestly I wouldn’t even care if it had not been for multiplayer now we have a problem because nine times out of 10 I wind up out of breath. The other guy kills me in one below. Nothing I can do no way to know how to have beaten him. Another match I’ll have the power to kill the other guy, but I can never get ahead because all he does is Juan she’ll up and then circle one finger around over and. Or back-and-forth and back-and-forth and back-and-forth until he has taken my weapon away the random chance or not to me to the ground where I can barely reach him and bleed out ice cream and purse and let my crap when I play this game. So if you’re a person who likes the fair competition, don’t play this because they don’t tell you how to make it fair. They don’t explain what it is that the other guy has apparently figured out that you cant. Other than that it’s cute I like the violence but screw this game

I got this game a long time ago, and I bought the disable ads because the ads were really annoying. But i played it again recently, and the game acts like I never even purchased disable ads. Even worse, it says I have to uninstall to restore purchases, but uninstalling will wipe my data. Please fix this and restore my purchase so I do not have to pay for it again

Love the game. I think it’s very fun and keeps me engaged and wanting to continue to level up my character. However, I’m pretty disappointed in the ads. The frequency of them is pretty horrible and I even went as far as purchasing the “no ads” but still continue to get ads. Really enjoy playing this game, just get really discouraged when an ad pops up after every two rounds it seems like. I’d recommend steering clear of the “no ads” purchase as it doesn’t actually remove the ads…

Don’t get me wrong the campaign stuff is good if you like to grind in a game but when it’s comes to multiplayer it just isn’t fun anymore. 2h weapons are useless because most people will use a sheild and push you into a corner before slowly going at your health or just stab your legs so you bleed out then walk away and make you wait. Not only that but United States servers don’t ever have anyone online so you’ll have to choose another laggier server which puts you at a disadvantage. There’s also surprisingly where your head can be injured like your arms and legs but will instead result in an insta kill, this is present at all in single player and is annoying as well when you randomly die. Overall single player can be fun if you like grinding but multiplayer is toxic and will just leave you frustrated.

I played this game for a couple of months now, defeated all 3 empire lords, wiped out tons of players, it feels good. But personally after playing for a while, it feels meaningless. Sure you get all the weapons, skills, armor, etc. I don’t feel sense of purpose or motivation to continue playing this game because there is no reason to keep going. Sure I get it. We fight, get bloody, win or lose, but for what reason? What’s the purpose of all of this combat? It’s empty and stops being fun when you realize there is nothing to achieve. No player profiles, no stats you can view of others, no achievements, no ability to interact with other players, no story, and the massive lack of updates as well. There’s nothing else you can do in this game. You can defeat hundreds of players but there is nothing to show or speak for it. And ranked mode doesn’t seem like it’s going to be any different either.

This game feels like an incomplete project and I believe this is why bloody B will not become engaging in the long run.

I’ve had the game before. Loved it honestly but I eventually deleted like I do most games. It’s had probably been a year since and I’ve recently wanted to play it again so when I downloaded it logged into Game Center and then stops there. It just says “successfully logged into Game Center” and won’t load any further into the game. I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it and that didn’t work. I’ve done what I could to try and get it to work and just never could

The touch interface is awful the sticks barely follow what your inputting your weapon gets stuck in there’s if you slightly swing it and you can’t get it out without running away some hits that are direct don’t register or just miss the arm while stabbing and stab their chest the stamina makes up its own mind and is random there’s no point for shields in the game cause weapons block better than shields and you can hit with them too if you are trying to combo and let go and press again you walk forward and that’s the end of that

The game is great. I’ve played it pretty extensively and have made a few different characters, but doing anything other than dual wielding after about 200 levels is pointless. There is an entire shield category, my question is why if someone is going to knock it out of your hand in the first five seconds? Also why don’t they block anything at all? Furthermore, two handed weapons are already tricky to learn, but going up again a bot with two weapons that just flails endlessly is just game over.

So the game itself is Decent but it’s like one of those offline games that you do when you don’t have internet except for the fact that they force you to use internet so they can spam you with ads for their cash grab.

It’s an alright game in the early to mid stages. The upgrading system is great and there’s loads of different gear to choose from. The battles are varied enough to stay interesting and the gore was done very well. I enjoy the combat for the most part. The endgame however tends to feel like a slog with every enemy being armed to the teeth. It forces you to use blunt weapons exclusively to do reasonable damage and takes away a lot of the freedom you get early on. Sure it make sense but how does it add to the game? The stamina system is weighed heavily in the bots favor. It regens far faster, they use far less, and don’t take any stamina damage when hit. Which in in stark contrast to the player where stamina management becomes the entire game. The problem is the bots use this advantage to bully you around. They have no reason to back off and completely ruins the combat.

