I downloaded this app after being influenced to sign up for it for a reward from a different app.
After opening an account I received $50 of trades. I honestly don’t even remember the promotion that awarded me that but that’s not the point. The point is that over the course of a month or so I began to realize that this app is designed to take your money with the illusion of being able to one day withdraw the profits. However the app stated that I had to leave any funds in it for a year before they could be withdrawn. Inexplicably one day I noticed all of the stocks I had bought with the $50 had been sold. However there was no money in my “cash” it was just gone. Every month there is a five dollar fee for the app, which has slowly eaten up the remainder of anything I had in it. I now have five dollars left that I can’t withdraw. I questioned many times whether the app was actually even trading stocks or not or whether it was just a simulation of a brokerage app. I would steer clear of this one. Customer service did nothing to help my issue of missing funds. In fact I actually only was locked out of my account for several weeks when I reported it. I just signed back in today to discover that there’s only $5 left of what I had in it.
This all is a scam. Do not waste your money or your time

Basically unless u have a nice sum of money laying around… like the same kinda money that u could just go b a day trader with then this is a waste of your money… they only give u a bonus on the initial deposit if it is over a certain amount… so don’t open an account until that happens.. the “learn and earn” is basically free membership (cause there is a $5 a month membership fee that I didn’t see at first). The membership (keep in mind costs $5 a month which is t bad but robinhood is free) gives u 25 “free” trades a month. Which is just laughable since the only thing the membership does is gives me those “free” trades. Also with the learn and earn h have to have those funds sitting in the account for 1 year and if u do deposit money the membership comes out of your depositors money not the learn and earn making it so u can’t pull out the money u put in… and if all this is said somewhere it is buried in the fine lines while they use lots of word play (almost like they are intentionally trying to mislead) I just can’t trust a company that does that kinda shifty shady stuff with all their double speak… I would trust a hot girl that suddenly found me attractive right after I won the lottery more then invesr I mean tornado… cause rebranding like that also isn’t a red flag…

I don’t usually write reviews but i’m a petty person when I get stolen out of a chunk of change. They have a terrible interface with terrible support. I created my account with no issues originally, made a deposit, verified my bank. Once my deposit cleared I was logged out of my account and wasn’t able to log back in. So I did what any person would, contact support. I was told my account was closed and politely told to screw off. I asked about the funds that were deposited into the account and how to withdraw and they said it’s not possible. Never had this experience with robinhood, webull, public where my account is closed without even making a trade. Please save your time and money and go to robinhood, webull, or public.

UPDATE : They replied with asking me to contact support, but I already did and after 5 emails I haven’t received a response. Last thing they said is that my account is closed, no reason disclosed, and that withdrawal is not available for closed accounts.
