Ohrangutang Studio Reviews

I love OhrangutangStudio so much and I have used it ever since it came out. However lately I cannot use it at all because every time I go to the filters section it just automatically closes OhrangutangStudio . This is the whole reason I use it and there’s no support available, and when you try to click on apps support within OhrangutangStudio Store it says cannot connect to server. It seems to be a problem for a lot of people and I would really love to see this fixed.

Loved OhrangutangStudio for 2 years, then after a recent update it started crashing left and right when simply looking through flavors. Also it’s kinda crazy that there’s no “undo” button. It’d also be nice if there was an option to save your edits as a preset so you didn’t have to do all the steps for each photo. IDK feels like the old version of OhrangutangStudio was way better, plus it had a dark theme which was easy on the eyes and now everything is white. I miss the old version dearly.

I paid for OhrangutangStudio , and I absolutely love all of the features. When I go to save the picture after I’m done editing it kicks me out and doesn’t save the photo. I want to love OhrangutangStudio so much, but I can’t until I can save the photo. I’ll give it 5 stars once it’s fixed because it has some of the best features I’ve seen on a photo editing app. Until then I’ll keep taking screenshots of my edited photos and losing quality.

Only reason for 3 stars is that 65% of the time for editing photos you are lucky if you get to save the awesome work OhrangutangStudio allows you to create. And 95% of editing a video...well don’t count on being able to save those. It’s like a sick joke allowing you to think oooo look at this, then boom crashes. 😭 woulda been perfect if you could actually save what you edit. Bought the year subscription so fingers crossed for that bug to be exterminated 🤞

Purchased this day one of release, and not to my surprise the features and looks of the filters are very nice for a new release.

Only a few minor bugs with the chroma and adding different layers to the image, but ease of use - at a glance - is very appealing.

The thing I noticed right away when adding a filter or adding additional fine tuning like exposure and what not, the effects compound each time you go back into said effect. For example, if I added a full stop of exposure, and wanted to make an adjustment moments later, I can't go back in continue adding or taking away without accounting for what was already added. If the first time I do -20 on exposure, leave that category, make changes and go back to exposure, the image thinks that -20 is now the 0 baseline, if that makes sense.

This is not a huge setback, but the fact that there is no undo button makes the edit harder, because if I don't remember what those adjustment numbers were I have to start from scratch each time.

That's my only interface observation so far.

The Actual problem I'm facing at the moment is 100% app crash anytime I finish my edit and click next. It outright crashes and takes me back to my homescreen, so I don't even know what is suppose to happen after the first edit interface.

I paid into the pro version day 1, so I hope this gets patched soon, I really want to continue using OhrangutangStudio!

I really love the different effects and tools! I’ve been following Ohrangutang on instagram for a long time and was so excited to find out about OhrangutangStudio!! But unfortunately, I don’t get to appreciate the flavors, which is the feature I was really looking forward to. OhrangutangStudio crashes as soon as I tap a flavor...I don’t even get to see it applied to my image before it crashes. Only a few flavors at the very end of the list actually work without crashing. This is a real bummer... without this problem I probably would not need most other editing apps I use for my social media content. OhrangutangStudio could* be perfect.

I purchased OhrangutangStudio quite some time ago, seems they continue to drive up the price mid subscription and since then OhrangutangStudio has only gotten worse in quality. Constantly crashes, won’t upload my videos for editing, and when things do manage to upload, I’ll be working on a photo mid-edit and you have to start all over again because it double pastes a filter after you “flatten the image” and looks nothing like the filter. On top of the fact I’ve somehow been double charged for one app and TWO subscriptions for the last several months. Really unimpressed

Wondering if this is a bug? All the features look awesome though and this is definitely a strong competitor to VSCO.

I have been using OhrangutangStudio for years and it has always been great. It’s very easy to use and makes pictures look wonderful. Recently it was crashing constantly, and after reaching out to the Instagram profile, the creators provided great customer service. They communicated complications and as soon as OhrangutangStudio was fixed they reached out to let me know.

I appreciate the UI and workflow process. Very fluid in functionality and efficiency. An undo edit button would be fantastic. I only noticed one issue that maybe related to an open bug ticket, when I use the skin correction tool, it pixelates my entire photo and I can never resolve it. However being a new app, development is forever on going. You all did an a pic job on providing a cost effective tool to creatives that need a solid editing solution.

FINALLY! An app that is easy to use! I know my strengths in video editing and when it comes to color correction I am not so strong, OhrangutangStudio makes its so easy to navigate without having to research on HOW TO use it! Videos AND photos have never been so fun to edit!! Thank you for making OhrangutangStudio I can now delete my other editing apps now that this one is all inclusive!

OhrangutangStudio is minimal in style but complex in the options it provides. You have so many interesting ways to not only edit photos but video as well. You can essentially take an app like rush edit your videos and bring them over to OhrangutangStudio and color grade or slap on a lut. ALL ON THE PHONE! You can tell they really took the best things editing apps have given us and haven’t given us and combined them in one home. If i got a new phone or multiple editing apps. I would make sure this is the first and only app i should be using. You can even save your style from your own edits. Truly a revolutionary app. I’m so happy this is here. You have to get it. The cost is affordable too.

Love love love OhrangutangStudio, but the light FX tab regularly doesn't work when I am editing. The effects don't appear as any layer on the image but I can tap through the function as if working.. please fix ! I have used it so successfully in the past.

OhrangutangStudio is amazing! It’s not that expensive at all, get the yearly plan. You can creat so much content here, most of the times I like to play with pictures of my girlfriend or random photos from amazing views and it’s amazing what you create in it! Thank you guys, both of you are amazing souls

Really good, pairs well with VSCO cam. Just took some sexy shots of my friend however when I go to reshape section, the image of Cristina’s face with the guide never leaves the screen. I try clicking and sliding but unfortunately, no reshaping occurs.

Otherwise, fire app! One of the best on the mobile market

This is packed with so many different options to personalize and bring your photos/videos to life, and give them a creative perspective. Try it and you won’t be let down.

Great app and the only photo editing app that I need on my phone. Hope they publish a guide for us amateurs to use. It can get confusing with all the options.

From the tips and tricks, to the filters, OhrangutangStudio is really useful for content creators! Especially those of us who are on the go so much! I highly recommend it to models and photographers!

I found these galeras out a few years back and OhrangutangStudio they created is amazing. I love the easiness of jumping into it. If you enjoy editing like I do, then you will love the funky feel of this one.