The game gets very repetitive and you have to save for long amounts of time to get items and the bots are sometimes way too easy or way too hard never in between and when playing with multiplayer it takes way too long either the person your against has way took many items and better armor or they have no armor and a small dagger. There is no ranking system at all if you fix it I might redownload it.

I love the game, easy to learn but hard to fully master. I’ve beaten well over 500 levels in the Japan region alone, and payed for the Ad Free setting already. However, when I had redownloaded the game due to needing to delete it for more space, it had wiped all of my progress, restored my purchase with no refund, and only saved my characters that I created. Please, I hate to rate this game lower than 5 stars, but I’ve lost an absolutely ridiculous amount of time and progression, along with some actual money, due to your game no saving all of my information in my Game Center, just my characters. Will you please help me restore my data and purchases? I hate for my view of the game to be tainted in such a manner.

Considering you complete each nations campaigns without a single restart, and you don’t watch any of the optional adds to double you money, you will watch around 1,334 non-skipable adds. Now let’s say that each add is 10 seconds (they are usually longer). That means that you have spent 13,340 seconds of pure advertising. That is 222 minutes, which is 4 hours and 10 minutes… not even including multiplayer mode, and without ANY restarts nor optional adds. I would be okay if these adds were not mandatory, but more than 4 hours of unskippable adds is pure insanity. This tells us that you don’t respect our time, and this game is wonderful, too. I just hate having to sit and watch the same add for some stupid mobile game that I will never play.

Game is easy to understand and it's good if you just want to kill some time. However, the gameplay loop is exhausted in like an hour at most. Play through the same monotonous levels doing the same thing to unlock some reskin of your previous weapon, shield, armor, etc, which is slightly better. Also, you obviously have the ads, which occur every 3 levels or deaths, which can be almost every 30 seconds once you get later into the game and start snowballing through levels. You're also unable to play the game without any sort of internet connection despite the game working fine without an internet connection, except for the pvp. I'm pretty sure this was done in a recent update to prevent people from just turning their internet off to skip the ads without paying for no ads in a game you'll get bored of in less than an hour. Also, the game uses quite a bit of resources to run despite the game being incredibly simple gameplay wise and graphically. Although, this is probably due to mobile devices typically not being very efficient at running games. If you're thinking about pvp then prepare to be absolutely annihilated by cheaters. Even if you do get into an actual match, then the combat is incredibly janky and drawn-out for pvp. All in all, I'd say it's good for a mobile game.

I love everything about this game. The customization, the weapons, and how you get to choose what empire you want to go for. The game can be a little challenging at some points and the controls can take some time to get used to, but once you have them down, this game is honestly incredible. The levels take some time to complete, but each one is always satisfying. These are the kinds of games I look for when on BloodyBastards Store.

Had this game and loved it. Uninstalled it and tried downloading again but now when I open it, it says loading for maybe 30 seconds before it just crashes. I’m using an iPad mini 2. Please fix it.

So I was playing this game and I think it’s really great, the problem is that eventually it gets repetitive, and it takes too long to progress which can be both a good and a bad thing. I also noticed that sharp weapons eventually become inferior due to strong armor and found myself abusing heavy hitting clubs when I didn’t really want to, that’s all from me, I hope you read this.

Mechanics are a little hard to control but I’m getting the hang of it. Maybe add a control to walk forward instead of having to stop fighting and tap the bottom of the screen. The character customization is basic and inclusive.

This is a amazing game, and I’ve maxed out everything in the campaign, but two major issues I do not like, is the fact that you can’t play offline. I was on a road trip with my family, and wanted to play this game with my brother, but we couldn’t, because it said “Connect to the internet to keep playing.” We were in the middle of nowhere and we were deeply saddened by this, and I know it’s to keep people from getting rid of the ads, but maybe you could add your own in-game ads kinda like BitLife does. Another issue I have, is the reward system. I will complete a match, and then say no to the ad option, and still get a ad. I know a lot of mobile games use the ad reward system, but at least make it where they could choose when they wanted to. Great game overall, great fighting style, play it almost every day, and hope this game will skyrocket in popularity and value.

Great game. Fun, silly rag doll type mechanics, cool gear to unlock. My ONLY complaint about this game are the constant ads. I paid to get rid of them and they’re still showing after every other level. They show up even when all I want to do is go to the shop and switch out my gear. What’s the point of paying to be AD-FREE if all they do is take your money and keep throwing ads at you? That isn’t cool at all. Love the game, please get rid of the ads like I paid for.

