I’m starting my job orientation tomorrow but I didn’t even have a place to stay! They talked about how they ll get things ready before my workday but they don’t care! They said they ll follow up with me on the weekends but they didn’t. They said they ll hand it over to the after hours support to follow up my housing and a hotel to stay but they didn’t. I find my own place for the day before orientation but I still need a place to stay so I can do my orientation . They are unprofessional and already it’s a disaster! What bad experience .
Recruiter is clubbing staff and they work with AMN passport . I don’t recommend them at all. This had been stressful for me. It took them a week to find one apartment and it turn out unsafe .So I gave them a list of apartments to help out yet they took a week with no update and now I have no place to stay with my pets. They drag things out during the hours they work so you get nothing done.

I reached out to AMN for help in finding me find a travel position. A recruiter got back to me almost immediately, and then I texted her back and she never got back to me the rest of that day. I texted her the next day almost at the end of the day, she finally texted me the following morning. I had asked her if she was going to help me or not and when she finally texted me she said “yes” what exactly was it that I needed help with? I figured I don’t want to go with that Recruiter because she’s asking me what I need! If she’s the recruiter, then she should already know by my profile. I reached out to another recruiter who said that she’s not able to staff nurses, but she would speak to her boss to find me another recruiter. That was two weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything yet:/

I am not a fan of app. I am a fanatic with rapid, quick, seamless onboarding. I’m tech savvy and want an app like you describe. It didn’t work like that for me. I started onboarding Sept 4, finished “everything” by Sept 15. Never got all clear until Nov 4. App still shows, I have outstanding items. Can not upload pdf files, only photos, which is useless to me. Still receive emails asking me to complete items that are done. I have no idea what is going on by looking in my app. I do like the sign feature, but often I signed it many times before it finally “stuck”.
