Manual Calculation does not perform when choosing the option for sales tax %. Total fees charged by eBay and PayPal include the amount collected for sales tax, too. Although eBay collects the buyers sales tax then debuting out immediately, the seller’s % of charge is based on the total collected which includes this sales tax. For those states collecting sales tax, the outcome this renders is not correct. Again, if a seller wanted to use the manual settings and guesstimate a sales tax average (ie 6%) - when inputted - the fees reflected on eProfit are wrong. Please fix this.

As you now know, eBay will be changing to more payment options known as managed payments. This will need to be revised to be accurate.

I used eProfit for a while now and it was ok but the fact that they don’t even offer a free version for someone who has been using them I can’t even see all the data I had I was counting on eProfit it stinks (update if this was a free trial of the paid version I can say eProfit stinks don’t pay for it I have started using flipwise which is $9 a month and it’s way better you should look it up online it’s great)

Your Profit numbers are way off. When I compare to the actual US eBay Fee Calculator, your Fee % is too low! I use eProfit on the go when I can’t be on the computer. I have now hurt my bottom line by making and accepting Offers where I thought I was still in the Profit, only to learn, I lost money! Please update/fix your eBay Fees to match the actual fees.

Would be a great app but after about six months of using it and not realizing it I found out that the math is wrong. The final value fee that they tell you on eProfit is never what the actual final value fee charged by eBay is because eBay charges a final value FeeBased on the transaction rate as well as you payA final value fee on tax and shipping. eProfit definitely does not account for the fee on tax or anything. For example I just did an item that I sold for $70 on here and it says that the final value feet is $5.76 but I can go to eBay and they tell me that the final value feet is $8.83
So I wouldn’t depend on eProfit for actually being accurate especially when it comes to tax time!

eProfit is handy if you are looking for an “estimated” fee amount as eProfit is off by about 9-10% a 100% of the time on the fees that eBay charges. Be sure to calculate an extra 10% on your fee cost to protect your bottom line if your an eBay seller. If you are selling new products where your margins are typically between 10-15% avoid eProfit and do the math yourself.

It’s a great idea, and worked well enough (I now get blank white screens when I click on sales details), but it’s still missing important features like tracking the amount buyers paid for shipping and the amount donated to charity (if any) so the profit margins are off. Also the history chart would be great, except it doesn’t render well because it can’t squeeze the names of all the months onto the screen. It would be nice to be able to view just data for one month or one quarter, rather than trying to view a whole year.

The calculations will ALWAYS be off depending on the difference between the apps static fee and the actual fee charged.

This is a very simple tool to help calculate eBay sales, but only one at a time. eProfit would be exceptional if it created a database storing all our eBay sales. As of now I am plugging all this info into an excel sheet, but I’d switch to only using eProfit to keep track of all my sales if only it had the option.

Good but needs to update the new eBay sales tax fees not added here it’s off. U guys need to add this beside everything else is good could would be better after this update though.

eProfit is a very useful tool but since the most recent update, promotion charges don’t show up on the profit margin breakdown. You also can’t select the appropriate category as only two pop up and you can read them. Lastly, when you attempt to put in the promotion percentage, your key board blocks the view of that category. This was never the case but I think it has something to do with the increased font of everything. Please issue a fix for this.

eProfit was great until 3 days ago. They added an intro screen and now eProfit is useless. It’s stuck on the intro screen with no way to get off it. Also there is no “Big Button” on the last page of the intro screen and no “Not Interested”. It’s too bad you couldn’t respond to my review. This was a good app, although not entirely accurate it was close enough. Now it’s useless. I have tried everything, closing eProfit , uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing works. I’m done trying. Update: Happen to open eProfit while trying to get rid of it and it’s working again!! Thanks for fixing the problem!! Now it’s a great app again.

Rather than having to do the tedious math:
Sell Price - 10% (eBay) - 2.9% (PayPal) - 30¢ (PayPal again)... this handy app does it all for you.

Even lets you set your own parameters and additional expenses like shipping costs and sales tax, though I just use the basic setup.

Is there a way to export our information we put into eProfit onto a Excel or google sheet?

eProfit is great to keep track of your actual expenses on the items you sell on eBay . Support is very fast and efficient if you have any questions or concerns . I believe this is a must have app to help you with your eBay store !

How much should I list my item for to cover my costs and make a profit?
Should I charge for shipping or make it free? Should I accept the buyers Best Offer or counter? Should I send a customer a discount or not?
Will I make money offering 10% off to an interested buyer? 15%?? 20%???

I've used many Ebay calculators in my day and they all without fail had flaws or just missing necessary features. I'm just thankful that someone finally took there time to create a calculator that has it all.