It took close to a year to get my progress returned and since it is back I started playing again. It’s fun, you swing your arms with analogs to attack and place then accordingly to block. If your technique is good you can survive a long time without needing to upgrade but once you get them upgrades you feel like a beast!

I was many levels deep and had great gear. Played online and was doing quite well until I ran into a dude who had insane gear but sucked at the game, almost whooped him. I’m not sure if he was a cheater or what but all my gear and progression was basically reset after I turned off the game from that online session. so I’m not playing this game anymore… what a waste of time.

This game is super addicting. My only complaint is that I immediately paid for ad removal to support the creator but I still have ads like every 5 games. I would have paid even if the cost was a donation but these ads are really hurting my experience. I already deleted and reinstalled the game to try to fix it but they’re still there. Hope it’s fixed soon!

Weapons that I spend thousands on and play hundreds of levels to unlock like the curvy great sword falls behind in comparison to blunt weapons found early/middle game. The sharp weapons fail to cut through basic armor and results in a long fight of you bouncing your weapon off the opponents armor, while any blunt tool completely negates the effects of the armors and deals high damage anyways. Like, why is a mace dealing 20% damage per hit to my level 500 emperor armor, while my sword fail to cut through a cheap beginner armor.

I want to say this game is great. I love playing this and I do have lots of fun. But there is one flaw and that’s just the limited picks of armors you can choose. I don’t see the klappvisor the Mormon helm, the burgonet, and overall just armors that should be in the game. Another stupid thing is the stupid matchmaking you get. Somehow this “npc” shoves you in a corner with absolutely heavy armor and a shield and one handed weapon. They then just hit you constantly until your limbs are gone. Please remove this and matchmake us with real people.

This gam e is great, undoubtedly the best sword fighting game on mobile, stabbing mechanics could be better but that’s not the main issue, it’s duel wielding, it feels impossible to duel wield in the game yet when the ai does it they take a quarter of your health in one hit, or they just get right in you face and don’t do anything ( which is annoying as f) this wouldn’t be a problem if there were only a few duel wielders in the game, but it feels like there are at least 4 every 10 level. Everything else is great and I definitely would get this game, but still expressing my dislike of duel wielding.

I love this game. I’ve been obsessed since I downloaded it and I never thought a mobile game could do that. Smashing down on an opponents head with a war hammer is so satisfying and the graphics are great. It inspires me to get back into pixel art. My only problem is that the game gets too easy to the point of repetitiveness. This can easily be fixed I think. If you can put some more work into the AI and make it a little more advanced you’re nearly there. Adding parrying would be an interesting mechanic? I LOVE that there is no player leveling or XP. Just make things a little more interesting, like environmental hazards or tougher boss fights with unique bosses. You think its one guy then boom a man on a horse shows up. EITHER WAY I can’t wait to see how this game progresses in development. GREAT JOB!

I love this game and its my go- to right now. The fighting and customization are top tier for mobile. With that being said, there are a few things I would like to see in the future. First the high level equipment needs to be nerfed a little to balance pvp. There is nothing worse than getting into a match and seeing the tiny stamina bar and feeling hopeless because in this game; armor = a win in pvp at least. I would like to see rouge builds have a chance against a knight. Another thing is the ads. There are quite a bit of them with no option to bypass. I would gladly pay for no ads because i play it that much. Other than that keep making updates because i will keep playing it as long as it keeps developing because this is truly a good game worth the download.

This game deserves as much praise as it could possibly receive, the gore is great, and I hope will be amplified to an even bigger extent soon, the graphics are unique, the controls involving your arms, and your arms only, (both definitions of arms) is surprisingly enjoyable and fun. Nearly every single thing about this game is awe inspiring. But an issue to be addressed, and I hope will be fixed soon, is the fact that oftentimes, the ads you receive will mute your game post-watching it, and the only way to get rid of this, is to close the game and return to it. I acknowledge that this may not be the fault of the devs, but I hope this will be fixed as soon as possible. My day will be made if this is fixed. But problems aside, this game is great, and there should be more games like this on the free mobile game market. This is a great game to play in your free time when you are bored.

I have played this game for a month now, and I really enjoyed it, but I really do not understand why the single player section of the game requires WiFi. I do get you need to have WiFi for the ads to circle through, but you don’t need to make the game unplayable just because my internet is not the best. Internet should only be required from the multiplayer mode. The game doesn’t lag when I have bad internet, it just tells me I can’t play because “you need to be connected to the internet”. I am losing the will to play the game because it gets old when you are fighting a really hard enemy, and it shoves “you are not connected to the internet” in my face so I have to start the whole fight over. Please consider removing the painful and evil requirement to have internet on offline mode. I am sorry if I sound like I am being rude, thank you for your time dear developers (if you read this entire review).

