I had great hope for this application and I have been waiting for it for years. The current version allows you to log duty hours and see your privileges but does NOT allow you to log procedures or see how many you have logged. the UI is nice but without the functionality of being to log procedures and do evaluations of my attendings I think NewInnovations is severely lacking.

this app, Please consider updating to allow the logging of procedures. At this point it’s easier for me to log into a computer and log via the website.

Being able to log hours via a mobile app is a huge improvement and feels like a long time coming. However this is somewhat limited by the inability to log more than 2 days in the past. Would like the ability to log further back as well i.e. the same functionality as the desktop interface

...you can only log hours for the past 3 days! Why can’t we log hours further back in the past? I am curious why NewInnovations would be limited in this manner. Otherwise, it is really helpful and easy to use. Can’t speak for the procedures logging because my program doesn’t make us record procedures in new innovations, just duty hours.

Only for logging hours. No procedure logging you can only reference old procedures. Logging hours on this is a nightmare as you have to scroll through thousands of institutions to find your institution every single day that you log your hours. No ability to search or favorite... Calendar only shows A five day stretch. You can only log three days retrospectively unless you go through a back door and take a whole bunch of time. All in all this is a classic New Innovations product. More difficult to use then a hand plow in a parking garage.

Simple design and able to put in work hours and procedures but better functionality of seeing more than just a few days, maybe a list that is scrollable to ensure you have previous days in work be helpful. Hoping they will be able to add scanning of QR codes for conferences, etc so we can have a running tab on attendance records too.

The format of the evals is not usable- it doesn’t reformat for a phone interface so you have to scroll horizontally to see the full question and only small parts appear at a time. You can’t tell what rating you’re giving because the check boxes don’t line up with the content of the score. Was really hoping this would speed up my ability to keep up with evals but it’s completely useless as is.

NewInnovations doesn’t allow you to see completed evaluations, it only lets you complete ones that are due. Stalking my completed evaluations is essentially the only thing I would really want NewInnovations for anyway.

I used to really like NewInnovations , especially with the addition of the QR scanner and procedure logger but within the past 2 weeks I can no longer log my hours because the “activity” section remains blank. I’ve tried deleting and downloading NewInnovations . It’s pretty frustrating but I guess I’ll be going back to the desktop site.

Still a pain to log hours. There are way better ways to do this. Scrolling through the hour and minute wheels takes too long and often inadvertently hits the OK button prematurely. Additionally, you can only log hours +/- 2 days from today which isn’t particularly helpful. A calendar view like the native iCal would be more intuitive.

It would be a lot faster to log hours if I could just type them in, instead of using the scroll function.

Being this an app used by many healthcare providers surprisingly not being optimize for portable devices is annoying; for instance not being optimized for landscape mode makes it useless for iPads I could go on with other details to improve but apparently since they already got us in they don’t care if it becomes obsolete.

Functionality is great - I appreciate being able to log my procedures & patients without needing to go back to my workstation. However, with a recent update, suddenly I can’t read anything because my phone is set to Dark Mode. Developers - please correct this so I can continue to use NewInnovations !

It may be a lot to ask but I would like to see some administrative utilities as a super user. Maybe some conferencing functionality I.e QR display, add people to conferences on the fly, adjust time and something along the lines of “Report a problem” during a conference.

Does an ok job for what it is. I think most useful feature to add would be linking the calendar so I don’t have to log into the website to see what I’m doing the next day.

Need the ability to bulk log hours i.e. see a week or month calendar view and edit hours for days or weeks at a time like on the website.

The functionality is very basic. The ability to be able to log any procedure for your specialty is greatly needed. That is the only reason I got NewInnovations. It would make tracking procedures so much easier. I hope to see that soon. I’m willing to revise my rating once NewInnovations has that functionality.

This below issue is happening again:
For many residents at our program the “select activity” tab is blank once you click on it. Unable to log hours via app. Could you please assist!

Maybe I didn’t get something, but you cannot log hours in bulk and appears like you have to log each day separately. Much easier to simply go on website.

It is unbelievably cumbersome to enter duty hours in this. It does not keep your location or rotation info so it has to be selected from massive scrolling lists each day.

You have to select the hour and minute (vs quarter hours) of every start and stop without default times of day to start from.

You can only access today +/- 2 days. Which is useless since you can’t log in the future. And apparently I can’t even log Monday’s hours on Thursday.

I can’t believe we waited so long for such a terrible app.

We need a way to view the Residents' work schedule; there is no option for that. It still needs tons of work.

I can’t log my hours back, things happen and I should be able to log them when I can.

Procedures and evaluations are not up yet. I won’t be using it on a day to day.

It would be a huge improvement if we could log in procedures and hours through NewInnovations

If you can't include and expand the functionality of the mobile page, what does an app contribute?
