I'm one of the best sitters in NYC and this app hasn't brought me any new clients that were legit. One exception was a legit client who cancelled their booking due to cat being too nervous after she moved. For sitters reaching out to staff is pointless since it's someone in the UK who will get back to an email many hours later and won't address detailed questions you have. You're truly on your own.
Over 5 months the only possible work inquiries have been scammers posing as a potential clients stringing me along with weirdly worded questions and shifting requests. The good thing is these are quickly removed but only after wasting my time. Seems there no vetting process to weed scammers out. Makes it unsafe as well.
App co founder women seem nice, with hearts in the right place I assumed but my experience is that the app focus and emphasis is on their getting a cut of bookings and they're hyper sensitive to sitters possibly accepting payment outside the app and fear if they contact a possible client off the app- which has been their request at times since it's faster to text directly.
Until the app weeds out fake accounts, has better sitter contact, and cleans up the interface a little to show true pricing to clients it won't be worth using for good sitters.