One of the best mobile fighting games I’ve played in a long time. The mechanics are really fun and addicting, and the strategic timing necessary is really engaging. I have no issues at all with the gameplay. The graphics are awesome, and even though they’re just pixel art, they get that medieval aesthetic across real nicely. The sound design is pretty great too!

The only issue I’ve had is, when playing the game on a brand new iPhone 13, after a certain amount of time, the levels start to lag severely. The only way to fix it is to completely close out the game and restart it. Then, after about 7-8 minutes, it starts lagging again.

But other than that performance issue, everything about it is great. A nicely crafted game with enough content to keep anyone entertained for a long while. Nice job devs!

I absolutely love this game so much. I have laughed so hard at the animations and the gameplay everything about this game is amazing but there is a little problem. Most ads that play after a few matches cause my game to have no sound which isn’t a huge issue but it does bother me. I have to close out of BloodyBastards and reopen it just to get an ad after another few matches and have to repeat the process. I know sound isn’t a huge deal but I like knowing if I’m hitting their armor or not and to just hear is nice. It always happens with the ads that tell me to skip them after a few seconds but with ads with just an x that pops up in the corner does not cause sound to go away. Anyways if you could try and fix this issue I would greatly appreciate it I love your game very much.

I really like this game. I play it all the time it’s pretty fun to unlock and buy new armors and swords and all of that. It has pretty good fighting mechanics and is pretty entertaining. One complaint I have though, is that there are special armors and weapons to unlock, but the only way to get them is to rank up in ranked under multiplayer. It’s not a bad idea but i think there needs to be another way to earn the special items. The players in multiplayer are usually fine and pretty fair to fight against, but occasionally you get a maxed out player who just destroys you and sometimes you want to forfeit, but each time you forfeit it takes a little bit of points from your ranked bar. I just think maybe some other way could be better like maybe a separate section for earning special items or something like that. Over all this is a pretty great game.

The mechanics feel great. The physics are whacky yet satisfying. HOWEVER there are more ads than I feel comfortable with in a game. I would MUCH rather pay a couple bucks to have this removed. Though the idea of doing that hinders one thing. If I were to pay for ad removal (which there is no present option) there’s the issue of ads still being present in the form of “watch an ad to double for reward”. I don’t think this wrecks the game. I still think it’s more than worth a download. More so I would pay money to play this game. I think that it’s sad that an otherwise awesome game becomes indistinguishable with these promising games unbearably muddied with ads. Other people might not feel the same, but personally if this game had a “remove ads” buttons that was like $2.99 I’d happily pay it, as well as an additional fee to permanently double rewards. I really hope this gets implemented.

This game is super fun but I feel once you get down a method for each level, it becomes repetitive. I think the game would really shine and be unique if there was a weapon breaking mechanic. For example, when the flail comes into contact with a Helmet , it dents the helmet. But what if a character used an axe and hit the flails chain, causing it to break. The broken chain could still do some damage, but now it really forces the player to be smart in their combat and how they go about fighting an enemy. The same should be applied for shields, if an axe, sword, mace, etc. hits the shield too many times, it splinters and shatters and the main shields damage would go up the more it broke because it would be sharper and have the ability to pierce. But it’s just an idea and my creative input, but would be really interesting to see implemented.

I’ve been playing this game for abt a year, really fun but I just feel like the developers need to put more effort into the game and once you max everything out its gets kind of boring. I feel like they should add more maps like maybe Viking map pr stuff like that bc it really is a fun game. One issue I have with it is when you play online, you could be dominating the whole match and you are full health and next thing you know he isint even hitting u and u die. Other than that it’s a great game and has a lot pg potential

Great game. Solid concept. Its all right there. We just need some more modes. Like a ragtag story mode, or a battle mode where we can freely pit whichever character we want against each other. An Ai controlled spectator mode as well.

We need more regions definitely, and more items for each region each update. Honestly I was a bit offended seeing the iconic half face oni mask not make it to the japan update. Also, if possible, bring back the real gore. I played it back when we had heads and limbs rolling off. New regions are demanded. Like India, Middle East, China, The Vikings and many, many more. Also, ranged weapons couldn’t hurt to be added. More and more hairstyles and customisation options should roll around more often.

