⚠️PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE! DO NOT DOWNLOAD HiVideo!!!! ⚠️ I clicked to download this STUPID app from a Facebook add that popped up (I never ever click on those ads, but this one caught my attention because it was supposed to be a baby generator- I upload a pic of myself and my husband and it shows what our baby would look like) so I stupidly downloaded it from HiVideo Store before reading any reviews. As soon as I clicked on HiVideo to open it, it immediately charged me $79!!! I did NOT approve this purchase!! In these covid times $79 is a lot of money!! How dare an app developer scam people like this. I am just sick over this. I tried my best contacting Apple support several times and HiVideo Store to file a claim to get my money back. I was told numerous times that since this was an in-app purchase I would not be able to receive any form of refund. COMPLETE FRAUD. Needless to say I have since deleted HiVideo . I do not even want it on my phone after this unbelievably horrific situation. The worst part is that I have read several reviews that they’ve done this to so many people— they should be so ashamed.

Thieves. Clicked on there ad on Facebook. Never bought anything and never agreed to buy anything. Next thing I know I have a bill for $79! Within the hour it was billed to my card. Looking at other reviews it looks like many people have had the same issue yet Apple let’s them stay?!? The 5 star reviews here are all fake. Look at the names and the reviews. This company is nothing short of fraudulent

You won’t be able to see a filter or how old you will get. I don’t no how in the world it has 3 stars. This all is so dumb! Whoever created HiVideo doesn’t know how to create stuff. My advice don’t get HiVideo, it’s complete junk. 👎🏻

I don’t know how they made this. Is seems just twist face and add fake tones. Just this one it need almost 100 for one year. Though it has free trails, it need to charge first then refund if you cancel. However the cancellation always failed due to some ‘system technology issues’. At last you will be deducted1 month fee. That’s how it collect money.

UNBELIEVABLY RIDICULOUS!!! I don’t even want to put any stars but that’s not an option, I have the same issue as clearly many others. HiVideo appeared free so I went to download it and then the screen popped up saying my purchase was successful. I didn’t see anything saying anything about a cost until after I clicked to download and then there was no way to cancel it. I NEVER would have paid that. This is absolutely insane. And I am so incredibly mad at myself and at HiVideo Store for allowing this to be so easy to mistakenly purchase. I’m in the same boat as other people, something needs to be done to get rid of HiVideo and get everyone who unintentionally purchased it their money back. Please do this something about this.

You have to start a membership to see the results and the membership is high I give this a one star if you already downloaded it you should delete it and if you started the member ship quit because instead of taking your money once a month it takes it once a week and if you can’t quit get a new debit card.

I would like a refund because I didn’t know what was going on and nothing said I was making a purchase for HiVideo. Taking almost $80 away from someone is not fair nor respectful. I am asking politely to please refund my money into my account.

Not only that, but when you decline, it gives you another offer for 8 dollars a week! With a three day free trial.
So I accept the free trial, fully knowing I’m just gonna cancel it after using this trash piece of garbage app and not spend a cent on it.
Guess what? Doesn’t even work. The gender conversion and baby predict doesn’t even pull up an image at all.
The age prediction is terrible, and just puts wrinkles and grey hair on you. Snapchat has better free filters than this trash.

I’d give HiVideo zero stars if I could! Trash!! HiVideo charged my account $80! I deleted HiVideo and when I did It asked me if I wanted to cancel my subscription and I was like WHAT SUBSCRIPTION?! Even after I cancelled the subscription HiVideo STILL charged my account. HiVideo needs to be deleted! It’s such a scam! There is a free trial and then you have to pay a certain amount each month and I wasn’t even aware the payment is when they ask for your touch or Face ID! Don’t fall for it!

If I could put zero stars I would. HiVideo is the worst. Upload your picture and it spends 15 minutes finding a generic, picture that looks like it came from an insert to a newly purchased picture frame. Literally has nothing to do with the selfie you took. I then tried to see what our kids would look like and took pictures of myself and my husband. Same thing. A generic picture of some baby from an advertisement was our result. So dumb.

This was definitely a click bait scenario...and I fell through just like the other innocent people in this reviews, you guys advertise as free trial...never even got a chance to try it out because you charged me on the spot for $80 on my account, don’t even warned me! for this worthless piece of junk app...Apple should remove this worthless crap from their App Store....I am so mad and want a refund Apple for misleading advertisement!

Less then ZERO stars!!!!! I thought HiVideo looked interesting so I downloaded it not even thinking to look at the reviews. I instantly was not impressed so I immediately deleted HiVideo . A few minutes later I received notification for the charge to my yearly subscription to HiVideo for $80!!!!! I DID NOT APPROVE THIS CHARGE so I again IMMEDIATELY unsubscribed!! Now I am having to go through all kinds of hoops to get my money back. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! I am on vacation and did not need to lose this $80 over something I did not approve!!!!!

So I have 1 son and 2 daughters my son is always telling my girls that they have to look like girls and he’s a boy then my daughters get sad So I went on my phone to do the gender thing and I have had that app over two years so I don’t know why it did this but it said you now have know history on HiVideo and I wasn’t logged out it just did that and I know you have to make subscriptions to it and I did. My daughter thought HiVideo looked interesting so I told her to download it to try it out. Just like others said, next thing I know I am getting charged $79. This company has it set up in a way to where it’s easier to mistakenly pay then to try anything free. This is bad business practice and tricks people...like my daughter. I deleted HiVideo and I WANT a refund. You need to write the way to do that because I can’t figure it out. Next stop will be better business bureau and beyond if I don’t get a refund. Esp I’m these times $79 means a lot and does a lot.

This is a ridiculous app. It tricks you into purchasing a one year subscription. That cost $80+ in NY. That Apple would allow this to happen in its App Store and FB would advertise this is completely insane. I’m never again clicking on anything in Facebook or double clicking on Apple iPhone function. This is pure and simple theft. There was never a prompt that shows there’s a purchase or shows any amount for purchase. You just double click once and it’s robbed your account. I hold both Apple and Facebook liable for this robbery. And expect me to raise this issue loudly and repeatedly!