I absolutely love this game and have a smile on my face everytime I play it. I find the grind fun and collecting gear is always fulfilling. My only problem is that after deleting it and reinstalling the game my screen will be stuck on “loading cloud saves profile” but will never change no longer how long I wait. I’ve tried to find an answer but can’t find one. But that change’s nothing about how much I’ve lived and enjoyed playing this game.

Short review because I hate writing

I love the game, probably one of the best games on my phone, but online has a lot of bugs for me. The ping is always pretty high, almost to 200. And sometimes the opponent is lying on the floor and it says they left. Other times they just freeze and the fight ends. I don’t know if it’s like this for them too or just me, but I’d really like you peoples to work on fixing it please 👍

First of all great game with great graphics and gameplay, very Grindy, thousands of levels, and blood and gore. Now the ideas. 1. You should add different eras/time periods like a modern age or Stone Age. 2. Plz add more zombie customization because I would love to be able to change how their head shape and is and add an option to have a nose or not for the zombie. 3. Also you should add a blood face marking for the normal mode. 4. Also for the game you should add a zombie survival mode.
Lastly if you have read a review that is pretty much the same as this one well that’s because you have I just wanted to make sure that people got to see it. Even if none of these things get add I won’t be upset, due to the fact that this game is great. Keep on with the hard work TIBITH👍

This game idea is great and the game that it turned out into is probably even better. There is a lot of blood, but you can turn it off.(I DON’T) the physics is cool and the multiplayer mechanic is awesome! One idea is that it could be cool if when you played multiplayer people are separated by level because sometimes I just get murdered by level 120’s. Some have helmets and I’m only wear level 1 outfits.(for now) one other idea is if you could play 1v1 with someone in the room like one side is yours and the other side is theirs and then they both fight. This is good game worth buying.

Guts, and I don’t mean body guts, I mean berserk guts a crossover with berserk would go hard in this game, just add berserker armor golden age armor a new eye setting which just has the right one closed and ofc the dragon slayer and you’d have the perfect berserk crossover. Maybe in like a limited even with a specific amount of levels and at the end of each hundred you get a piece of equipment that guts would normally use or sum, idrk lol. Obviously Ik this is likely impossible but if it were to happen that would be legendary fr but anyways overall great game and I love it. Thank you 🙏 byeeee.

I don’t write many reviews so I’ll be quick. 15 minutes in to the first time playing I bought the game to get rid of the annoying 60 second adds. It’s repetitive but in a very fun way. No stupid “pay to play” features either. Unlock as you play, and quickly too.

Personally i absolutely love this game it deserves mores attention but it needs more factions/content and in multiplayer the spam is kind of annoying i want more skill involved, i was using a long range two hands and had someone pin me against a wall for 5 minutes they never moved their weapon at all it just slowly and gradually lowered my health until i died. A lot of two handers and even some one handers collide on the ground i can’t do a full 360 degree on the attacks thats very annoying. A lot of adjustments need to be done IMO but it deserves 5 stars with how much love and effort this dude put in one of the best iphone games I’ve played

Quite honestly this is the only game I play on my phone I started playing back in 2021 on and off ,but got into it as the school year started because school is boring I played quite a bit with the ads around like 700 hundred levels but it got annoying so I got no ads and it is quite honestly the most enjoyable game without them . But any way I play this game non stop it is quite honestly is my favorite game recently and I and I’m at silver 3 but W game bless the developer for blessing us with this one in a century game👍

so one thing I was thinking about was finishers. not animations. finishers that YOU controll such as stabbing someone and beating them to death with a shield and or stabbing someone bringing them over your head and stabbing them repeatedly. please reach out and please respond. something else that would be controversial is gore. gore like lungs brains and a heart would be nice and also limb cutting would be perfect for the style of the game. and again. please reach out and please respond.

Great game. I love the physics, the art style, the play style (although the grinding is a bit annoying) but I wish there was more customization, like when they added the fourth chest armor thing, they only had stuff for Japan. Which trust me I love! But I wish there were options for Russia, England, and the HRE. Like maybe a large coat or cape? Maybe a kilt type thing for England. A bear/wolf skin coat or cape for Rus Tsardom, and some sort of fine cloak or coat for The Holy Roman Empire. Also I wish there was more places to go to, like the crusader states or North Africa or China. Although I know they’re probably planning on doing that anyways but still.

Thanks for bringing the gore back to iPhone! The game has made lots of improvements from the last time I’ve played and there is even a new map now and the weapons are great too. I was hoping for a reverse grip option or button to hold a dagger or smaller weapons. It would go well with dagger fighting or something like a karambit. The current mechanic is awesome as is but yeah I feel some people would enjoy the reverse grip option.

I’ve been trying a lot of different war games and usually delete them after playing for a couple minutes because of bad gameplay and too many ads. I’ve been playing this game all day and it is going to be a keeper. Awesome customization and minimal ads with a super cheap no ad option. Really fun and unique gameplay. I look forward to the many battles that await.

This game has like no ads also graphics are awesome it’s also super addicting so when I downloaded it I couldn’t stop playing also the game is pretty easy but I think the game should have armor breaking and that’s mostly it but one huge think about the game is that it’s not pay to win and don’t have to spend money at all with all this being said there is also a vs mode where you can go against others and the game is very cool

Simply an amazing game. Combat is well done, physics well calculated, doesn’t feel buggy to me, art and design are amazing, progression is simply fantastic as there is SO MUCH OF IT, and you feel like you’re constantly progressing, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I will say my first little while i felt as though the physics was broken but as i got better i noticed it was just a git gud moment. The one and only complaint, not near enough to give it anything less than 5 stars mind you, is that the balancing could use some work. Now in single player it seems most of the weapons are viable and unique enough that if you figure out their playstyle you can try many play styles. However flails and maces are simply the best. By a LOT. Now i know, historical accuracy wise, these will be better against heavy plate than say something like a knife but for the sake of fun i think it would be nice to tone done the strength these weapons have against armor a little bit. Oh almost forgot, the fact this game has zero micro transactions, other than zero ads but that’s a given as these games must make money somehow, just goes to show the real confidence these people had that they made a great game. Keep it up. Great mobile game, maybe a massive update a pc port would be nice, and keep up the good work. 10/10

So when I downloaded it, it said that I’m logged in and it’s just stuck on that screen so I wasn’t able to play the game but I seen my friends play it so they told me to download it and it was just stuck on that screen so creators plz try to fix your game I will love to play the game

The game is fun and easy to understand but the ai is a little wack you can barley use some weapons because they are always up in your face and going phasing into the ground not to mention it’s hard for new players to even get ranked weapons and amour when your matching them with people way out of there league

This game is honestly one of the, if not the best mobile game i’ve played in a very long time. I really appreciate the development of this game and the fact it’s still being updated. I downloaded it yesterday and haven’t stopped playing it since!
I noticed in a reddit thread that Ad removal could potentially be an option? It’d be a great addition to the game to allow players to grind the game so they can finally enjoy multiplayer (until ranked arrives).
Also, I think it’d be an amazing idea (even though it’s cliche) to add small attribute boosts specifically to your weapons through a “battle experience” based scale (not upgrading with gold as that’d be much too easy). There could be a limit per weapon and damage that it already holds. For instance, two handed weapons could have an increased amount of defense and “weight” at the cost of a little damage, to allow easier defense from maces flails or swords. This way it allows players to make the decision whether or not they want raw damage or a defensive/offensive play style with any weapon. Again, thank you for all the hard work you’ve put in for this game!

To start off I’m a big geek for combat games where you’re in control of the limbs and this game pulls it off so well. The controls don’t lag on you or the opponent so it doesn’t make it any easier on you or your opponent. I’ve only played single player so far but its still pretty solid. Some of the mechanics are a little confusing as to how to deal the most damage. Poking and stabbing would seem to be the most effective but it doesn’t always do the most damage where it would seem to do catastrophic damage but I’ve put this to the armor the opponent has is softening the blow. Your sword and shield sometimes clip through the opponent’s weapons and get caught but tbh it kinda just feels like one of those bugs that perfectly made for a feature as it looks like you’re just holding out. The background for the game is very well detailed.

Most of the bad reviews for this game are just complaints that it won’t load at all. Whether its a graphical error for them or an account processing that’s bug is too sad but I didn’t experience any of this so they may be old reviews

Just some of my suggestions: Npcs should be a tad more aggressive on advancing on you, it’s exceptionally easy to put the opponent against the wall.

Add fire mechanics on the torches. Ex. you’re pushed up against the wall or you’re pushing up against the wall and hold your weapon up to the fire for some time to deal added damage, it would leave you open for some time.

This game is really fun in my opinion, it’s pretty repetitive and i usually don’t go for games like that, but i’m at level 91 right now having 3 stars on all 90 levels. By no means did i 3 star these every time, it was a lot of fun going back to old levels with a completely new set up and destroying someone who was previously difficult, although many of the levels i simply repeated until i got 3 stars. i believe you can 3 star any level with any weapon if you hone your skills enough, this game is that flexible in how you can play. one of my favorite things is that you only need to 1 star a level to progress, 2-3 starring simply rewards more money, but because of this i’ve been able to try out many different builds. i haven’t even touched multiplayer or survival yet, im that into the campaign. i’m sure i missed something because i’ve barely even touched the surface of how long the campaign is, but seriously try this game out!

Please add a way to get rid of the ads with an in game purchase. Also, maybe just slightly increase the weight of the tips of two handed weapons so that thrust are just a little easier to pull off. Not by much but a slight adjustment would help I think. Same for one handed but that is still fun as is and satisfying. Maybe make it possible to get your blade stuck in your opponent on a strike that penetrates the armor fully(specifically the torso, so more can happen there. And if possible make thrust attacks target the torso above limbs so it’s a little more realistic and thrusts are a little better. Just a thought.) Being able to cut the torso if you can’t already would also be great. I haven’t been able to pull it off as only limbs get cut first. Also PLEASE add in one handed spears. With the adjustment I mentioned above it could be really cool.

Was a competitive player who used two handed weapons. Although the shield and one handed weapon felt unbalanced and it is easier to win that way, I still preferred the challenge of the two handed weapon. Now the one handed weapon with shield combo has an even bigger advantage because instead of nerfing that, you have made it impossible to have fun using the already bad two handed weapons. Now, when playing online, all people do is try and put a shield over you and cut your limbs and it has worked every single time. Two handed weapons barely do any damage when up close and now that you swing once and lose all of it they are now useless, and players who take the easy way out can now win even more. Out of all things to fix, why try to fix the two handed weapon?

This game is genuinely just very fun to play, especially after you get past the first 20 or so levels and can start branching out and optimizing your equipment. This is one of very few games where I’ve ever actively looked for an in app purchase to remove ads, because it’s just that much fun to play (even then, the ads are infrequent and only like 5 seconds long so i barely notice them).

This game is honestly just really really good. It reminds me of the way games used to be in like 2010, before everything was pay to win and when there weren’t ads between every single round of a game. The controls are slightly janky (i still don’t believe 2 handed weapons can actually be used properly in this game) but when you find the right weapon and the right rhythm the game gets exponentially more fun.

When I first downloaded this game, I thought “ok this is pretty cool, a few weapons and a few levels to play, but I wish there was more”. Then as I played the levels, I realized that the levels didn’t stop and there were more weapons, armor, and overall customizations to unlock than I could have imagined. It was just about endless.. then I realized as I playing the hundreds of levels throughout the British empire, I realized… there was two more empires to go through with even more armor and weapons, and hundreds of other levels…. After playing through a few levels of those, I realized that there was multiplayer and I’m the absolute greatest fighter on this mobile game… then I realized I needed to write an expansive review for this expansive game. The End. W Game, W developers, W everything.

Super fun game lots of fun. There is definitely room for improvement. I would love to see more blood, more easier dismemberment, and more gruesome bloody combat. I’d love to see them make a gladiator game. They have the basics down very well just a few tweaks to the game it could be the next big thing. I’m actually very excited to see what they can produce in future updates and games. I highly recommend you play the game and you will see with small tweaks to it it could be very addicting. I would also like to see crowd reactions, like you have a nice cut or slash and the crowd reacts to it. Also when you stab your opponent they react more to it like scream you see blood pour out of where you stabbed. I’d give the current game a 9/10. I love the design of the game.

So for starters thx for developing such an amazing game and I like how the character customization is so diverse and a lot of options but I still find it hard to customize a good female character most of the faces are manly so they don’t fit the character and theirs only a few good female hairstyles also maybe being able to add earrings to your character would also make it a lot of fun when customizing your character but that’s pretty much all the feedback I wanted to give.

I started playing just before the Japan update. Very simple and compelling gameplay for those that like physics, managing upgrades, and bloody fighting.

Seriously, the attention to detail with characters and how their armor and flesh receives damage is grade A. Upgrading for no ads was the easiest decision ever. I couldn’t believe how much was added with the Japan update.

Very good for playing quick games while killing time or extended play while on a flight.

The damage on pretty much every weapon is pitiful now. I tried a single player fight in the Japan region again the longer two handed bonking stick and how did I get three stars? Not with the weapons I’d spent thousands of gold on, and won from the previous regions finals battles, but with a shield and the starting dagger pushing the guy against the wall and then stabbing him 100 times. The damage between that and my massive swords was barely any different.

Double handed swords. They just simply don’t do enough and are hard to use. Very hard to stab, and hardly cut. Every other two handed weapon is fine, but the swords don’t really work too well unless you fight the level one enemy. I absolutely love this game and have about 1400 out of 4000 levels left, but please please PLEASE fix swords. I want to be a samurai! Also, hi tibith, I used to be in the discord

This game has saved me from boredom plenty of times, but I haven’t been able to play it for a while. I’ve sat at the “logging in” screen for up to 10 minutes before giving up. Don’t know what the problem is. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

I have played this game before but not on my phone. I have it now but it has trouble “logging” me in. One minute it was ask me the questions for my Apple ID. Then it will say “Logged in!” But will sit on the screen and not do anything. Is it just me?

I love the update of the new region but the damage now it feels like you guys nerfed the damage a bit like it take a little bit more longer to kill someone but besides that the games fine but the ads are so annoying i gotta watch one after every fight in rank

Game is great but it gets repetitive. But if you make the repetitive fun that might solve it all. I suggest adding a mechanism for stabbing, throwing. And make it so that we could chop their limbs off too😳. Thank you for making this game since i now have a way to enjoy my freetime satisfyingly

I have a glitch whenever you start the game and it says logging in. It just says logging in forever and it will never stop. I’ve tried updating the game deleting and stalling it. And nothing works

The game has very few (if not none), controls are simple and yet they get everything you need to be done (although I struggle with kicking), and the AI is actually pretty good, to this day I struggle with some of them.

Please add sandbox that would make the game so much fun the game overall is very good but if their was a sandbox would make it so much better I would love to have a fight with only fists and mess around with different enemy’s sandbox would be amazing in this game

I been playing this game for almost a year now, I LOVE the combat system and mechanics and the gameplay. I also love the addition of Japan! Just wondering will there be another places such as Scandinavia or Africa?

This game is pretty good! The way you attack is creative and epic, and all the weapons and armor that there is to unlock makes the game even better!

This game is soooooooo fun I have some ideas for future updates. 1 please ad bows that would be great. 2 ad a modern mode where you use guns or fight cops.

It’s a great game!! It’s just a little rough around the edges.. My only complaints currently are that some of your hits won’t register or will just completely phase through the enemies head. Even when you do have a hit registered, it sometimes won’t do any damage at all.. The ai also has much more consistent damage than you. I had the king armor on (level 500 armor of first area) and I went to Japan to get to level 500 there. I had half hp and my enemy was at red. We had the same weapon but when he hit it took the rest of my hp and killed me. He only hit me like 4 times the entire fight but I hit them over 9 times.. The damage is just a little random. Everything else about the game is pretty good.

This feels like a game that should have started on Console or PC and become so popular it got its own mobile spin-off. Like Among Us, etc. This game has way too much detail, customization and content for a mobile game. I think I probably went 10 levels before I paid the $3 for no ads, and it was worth it. Amazing game that’s had me and a buddy addicted for days. As of this writing there’s three countries to fight in, all with 1000 levels. That’s 3k levels to fight through! The amount of detail too! The facial expressions during battle, the fact that you and the AI can get fatigued when you get low on health, the damage multipliers depending on which part of your weapon hits which body part. Endless customization from three distinct areas of the world. Weapons that never get tiresome to play with. This game deserves lots of love. I’ve got two suggestions - an Asian empire to fight through, maybe an African as well? Also the two handed weapons and the flails might need a little tweaking - they can be quirky to fight with. But game definitely deserves 5⭐️ and this is coming from someone who doesn’t really play mobile games or even write reviews. Looking forward to the updates and hopefully one day, console versions. We need more devs who care about gaming. Keep it up guys!

This game is good but I have one problem, when I go into the game it won’t load in. It said Logging in… and below that it said Logged into Game Center. But it won’t load in! I wait like 30 seconds and nothing happens this did not happen a couple days ago but now it does I hope you read this and fix it.

I know you just added Japan but here’s my ideas and some of them aren’t historically accurate to the time period but I know that’s not a main goal of yours

A Rome civilization I know you have the Holy Roman Empire but I would still like to have the original Roman Empire

A Mongol civilization I think it would be cool

Maybe like Aztecs I don’t know how this would be balance wise

I really like this game, best time passer for sure. Although I hate how the levels are laid out 😵‍💫. So you have 4 different islands to choose from, each one with unique levels, items, weapons, armor, etc. Except each islands gear and equipment is basically all the same just with different designs- The Japan Axes do the exact same damage as the ones on the British island. I wish every island had their own unique weapons and gear with their own unique abilities and capabilities. Rather than completing one island only to move to the next one completely going through and slaying anyone in your way all simply due to the fact their weapons have the same effect and abilities as your typical level 1 knife.
